This knife is excellent quality for the price. I bought this as a birthday gift for my bro-in-law. It is well balanced, sharp, sturdy and looks the business. The handle feels great in your hand and everything is well intigrated. It's the perfect blade length and come with a nice sheath. We'll see how it holds an edge over time, but initial impressions are very positive.

These are sharp and go though meat like a hot knife through butter. I don't use them a lot, but when I do, I am satisfied. They feel well made, the length of the knives goes well with the job I ask of them (mostly bar b q's and roast...you get the idea) I keep them in the box they arrived in (take care of them and they in-turn will take care of me) Not the cheapest, but I would make this purchase again.

I smoked 3 briskets for my son's wedding reception. I was not looking forward to carving that much meat with my old knife. Ordered it and was so happy I did. It still took me almost an hour and a half to get through all of them. But, this knife made it manageable. Extremely sharp and well balanced. I recommend.

Wow! What a beautiful slicing knife. Received it this morning and used it this afternoon on my 21 lb brisket. It sliced effortlessly. It feels perfectly in my hand and the 12 inch blade was plenty long for the task. The packaging is such that the knife stores within a sheath which fits back inside a box for storage. Would definitely buy this again. Would make a great gift for someone who slices meat, be it brisket, steak or even ribs.

Been using for about a week on a 15lb brisket, been a great tool so far. Good blade and nice sleeve storage cover. Had to scold my wife as she was using it to chop other food items, use one of the other 20-30 knives we have...lol. This tool is reserved for large meat (almost always brisket) slicing only.

I really love this knife. Right before I bought this, I saw a knife on sale at Costco with one of those sales presentations. It was $120 after 30% off. I almost pulled the trigger. I ended up passing it and ordered this instead. My reasoning was that I am ok if this knife is 1/3 as good as the other knife based on the price difference. Well, well, well. This one is better than the brand-name knife at Costco. This one is super well made. Has a good weight and grip. And it is sharp enough to make you look like a real BBQ chef. Also, having this knife makes a BIG difference in slicing your brisket (or big chunk of meat). Don't hesitate. Just get one and you will be happy.

I love cooking and I like to use good knives. It's fair to say that I have a knife for every kitchen eventuallity, other than a carving knife, as I'd been happy to use a large chefs knife for that purpose. I've recently taken to smoking big joints of meat and I was minded to try something longer and thinner than my 8" chefs knife that was sharp and well balanced and therefore manoeuvrable enough to slice straight, fine pieces of roast meats. This knife handled it all with ease. The grip, weight and balance are all top notch and the grantons work well at releasing the meats and avoid shredding. I recently used this blade to cut up a batch of flapjacks and my partner commented that it made the cleanest edges of all my attempts over the years. It doesn't fit in my knife block, nor have I been able to find a suitably sized block for it. It does come with a robust sheath, so I'm able to keep it in a drawer, safely away from delicate fingers. I've not had the knife long, so I've no idea how long the blade will stay sharp for. With a Rockwell rating of 56+, it should sharpen up nicely on the whetstone. I have no hesitation in recommending this knife.

No te imaginas lo afilado que viene este cuchillo. Es un espectaculo. Si te gusta hacer rebanadas de trozos de carne muy grandes como brisket, costillas de vaca, etc... este es tu cuchillo. Tambien lo he usado para trinchar chuletones, puedes hacer filetes muy muy finos.

Insanely sharp! Cuts more than brisket well. Cut super soft dinner rolls like nothing, tomatoes like silk, everything just so satisfying. Careful so so so sharp!
