Earth Mama - Milkmaid Lactation Tea, Organic Herbal - 16 Teabags (3 Pk)

Purchased these to increase my milk supply and so far I have seen an increase. The tea doesn’t taste bad I can gulp it in one setting. I love how the bags have cute inspiring quotes on each tag! Nothing like a warm cup of tea and some motivation to keep supplying for your little one.

I’ve used these brownies for my last three babies and they’ve never failed me. By far the best tasting dairy free lactation brownies ever.

I’m a big tea person, however, I was nervous about the taste due to other reviews. Personally, I enjoyed the flavor it’s not a very strong tea, the flavor is kind of weak, so I would brew two tea bags at once to try to enhance the flavor then mix it with a little honey or maple syrup and it became one of my favorite teas. As far as lactation help I will give this tea all the credit because I went from barley pumping 0.5 ounces from both sides to pumping 4 ounces each side, but beware this tea does make your armpits stink a little extra because of the fenugreek.

Giving it 4 stars because the 2 boxes I ordered came beat up and the inside was exposed, luckily the tea bags are wrapped and covered and remained that way. At first I was using honey with it, I can't drink unsweetened tea, it tasted ok, I didn't notice any difference in the breast milk supply, in fact my milk supply seemed to be less. I have an 11 month old that still breastfeeds, I pump milk for him for when I'm at work and when I'm home with him I just breast feed. In the previous months I used to have an oversupply of milk, it'll just sprout out and wet all my shirts, even with breast pads on, in the last couple months my supply had decreased, I wanted something to help with milk supply, so I ordered this tea, the price was right. After 3 days of taking it sweetened I didn't notice a difference, well I would usually pump 6-8 ounces from each breast, when I use this tea in the 1st few days my supply went down to like 4-5 ounces from each breast. After the 4th day I decided to take the tea without sugar or honey and it wasn't the best taste but I bared with it. Oh and I take the tea 2-3 times a day sometimes even up to 4 times. I notice my breasts leaking again and becoming engorged, didn't have that for a while, and I pumped about 9-10 ounces from each breast from about the 5th day and I believe it's from this tea. The results are better without sweeteners in my opinion or I just had to wait a few days for it to work. My son drinks 6-8 ounces a day and a lot so I needed something to up my milk supply and I believe this tea helped me, so try it! It may help you to.

I was on the fence to try this or not because a lot of the time the "all natural" remedies just don't seem to work for me, but when my production started to slow (in correlation with a hormone drop) about a month ago I figured, "What have I got to lose?" Initially the smell was VERY off-putting because I am NOT a fan of fennel or star anise. Both are in this tea, and the fennel is the most predominate smell when the package is opened. This immediately made me skeptical of how it would taste, but again "what have I got to lose?" The first time I tried the tea I made a cup with about 12oz of water, let it steep for about 8 min, added about a tsp of honey and the taste was bearable. It is much more mild in taste than the smell had me thinking it would be. As far as how well this WORKS, I personally have not seen a dramatic increase in production that obviously correlates with drinking this tea. My decreased production lasted about two weeks. I started drinking the tea at 2-3 cups a day the beginning of the second week, and by the end of the second week I was only getting 0.5oz to 1oz more - out of both breasts combined - than what I was getting before starting the tea. That still wasn't the same volume I was producing prior to the hormone drop. My hormone levels have evened out once more and I am now producing almost as much as I was before the drop while still drinking the tea a couple times a day so definitely not seeing astounding results or producing an "over abundance" here.

Good flavor

If I could rate this product higher I would. Been taking this for 3 weeks now postpartum and I am really impressed with the results. Works in the matter of a few hours, I literally go from only being able to make 5 oz to 12!!! I recommend that if you know you might be getting low (stress or what not) to take it in advance to get that boost. I now have a freezer stash and have been able to keep up with demand easily. Takes a min to be okay with the taste so pair with maybe chamomile or earl gray but really this tea is legit.

Absolutely love this tea. Excellent clean ingredients and supports not only my milk production but my body in general. A repeat buy for me.

Okay product. not super impressive. The teabags' individual paper packaging definitely needs improvement. The paper wrapping is too "fit" to the teabags that when you tear it off, it's super easy to also make the internal teabags torn open and broken....

Not sure if this really helps with milk production, but it's herbal and I'm sure it's beneficial
