Good quality and excellent value
This is excellent quality, a good fit, does the job to keep you dry, and is a good price I think too. Very pleased with it. It washes easily and dries pretty quick too. Highly recommended.

Fits well and keeps you dry
This coat has a great lightweight feel and is brilliant for keeping my husband dry in a downpour. It fits really well, not tight which allows him to wear a jumper beneath but also not so loose it hangs and looks unattractive. Happy to recommend it.

Lightweight
Lightweight , can be folded up and kept in the glove box in the bag I found in the pocket. I only went out for a short while and it was not raining very muck , so have to wait for a heavier rain or longer out in the rain to fully test waterproof. The drawstrings for the hood and bottom hem are very long and I may cut them and reknot to make shorter as they do get in the way. Two pocket each side are enough to get my mobile in, just about and with a small flap to keep water out. But the zip is why I gave it 4 stars only , it is on the wrong side . and as much as I have tried can only do it up with my right hand, for some reason when I try with my left hand it won`t work, strange. I am left handed and tried other zips with left and right hand with no problem. It is something you should get used to , but annoying. The elasticated cuffs fit me well for my medium size and give a snug fit on my wrists

Very light weight Emergency Rain Jacket
Update - 5 to 4 stars. When I wrote the review the weather was wrong for testing but now I have, as my emergency car coat. One thing I had missed when trying on at first is the zip is the wrong way round. Unless you are left handed this is a woman's coat, not a man's as the zip is on the right side, not the left. Once fastened all is fine though it is a little short. In heavy rain it did a good job. ---------------------- The jacket is very light weight, so summer showers will be fine, but in winter it will not provide any source of heat. There are two pockets and these have 3 sided flaps over the top so you do have somewhere waterproof to put items, however not being angled they are not great for comfortably hosting your hands. The hood is relatively deep and does come with toggles to reduce the opening, The bag is small, but rolling the jacket up I was able to squish it all in with minimal effort. I had no problems putting on and wearing this jacket, initially the zip was a little tough to pull down but I think this is a combination of being new and the light weight material folding/compressing under pressure of the downwards pull. This is very much aimed at being an emergency jacket for keeping in the car (as I will now do) or when going hiking where you need something that will do the job but take up minimal space.

OK for summer showers but little more-quite thin
This is a lightweight shower jacket, probably best used in summer when there is a light risk of rain- the material is quite thin, non-woven type with heavy stitching but not taped seams which in heavy rain is expected to leak through first. The inner face of the material is coated in an opaque white treatment which I suspect provides the main waterproofing- it is at risk of wearing off and I would look at applying a exterior aftermarket coating as a fall back. The sizing for me was very good, it fitted well at the chest and arms, and although it was a little short (but accurately so) which means any run-off will deposit onto the upper trouser rather than the legs or fall off completely. The hood did cover adequately and there is a drawstring at the hood and at the bottom of the jacket to pull in the apertures. The zipper, strangely was on the right size, not the left as normal, it has the highest sticking tot he base fabric and was secure, although it did take a degree of effort to get the lock base at the base to fit into the mating channel , but once in it did stay. Overall 23gbp is quite a high cost for a lightweight occasional coat, it's folds into a small space and is good as a standby, but not something to go trekking with.

Great value, no frills, lightweight waterproof
This is a no-frills, very lightweight, packable waterproof. It is not a fashionable, stylish item, and is really the perfect thing to stuff in your rucksack when going hiking, as it weighs nothing and packs right down to tiny. My husband keeps his in his rucksack and it works perfectly for the odd downpour, as well as working great for something to sit on if you don't want to get your bum wet on the grass. Zip is wrong way round, which is a bit odd but didn't bother my husband. Perfect for a budget friendly, no frills, pac-a-mac.

OK
Review for COOFANDY Men's Rain Jacket Lightweight Waterproof Outdoor Jackets with Hood and pack £20.39 Whilst the jacket is decently made and looks very nice it is also very thin and at best showerproof. It is suitable for the warmer months and will keep a light drizzle off you but anything more substantial will quickly overwhelm any waterproofing properties. It fits true to size and packs down really small, so is useful for keeping in a bag for emergencies or taking to the beach. It provides some decent wind proofing but I don't think it is worth the hefty price being asked.

Functional for a quick flash spot of rain
Keeping cool in the summer months but managing when it might rain can be difficult. I'm usually out all day for work so got to decide whether to take a coat or not. With this you can pack it in your bag and if it rains, you stick it on. It is thin, it is designed purely for rain, it's not going to keep you warm. it does however mean it's very easy to transport. It's main flaws is the length, even another 10-20cm could ensure you protect your bum from the rain, but it's not designed as such. Feels like you'd aim for trousers of a similar construction in that case. Other than that, it's fine for what it's intended purpose is.

Sadly the reviews failed me. I bought this as a 2x and it did not fit. I wear 2x in all my shirts and jackets and this felt like a 1x at best. I let my wife try it to see if it would work for her. She did like the fit as it was loose and light. However it did not performed as advertised. The material is not water resistant as you can see from the images water bleeded through and she got wet. The material was hot but not overwhelming hot. I will return and try a different brand.

This jacket is incredibly flimsy. Although it is listed as a men's jacket, the zipper is configured for females; backwards for a man. There are no extermal pockets.

It's plastic and it's easily torn. It's not worth the money I paid.
