IVP Knowing God Study Guide

My sister, daughter, and I spent last year taking our time to read this book and use the study guide to drive our getting to know God discussions. When we started, we were looking for a way to find and know God better. This book has transformed our understanding of who God is, how much He loves us and wants to be involved in our lives. It has also strengthened our faith and certainty of His presence and the absolute importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. There hasn’t been a Bible study that has impacted me the way this book has. I highly recommend using the study guide and take your time reading and digesting the book’s chapters. If you are a true seeker of truth and want to grow in your Christian faith, this book is well worth digging into. This book is transformative.

This may truly be the best book on Amazon for a Christian, or anyone wanting to know what God is, who God is, and what God desires. It has completely changed my life. Now that I have listened to it 2 times on Audible, I had to buy it, to be able to underline and high light passages that were striking to me. My attitude toward others has changed, I no longer judge harshly as I had been in the past. I no longer have anxiety or fear like I did. I have a new fear and worship of God, because I in some infinitesimal way, I have been given eyes to see who the infinite God is. I have been recommending this book to everyone I know who may know the LORD, or who even has questions about life or death, or faith. And now, I would like to recommend it to you all.
