Makes a great toasty sandwich. Grilled cheese. Ham and cheese. Very much like a panini

What a piece of garbage. First of all, it’s tiny. Comes with zero instructions so no idea how long to keep the sandwich in. You’d think it would be self intuitive but it’s not. Worst part is the cleanup, or lack thereof. Yes, the cooking plates are nonstick and wipe easily. It’s the rest of the machine. You figure melted cheese is going to be a go-to in most sandwiches. Even using a small amount it ended up all over the place. I spent more time cleaning my counter as the cheese just kept coming. And, it ends up cooked and hardened within all the plastic crevices surround the plates. One “sandwich” in this maker was enough for me. I can’t return it fast enough.

So this item was a request by my husband, who kept insisting it would "change my life". I said ok, it's not hard to make a grilled cheese, but I bought it anyway because it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, and boy lemme tell ya.....we use this machine probably 3 times a week MINIMUM. While it can't handle the giant, gooey, cheese-melty amazingness that I call a tuna melt, it does make literally so many things so much easier to make. Normal grilled cheese sandwiches for tomato soup comes out super fast, quesadillas are super easy, and more. My husband thinks he's some sort of panini machine/sandwich maker guru and he's not wrong. There are so many options with this machine. Buy it.

So happy with this item! It’s practical and well-made. Definitely recommend.

So Pros this does a good job of making a grilled cheese sandwich. Cons are that while the non-stick cooking surface is easy to clean it is surrounded by grooves that are almost impossible to get melted cheese out of and the thing is pretty gross after several uses.
