Order your cane and you can trust that you get what you pay for. I am a taller man and needed a custom order with a longer and strong cane. They accomadated my request and produced the product exaxtly to my specifications. It was spedifically made in Ukraine and then delived to my home in Utah. I am serious when I say this cane's craftmanship is beautiful and the cane is strong and I am more than pleased with the ability I have to walk now. I fought with myself over needing a cane--I'm too young, I said, I'm not there, yet, I said--but finally I faced the fact that "the old football injury"--which was really a motorcycle incident--was catching up to me in my 70s, and I probably needed a cane when the joints acted up. So I searched and searched. I had requirements: I didn't want one that folded or came apart. This one doesn't. I didn't want one that had a large rubber "contraption" on the end. This one doesn't. When we go out together, it graces me nicely and does its job well, while looking like I try to look myself: classy. The lion on the front of the handle is the perfect finish for this quality piece of artistry-necessity. I haven't regretted one bit the few extra dollars I paid to have the Asterom cane. And the grandchildren already think it's "cool."

This is my second cane from this company. My first was a dragon head, which I love, I love dragons. I get many compliments from people who see it. So I decided to purchase another cane. This one is a gold lioness head. Gorgeous. I am a Leo and had to have it. I recommend this product to everyone. Beautiful cane.

I bought this cane as a gift for a friend and he loves it. He is a man of style, that would not use a metal can or a wooden one, but this wood he likes and he says it's sturdy and eye catchy.

I myself do woodwork (personal home remodeling & furniture refinishing) so I know when something has been built with care and I am Extremely Pleased with my Asterom cane. There is a knee replacement in my future within a few years; and with vacations on the horizon I have lots of walking to survive. I realized a cane would help me keep up with the family. I'm a burly 6'1", not yet retirement age guy, so I knew I needed something sturdy for my size. I also knew that if I have to use a cane, that I wanted something of an artwork quality that could be admired as well as be conversation piece. If i'm gonna carry a cane; then I want to have fun with it. Asterom really delivered on all my expectations. The cane is very solid and beautifully finished. I got the Celtic Bear handle and it is also exquisitely made. This is a rich high quality product and I couldn't be more pleased. Chunk of wood fell of the handle. I like the quality just got a bad piece of wood. Going to glue it and move on, Very please with the cane and would recommend to others well make.

This is a mid-weight, solid Ukraine oak cane with a heavy metal flourish in the form of a crowned, roaring lion’s head. Exquisite details. Quite lovely and I suspect, given proper care, long lasting. Remember: a cane is meant to equalize your balance, not hold up your full weight. Canes which fail/break are usually the fault of the user, not the instrument itself.

My Dad invested in this cane. It looks fab in person,the lions head isn't too big and showy.the handle is lovely to hold. He is very impressed with the quality of the wood,rich colour and solid.
