I agree with all the 5-star reviews here, so why echo them? To me, what’s just as important is the way a lube pours. A minor thing? Hear me out: Dispensing choice is just as key as the quality of the lube inside. Thumbs down on the thumb pump. Ever had one of these bottles slip out from under itself and land on the dusty floor?? Can you say coitus interruptus? And no thumbs up for those square-edge pivoting nozzles. Ever had one of these gougers poke you at the worst possible time, in the worst possible place?? That a sure way to soft boil a hard-on. All varieties of Slippery Kitty get it right, inside and out. Tap the tip and pour, with no chance of unfortunate dispensing dysfunction. And get on with getting it on.

It's probably my favorite lube but I am removing one star because they gave me two of this when I ordered one of this and one silicone, it's not really a big deal and I don't really care enough to try to get the right one but still.

My wife tends to like water based lubricants because they are thicker and provide more of a cushioning effect for her. I tend to like silicone based because they are more slick and provide more of a slide. I thought this would be the best of both worlds, but sadly it is not. It is pretty thick and viscous like other water based lubricants, but it has a little bit more lubrication to it like a silicone based. Unfortunately it dries up very quickly, like in 5 minutes or so. It also created a warming sensation for my wife which she did not enjoy. She said that it did not burn but it was very warming, like the opposite of those cooling lubricants. I can't recommend this for couples like us seeking a hybrid.

Slippery Kitty Hybrid Lubricant came in a 4 oz bottle and is a unique blend of both water and silicone-based substances and was created in conjunction with Dr. Sadie Allison, whose several books I have read in my effort to convince the wife to expand our repertoire; usually to no avail. Unlike silicon lubes, I have found many of the water-based ones have the drawback of sometimes requiring reapplication in mid-stride, depending of course on how long those strides last, here you get the best of both and I discovered this product was quite long lasting. The viscosity and slickness lasted long after its job was done and washed of easily. The substance itself was quite slick, allowing smooth gliding of two moving and opposing parts and had both no odor and seemed hypoallergenic. All in all, I found this a very good feline-centric product and it should work well with a variety of kitties, from hirsute Persians to denuded Sphynxes. Whether using it on two moving parts that belong to two different entities or when the two parts belong to the same individual, it will be the highlight of duets and solo performances alike. All at an excellent and reasonable price point. It is simply the cat's meow. Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of (sometimes) fur. Happy kitty, feeling sleepy now kitty. Purr...purr...purr.
