This is a Brilliant mower that cuts right up to the edges easily and the 1800 engine slices through even longer grass effortlessly. I would say it feel reassuringly a bit heavier but it is so easy to manoeuvre , empty and store. First class purchase.

Firstly the assembly of the mower:1. The mower body was a 10 mins job. Instructions are good. Just follow the instructions and you cannot go wrong.Mower body well made for the price of the mower.2. Now we go to the grass box or collector as stated in the instructions.It was little maddening to put on the handle on the grass box. After 15mins and a lot of hand power with a help of small G clamp it went clicked very easy. But I need the G clamp to do the heavy work and making sure that I do not break any thing.I have not cut any loans as yet because of the damn rain in the last few days. I have stated the mower in the garage, and did sound very good and powerful. Also it looks good!I know that the mower will cut the grass well, as I had a Webb 30 years an go and I wish I still have him. Why I did not go for cordless because it has less power then the cord one .It up to you if you buy this mower but I will recommend it to you.

I came to this relatively lightweight mower after many years' use of a petrol Honda which I no longer had the strength to push. Although it's early days I am so far very pleased with the performance of this mower. It cuts the grass well and has plenty of height adjustment which is easy to set. The grass collection works well and the grass box is a generous size. It's much lighter than my previous mower and so is easier to use, but it still feels sturdy and well made despite many parts being made of plastic-type materials. One downside is the black plastic power cable which though long enough is stiff and unwieldy to use - orange rubber would have been a better option.

I honestly cannot find a fault with this excellent little mower. It's the perfect size for a small garden but it is a proper lawn mower, not just a lightweight cheaply built gadget that a lot of the small mowers are now. I used to have a well known yellow one that lasted for years but when I looked at the current models they all seemed to be inferior. This little Webb mower is very slightly heavier by a kilo perhaps but still perfectly manageable to lift with one hand - and it has a sensible handle in the centre on top so that you can lift it when it is all folded away.Yes, the handle does fold down - easily. It is very simple to assemble - done in a very short space of time. The instruction book is printed in a type size you can read - in English! - and with good diagrams. How wonderful to find a British made product....The collection bag/basket is a good size and clips neatly onto the back of the machine and can easily be lifted out when full.The height of the machine can be altered with one lever at the left front wheel and is variable by 5 settings - the middle one gives a good average height cut. The mower is designed so that you can mow right up against an edge without any difficulty so no maddening tufts left that you have to go round cutting with shears afterwards.All in all, a really well made small mower that behaves brilliantly. Five stars all round.

We’ve had a few lawnmowers, in fact we bought a cordless one last year but due to various issues we didn’t manage to keep on top of our lawn. We bought this for the first cut this year and we can understand why it’s recommended by the RHS . I used it today on a very thick lawn and it mulched it perfectly! For the money it is totally worth it, the previous mowers (way more expensive btw) just couldn’t do what this mower did today! It’s also lightweight which is brilliant for me as I have arthritis and is very easy to use/clean.UPDATE! Hubby accidentally cut through the cable 😱 However, replacement cables are available and reasonably affordable thank goodness! He’s kicking himself, but we’ve ordered an orange cable which is easier to see on the lawn. I’m just so grateful he didn’t blow himself up! But he was using the mower on extremely long grass and it was munching through it perfectly! Still recommend it!!

Really liking this lawnmower. It feels sturdy but is surprisingly light and easier to move around than many mowers. It cuts beautifully too.My only negatives are that the grass collection tray is a little awkward, both to connect, remove and empty. The 'loose' flexible nature of the top control bars and all the connected power leads get in the way somewhat, and grass doesn't fall out of it particularly easy when you're trying to empty either. And, they haven't done enough to help you keep power leads out of harms way; my model had only one of the supposed two side holds to secure a plastic bracket to and hold the cord with. But in any case the hole they did give isn't located well enough to let you mow without worrying what the wires are doing - I'm still holding a good length of them just to be safe.But minor gripes aside, they're outweighed by the big plusses of providing the best mowing experience and lawn cut I've yet found. Definitely recommended, and if any future models tweak the issues I've mentioned it'll be the easiest 5 star rating you could find.If you need a mower, get it bought.

Its a very capable machine - cuts right up to the edges and has a powerful motor.

Delivery was much faster than expected! I stay on a Scottish Island and the manufacturer and various other outlets wouldn't deliver whereas Amazon delivered within two days of order!!The mower is more robust than the German models I previously had, although it isheavier if you have to lift it. Overall build quality and design is good. The operating handle in particular being the full length of the handle is of better design. The two mowers I previously owned had the operating handle on one side, and both have broken and cant get replacement.It was easy to put together too. Also I don't need to stoop but can push the mowers from totally upright position with 3 ht positions. The only negative is the soft box (which is personal to me because I tip the cuttings over a barbed wire fence and the soft box gets caught on the fence)Overall delighted and would highly recommend.
