my review of the razor viper v3 pro
now for my background, i play r6 and csgo, and occasionally roblox shooters. i went from originally a 60g razer orochi v2 using a fingertip grip, and i went to this mouse with a traditional claw. i’ve had this mouse for a few months and i can say that this is a very good and universal shape for all sorts of grips. i have a medium size hand and i can comfortably fingertip and claw this mouse. the coating is lovely and the best i’ve personally felt on a mouse, and i tried the grips but they eventually wear out over time so i don’t recommend using those (the actual mouse texture is better than the grips anyway). now i know this sounds a little ridiculous but moving from a 60g small mouse not even including the batteries, i played a LOT better with this bigger one after adjusting and i’m honestly happy with my purchase (even though it cost quite a bit). it feels light in the hand for the size and the weight is flawlessly distributed. the skates are solid for being stock but you can always upgrade, the scroll wheel is pretty normal and has distinctive bumps per scroll but personally i like more smoother ones (i am probably just being nitpicky). the main clicks are lovely to hear and the little dongle included doesn’t take up too much space, i’d say only the actual cable itself does but this isn’t actually an issue. the dongle can also support up to 8k hz which isn’t necessary but it’s a “nice to have” feature and i use 2k hz myself to save battery life; speaking of battery life it’s pretty good and i suggest not using 8k since it drains it pretty fast but it lasts up to a week or two for me with regular use not charging (just remember to plug it in after use) the side buttons are a DEFINITE improvement from my old mouse and that was a perfect feature on the mouse. now, razer’s synapse software can be a little finicky sometimes but i suggest just configuring your settings and uninstalling it since it can take up some of your ram and overall performance. in conclusion, this is a really good option for gaming mice and it can fit a LOT of playstyles. this has all of the latest mouse tech (might be a little outdated for me to be saying that in the big 25 now) and each part of the mouse is very pleasant to use. i suggest this mouse if you have the money (it is pretty ehh value for money but as long as you have the funds it’s a s tier mouse)

Highly recommend for competitive gamers.
(Review from my 15 year old son) Honestly this mouse felt SO much lighter than I thought it would. I just upgraded from the Glorious Model O- Wireless Gaming Mouse, and let me say... the upgrade was WORTH it for sure. I pretty much only play Fortnite on Keyboard and Mouse, and I was having issues with my side buttons on my old mouse. I decided it was time to upgrade since I can't have those issues happening mid-game. The Razer Viper V3 Pro, is definitely a solid upgrade. The side buttons are so much more solid than the side buttons on my old mouse. Not to mention, the response time of the clicks was faster, and the accuracy of my aim with the better sensor was so much better. The scroll wheel is also very responsive and fast which is important for Fortnite. (I was able to easily quad edit in Fortnite when using this new mouse) The wireless connectivity isn't even noticeable at all. The response time is insane for a wireless mouse, and it surprised me a lot. I don't have a lot to say about the battery life yet, as this is my first day using it. I will say though, I charged the mouse to 68%, used it for an hour in Fortnite, and the battery was only 67% afterwards. Here are the few cons I can think of: When switching from whatever mouse you currently use, it will take a few hours or even a day to adjust to the lightness of the mouse. (mainly if you played on heavier mice before) It's not anything with the mouse itself, but just a matter of adjusting to the feel of the new mouse. The mouse comes with some grip tape you can put on the mouse, which honestly looks really cool in my opinion, and it really helps with making sure your aim is as good as it can be, since your hand won't slip off the mouse. (See image) (Note: mouse is charging) Razer also has a good software which allows you to adjust the mouse to match the feel of your old one which is really helpful to make sure you don't have to COMPLETELY start over with learning a sensitivity. Overall a really good mouse, no complaints to be honest.

Expensive, but great mouse.
The Razer Viper V3 has been an excellent mouse for both gaming and everyday use. It feels very lightweight and comfortable in hand, making long sessions easy with no fatigue. The shape is simple but very ergonomic, and it works well for both claw and fingertip grip styles. Performance wise, the sensor is extremely accurate and responsive. Tracking is smooth, clicks feel crisp, and there is no noticeable delay. The wireless connection is stable and reliable, with no lag or dropouts. Battery life has also been great, lasting several days of heavy use without needing frequent charging. Build quality feels solid, and the mouse buttons and scroll wheel all feel well made. Overall, the Viper V3 delivers excellent performance, comfort, and reliability. It is a great choice for anyone looking for a high quality lightweight gaming mouse.

Good claw grip mouse
I had a Logitech superlight and moved to the Viper v3 pro. It was the best decision that I have ever made. The mouse sensor in my opinion is more accurate the Logitech mice. The feel and texture and material of the mouse feels very nice especially the white coating option is phenomenal and has really good grip for a very low amount of weight gain. The size definitely favors mid-big hands and excels in the Claw grip. It isn't the lightest mouse on the market but it still in my opinion is more than light enough for most. The scroll wheel actually feels quite nice and i prefer it over the Logitech one. Though this mouse supports 8k polling I rarely find myself using it as it drains battery too fast, I would just use 4000/2000 if you want a high enough speed with a very long battery life. If you are looking for a high quality claw grip mouse then this is the mouse for you, if you don't have a claw grip I would recommend looking at other mice that might be for you.

Most satisfying mouse I have ever used; full stop.
As someone who loves the Superlight and has been jamming out with version 2 of it along with a Logitech Pro X TKL paired with it, it's been nice to swap back to my Black Widow V4 along with the Viper Pro 3. Right out of the box, and I am someone with medium to large hands, this mouse is just a pure delight to hold; it's not often I can say that my hands feel like they disappear when using a peripheral, but this mouse and the Superlight from Logi are the two mice that achieve that for me. Razer knew what they were doing here and it shows in the product; this will be my go-to mouse and I will alternate my Razer setup back to the Logitech set up as the mood strikes me to change things up week by week. When it comes time for the Wooting 80HE to arrive, I will most likely be pairing the Viper Pro 3 with that board due to just how consistently good it feels; I am 3 hours deep into a play session and the battery is down to 98% and I'm using the 4K polling rate; not going to bother with 8K just yet. It's hard to put into words here just how good the slight ergo shape of this mouse feels; I really have tried a number of different mice and this could be "the one"; I don't say this in a hyperbolic fashion either. It's rare that you use a gaming device where you just forget what you're using because it seamlessly blends into the play session. For anyone looking to try this out, the asking price is steep. For a low frills mouse in the aesthetic department it really isn't going to be winning wards for it's design change to be not as sharp as it's predecessor. I for one really dig the smoother design and the light hump towards the back of the mouse, the finger ridges, or whatever you want to call them, on the L + R mouse clicks, all come together to suit whatever combination of grip you want to employ here. I am using a light palm grip and find that going claw and then relaxing my fingers feel natural. The side buttons deserve a special award here; they are separated ever so slightly and their clicks are immediate / responsive. Truly the only gripe I have with my Superlight are the side buttons; Logitech really needs to take the oatmeal mush out of those and it will be a near perfect mouse for me. Really curious to see what kind of competition this will spur with other manufacturers; that said, and for now, this is the best of the best for something that is here, on Amazon, that you can order and have by tomorrow while it's in stock. To whoever nabs one, enjoy; curious to see other reviews pop up on here.

Best Gaming Mouse for Claw and Fingertip grip
TLDR: Good mouse, great quality for price, beautiful designs, 10/10 The Razer Viper V3 Pro is probably the best gaming mouse hands down. It’s ultra lightweight, feels amazing to move around, and extremely responsive. The clicks are a little on the louder side, the material is smooth and not particularly grippy, so if you prefer grippier mice, there are those grip stickers that you can put on. I have an average adult male sized hand. In terms of what type of grip you use (claw, palm, etc..) this mouse is definitely a claw or fingertip type of mouse. Palm grip doesn’t feel amazing on this mouse since it’s a little small in my opinion. There’s also no “ergonomic” shape like the razer deathadder, so if you’re a claw or fingertip type grip person, this is probably the best mouse on the market you can get. (Please do check measurements to compare with your own hand size) I got the faker edition due to his iconic style, and it’s a beautiful red with a stunning demon art design. Overall it’s a high end mouse with high end performance, the mouse is definitely equal value to the price. For league players out there: I ranked up from Platinum to Emerald after I got this mouse (not saying it does wonders lol)

Light with great battery life
I have had this mouse for about a year now and use it as my daily driver, and I love it. It is really light and glides across the mouse pad. The mouse wheel is not noisy at all and neither is the clicking of the mouse buttons imo. The battery life is good lasting more than a few all day play sessions, and a couple of weeks of light use. It comes with some little adhesive pads that you can place on the mouse which I would recommend using as the mouse is very smooth. My complaints are that the mouse gets clammy feeling after a while. Not a huge deal, but I have thought of buying another adhesive pad to go over the emblem because it gets to feel gross. I do clean it, but this is the only mouse I have ever had this issue with. Also the dongle is kind of a pain if you have OCD, it is hard to get it to lay flat down. Overall I love the mouse and think it is worth the money. I would just recommend buying an adhesive patch (I'm not sure what they are really called) to go over the razer emblem as that part can start to feel gross.

Surprisingly lightweight, good polling rate and no wifi-interference!
So far so good. I was impressed on how light this mouse felt when I used it for the first time. You can definitely feel the extra accuracy when you aim, by that I mean every small movement you make on your mousepad translates exactly as you would expect on the screen. My router and modem are right under my desk and I don't get any interference. I don't open the program that comes with it (synapse) because I used a wired headset with it (razer blackshark v2 X) and I don't want synapse messing the audio settings of my headset since the default option is pretty good. The battery works for a long time; I used it for like 3 consecutive days and when I open synapse to check battery is about 70% (I use 2k polling rate). Clicking sounds satisfying as you would expect from an expensive mouse. Your forearm gets considerably less tired. The side buttons and click buttons have not collected any dust or grime from my hands, unlike my old mouse did.
