Saiyin 5.0 Home Theater System, HiFi Surround Sound Speakers

Very happy with the sound quality, using these with a thrift store find Sony receiver, sub, and pair of 12's

The 5.0 speaker set is an amazing value for the price. The center channel reproduces bass as low as 40 Hz, and the satellite speakers go down to about 80 Hz. These measurements were taken on-axis using a calibrated microphone. The frequency response is not flat throughout the audible range, and there is a noticeable shift at the cross-over point near 2 kHz. However, it is very well controlled using even the most basic room correction software in modern recievers. These speakers punch above their class, given how inexensive they are. Saiyin made a very odd choice in making the center channel 8 ohms, while the satellite speakers are 6 ohms. It's not a deal-breaker by any means, but your AVR will have to boost the center channel by about 3 dB to get even loudness out of all speakers.

For the price, these are absolutely acceptable. I would make sure to have an amp that can drive the power they require (50W peak - surrounds) (80W - center) or they might be a little quiet, otherwise they sound very good, and have easy install as simple as one drywall screw, they are Very lightweight. Worth the $ if you need very cheap surround speakers.

Excellent sound at an amazing price!

Now, I'll preface this as I am not an audiophile. However, for the money, these speakers work incredibly well and sound great with my Yamaha receiver. They were easy to wire and tuned nicely with it. Paired well with my subwoofer as well. The case and cover look nice as well.

I'm thoroughly impressed with these speakers, for the price point, and considering their power rating and connected to a 100w/channel receiver. I have powered bookshelf speakers of the same brand, and I've been very impressed with those as well. That being said, I think these speakers sound better; but despite their size, don't have as much low range as their rated/specified frequency response. However, I am using a subwoofer as well, which definitely covers the low range that these speakers are missing out on, which would probably be my only complaint. I don't think anyone buying these speakers would think they're going to have good bass, anyway.

Disappointed with sound quality. Almost like being in a box and holliw. But, very limited base. Dont wastevyour money.

Ok...you didnt break the bank to get these. But your money is still your money. I read the reviews and it delivers...just not on par with my audio preferences. I love highs! These speakers come off muddy and bland. I will admit the mid bass is there. Very well. But it doesn't offer the high hats as well as I'd liked in certain music. Regret? No, not at all. I will agree it is a great deal. Just a good starter or get-by speaker set until you find your forever love ones. But ears are like eyes, what I hear may not be what you are looking for. And sadly, there are few actual stores you can still listen to a speaker and have a variety now thay online is more convenient. Trial and error? I guess but Trust me when you hear the difference you will see what I mean, whether its these or something with a higher khz range. So.... I give a 6 out 10.

Caixas com um custo benefício muito bom, qualidade sonora dessas caixas superou e muito as minhas expectativas, não conhecia essa marca mas vou ficar de olho em outros produtos da marca Saiyin, para vocês terem uma ideia ela é tão boa quanto a Edifier, tenho duas caixas P17 e essas caixas rivalizam com elas.
