Works great! Want a 2nd one!
I have found some very significant benefits of owning and using this air purifier. I live in a relatively small home with 5 people, 2 cats and 2 dogs. It can get pretty dusty and covered in pet dander pretty quick. One thing that bothers me very much is that I try and keep the home decent and as clean as I can, but the pet smell is very hard to get rid of. I absolutely despise the smell of cat litter boxes and do everything I can (short of getting rid of the cats) to stop the smell. This machine has made a significant and positive impact on the smell in my home. It is almost silent, but still very strong. The filters feel like they are of very good quality. It is basically plug and play. I just turn on auto mode and check out the number on the display when I walk by. One of the great benefits of this purifier is the tracking of air quality. The downstairs of my home where I placed it is hard floors without carpet. I try to vacuum often, but get busy and lose track sometimes. The gauge on this machine kind of indirectly reminds me when my floors are getting bad enough to impact the air quality. No joke, I have tested it 3 times. When the light turns green and the numbers are above 40 I know I have to break out the vacuum and bu the time I am all finished, I see the numbers drop back down in the blue. Seriously, picture 1 is before vacuuming (notice the cat tracking litter on the floor) and 2 is afterwards. I am likely going to get another one for the upstairs because I am so impressed with this one.

Powerful, Quiet, and Easy to Use โ A Must-Have HEPA Air Purifier!
I recently purchased this HEPA air filter on Amazon, and I couldnโt be happier with its performance. The dual HEPA filters make a noticeable difference in air quality, capturing dust, allergens, and even pet dander with ease. Within just a few hours of use, I could feel a significant improvement in the freshness of the air in my home. It runs quietly, which is a big plus, allowing me to keep it on throughout the night without any disturbance. The sleek design also blends well with any room dรฉcor, making it a stylish yet functional addition to my space. One of the standout features of this air purifier is its adjustable settings. The built-in timer allows me to set it for a few hours or let it run continuously, which is perfect for managing air circulation throughout the day. The multiple fan speed options provide flexibility, whether I need a gentle purification mode or a more powerful setting after cooking or during allergy season. I appreciate that even at its highest speed, it remains relatively quiet and efficient, ensuring that clean air is distributed without unnecessary noise. Additionally, the lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to move from room to room. Whether I need it in the bedroom, living room, or even my home office, I can carry it effortlessly without hassle. The setup was simple right out of the box, with clear instructions and intuitive controls. For anyone looking for a high-quality air purifier that delivers excellent performance and convenience, I highly recommend this one. Itโs a great investment for a healthier indoor environment!

A purifier that makes a big difference!
I know own 3 of the Dayette purifiers, so what does that tell everyone. I like that it had a great price and medical grade filter H14. And if you wonder or want to know how well these purifiers work, just get a air quality monitor and you will see exactly. I first thought my air monitors were wrong, but i have 2 of them and show the same results. Plus i vacuum daily to keep dust and dirt down. These purifiers are at a great price and even beat the larger more expensive models when it comes to air purifying and cleaning. I tested larger very expensive model purifiers and nothing is as good as the Dayette! My Amazon air monitor shows 98 and 99% out of 100 for my air dust and dirt air quality. The larger expensive purifiers, struggled to keep my air at even 90%. My 2 Dayette purifiers are non-wifi and then i have one that has the wi-fi. I like being able to see my air level when i am not home and able to turn on the purifier if needed. Plus i also like that this has 2 filters, one in front and one in back. I keep my purifiers on Auto setting and it works great. If you dont believe me, then do some research and find out. But i would not have 3 of these purifiers if they did not do a great job. Running even one purifier at home since i have a small apartment is fine, i am just a fanatic with clean as i can get air, also, i could not resist when Dayette has a sale. Go ahead and buy one, or two, or even three, never hurts to have extra and all you have to lose is dirt.

Great Purifier
The infrared-laser sensor, ACM (Air Cycles Per Minute), and air quality results are accurate. However, the ad listing specifications are at best, a hot mess. The Good: Within five minutes of arriving at my door, I unboxed, installed the filter, plugged in, and powered up the air purifier with minimal effort. I appreciate its sleek design, as all my appliances are white. The two air intakes support its high ACM capacity. I placed my hand just above the output grill and felt the intense force of air rushing between my fingers. The smell of the purified air is refreshing. Watching the PM2.5 sensor reading is intriguing. It allows me to measure the air quality in my space and witness the downward trend of air contaminants removed over the next hour. I ran it on Turbo mode (because, who wouldnโt when getting a new toy?), in my 8,000 cubic foot living room. Within an hour, the air felt and smelled cleaner. I switched to the auto mode, and this little guy is intelligent! I can trust him adjusting the air flow based on the sensorโs readings. The Dayette brand Air Purifiers have a mixed bag of product listings. While some ads provide useful information, others are inconsistent and misleading. I reviewed over 50 Air Purifier ads, learning about their specifications and performance. CADM (Cubic Feet Per Minute Airflow Rate), M3/H (Cubic Meters of Air Filtering Rate), ACH (Air Cycle per Hour Rate), and Max Square Footage Space (total SF that can cycle all the air in 1 hour) are all important factors to consider when comparing different models. Now, letโs discuss the Dayette ads. They are inconsistent, contradictory, and the company fails to acknowledge the provided examples. The unit I received has the model number โAP303,โ which refers to an older model design with a significantly lower ACH rate and a round filter. When searching for a replacement filter for this specific unit, youโll find that only round filters are listed with โAP303,โ which is not the design of this model. Consequently, Iโm still unable to obtain a replacement filter. The unit advertises its ability to cycle an entire 3000 sq ft space in approximately an hour, which translates to a CADR CFM value of 400, which is considered high. However, there are two other Dayette models that also advertise a 3000 sq ft capacity, and all three โ3000sf modelsโ are priced differently. This particular unit is priced at $149.00. Another 3000 sq ft model is priced at $154.00. It mentions the modelโs name as AP401 and states, โContinuous powerful purification for large rooms up to 3000 Sq Ft.โ However, it doesnโt specify the per-hour rate like this ad. To further complicate matters, a photo on the right side of the listing indicates that the unit has a maximum square footage space capacity of 1720 sq ft per hour. One unit that claims to have a capacity for large rooms up to 3000 sq ft and a maximum capacity of 1720 sq ft? Are they attempting to sell a significantly lower-end unit at a higher price? Is it capable of operating at a 3000 sq ft or 1720 sq ft capacity? The detail is so subtle that I only noticed it after my initial purchase. My first purchase was this model, which appeared to be a great deal, until I stumbled upon the 1720 reference. Even if the unit I received had a 3000 sq ft capacity, how could that be verified? The Dayette team failed to address this concern, so I returned the unit. The third ad for a 3000sf model advertises it for $169.00. It claims to purify up to 3,000 sq ft per hour and 500 sq ft per 10 minutes. A photo on that ad refers to it as the AP401 model (the same name as the second listed one, which mentions a 1720sf / hour cycle rate). However, scrolling further down reveals that the model is actually an AP303 (the same as the model name in this listing). Is this model an AP401 and AP303 that offers a maximum capacity of 3000sf with a 1720sf / hour cycle rate and a 3000sf / hour cycle rate? My point is that I invest in a brand, and itโs challenging to trust any unitโs actual specifications. In my opinion, thatโs the entire purpose of choosing a product based on its advertised specifications. All five or six listed ads contain conflicting information. Why did I keep this unit? It provided the most consistent data among the three, and Iโm impressed with its performance. Iโm still waiting to see how Dayetteโs team addresses my concerns. I also own the AP403 model (4000sf capacity) because of its ad with more consistency, and that unit is a powerhouse. However, I still donโt know if I got whatโs advertised at the price it was listed for. I hope this review was helpful, even though itโs quite lengthy. When you encounter something that seems incorrect and then discover more and more evidence supporting the idea that it isnโt right, I feel compelled to share that experience. Is there intentional misinformation in ads designed to confuse and charge more for lower-quality products? With such small details, most people wouldnโt notice them (unless youโre like me and over-analyze anything that doesnโt make sense). As a consumer, itโs your responsibility to compare the ads, challenge whatโs claimed, and embark on a quest to uncover the truth. Donโt fall victim to false ads; conduct thorough research. I believe Dayette has a great product, but the โbrand nameโ canโt be trusted until they address their inconsistent ad content issues. Thanks for listening.

Sleep mode is extremely quiet!!!
It's only been a few days at this point and so far, I'm very impressed. It was pretty easy to set up. Open the box. Remove the product. Remove the sides to get to the filters. Remove the filters from their bags and return them to the unit in the same direction they were when shipped. Remove the AC cord from the underside of the unit. Plug it into the side of the unit, and plug it into the appropriate outlet. Turn it on. Voila! Cleaner air! My spouse noted within just a few hours that I was breathing better and not as phlegmy. I didn't know if it was a placebo effect but the next day we noticed the same thing, and that we both felt a little better. 5 stars just for that!!! The Auto mode is very quiet. We have a rowenta fan and if you know how quietly they run, that's a good comparison. The sleep mode on this is even quieter than the sleep mode on the rowenta fan, which is considered whisper quiet. This purifier is quieter than a whisper, it's almost impossible to hear in sleep mode. And, the running light turns off in sleep mode, another plus... nothing to keep you awake, another plus! The air is sucked through the front and back of the unit and cool cleaner air comes out the top. It has handles built into the sides so it can be easily moved from room to room. It's pretty lightweight, pros and cons to that. It's easy to move but our cat thinks it is a step up to the window and knocks it over. It would be nice to have a sturdier or more weighted base just for that, but I can relocate it to solve the problem. The turbo definitely has some power. At this point , I would highly recommend this product.

Absolute must have!!
Design is perfect. It was a perfect item for my home. There is no noise. You don't even know it's running. It has helped so much in the short time that I have been using it. It has helped a lot with smells and dust and other allergens in the home. Apparently there are a lot of features that come with this unit that I was unaware of. I honestly can't speak to the Wi-Fi connectivity capability of this unit, I didn't know it even had that feature. It's very easy to clean the filter.

A GREAT Filter
Truly impressed at the quality of this air purifier. It works by pulling air in through the front AND back, and exhausting the clean air out the top. It comes with included pre-filters and charcoal HEPA14 filters on both sides. I included a numbered sequence of photos showing a progressive tear down. 1 - front panel is popped loose but otherwise fully assembled. 2 - front panel removed showing the pre-filter. 3 - pre-filter removed showing the HEPA filter. 4 - HEPA filter face down showing the activated charcoal backside as well as the air intake fan. 5 - quick photo of the back side pre-filter (compare to #2) I also included a video of basic operation. The default mode of the unit is an 'auto' setting that an infrared sensor to detect air quality. As quality worsens, the fan spins up - and vice versa. While fluctuations do happen, it typically runs around 6 or 7 which is nearly silent but still moving air well. We placed it my sons room to help fight his allergies while he sleeps. So far it has been great though if you're looking for this to double as a sound machine - unless you manually override, it's quite quiet. This is hardly a downside, just an observation. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to filter air.
