Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Advanced, Strawberry Lemon, 10.5oz

I actually like the strawberry lemonade flavor. It’s easy to mix with cold water and doesn’t taste too heavy. I’ve been drinking it pretty regularly and it’s an easy way to add collagen to my routine.

I always get VP collagen and after I tried this as a sample at Costco I was sold. The price was a lightning deal on Amazon and was less expensive so I snagged it! I tried to order more than one, but I guess you can only order 1 during a lightning deal. :( I mix this in a bit of warm or room temperature water so that it fully dissolves before I add my ice cold water so it doesn't clump. It's worth a little extra time because it tastes very good. I hope the collagen is effective for my joints, hair, skin and nails as that is what I bought it for! "Fingers crossed!"

I really like Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Advanced with Hyaluronic Acid and the ingredients in this product. I made ice cubes with Minute Maid juice, then blended them with more juice and added the collagen. It came out very frothy with a texture similar to fro-yo. Since it’s dairy-free, it could also be a good option for people who are lactose intolerant. If you like yogurt or frozen yogurt textures, this would probably be a great way to enjoy it. For me, the strawberry lemonade flavor was a little too tart and the texture wasn’t my favorite. I would love to see this formula offered in an unflavored version or flavors like strawberry or vanilla so it’s easier to mix into more things.

It is pricey but the taste of this flavor compared to the "unflavored" version that tastes like holding the shell of a capsule pill in your mouth and just letting is melt (yuck!), is much better. Tons better. I do wish we got more for our money though. FYI... if you drink the powder in a room temp liquid instead of something cold, it doesn't get that weird "silky" texture.

This is a pretty good source of collagen. It's best to mix it in a room temp or warm liquid prior to adding it so something cold. It doesn't dissolve well in cold liquids. The taste is great, I added it to tea and lemonade. I saw an improvement in my skin and the stiffness in my joints went away.

I use this because it’s one of the few clear protein drinks out there that is made by a reputable company AND dairy free. Flavor’s OK it does taste like pink lemonade, but it also has the collagen taste to it. I boil a few ounces of water than stir it in and then add ice and more cold water. I definitely dilute it. If I don’t, it’s too thick and gross. Undiluted it taste like Knox gelatin, and a little bit of pink lemonade powder. I might buy it again cause it’s an easy snack in the afternoon. I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you really like this brand.

Use to use Vital Protein Collagen brand a few years ago and after trying other collagen powders, I came right back to it because it works for me and no other brand can beat the flavor. If something tastes bad I stop using it!

I have used another brand and absolutely love everything about it. However, I wanted a variety of flavors so I thought I'd try this one out. My mistake. This stuff tastes terrible. It does not dissolve even in warm water. The consistency, once it finally mixes up, is like jello in its liquid state. I also discovered this product does not contain biotin like most other collagen products do. Disappointing since one of the reasons I am using collagen is for thinning hair due to age and medications. I'm not really that picky but this product is awful.
