Better than Dr. Scholls
As long as your not hiking or doing something like jogging these stay in place pretty well and offer more cushioning than all the other inserts I've tried from the big box stores and pharmacies. I've been wearing these for several months for some serious Plantar Fasciitis. It's by no means cured mine, but I have on occasion noticed a difference on days I wear them. I imagine if your heal discomfort was mild to slight one would notice a larger improvement. Good luck!

Gives wonderful cushioning to my heels, but spine doctor says not to use them
For the few weeks I used these, I was very happy with them.When I showed them to my spine doctor, she explained that any extra lift placed under my heels would tend to put my lower back into a curve, which could lead to increased lower back pain. I'm giving them to the friend who recommended them to me.
