Bluesky Gel Nail Polish 10ml, Winter Glow - 80611, Pale Pink

I swapped to bluesky gels from bio sculpture. I was worried they wouldn’t be as good but was really surprised with their quality. They are easy to get hold of and far more reasonably priced. And quicker to apply.For my fingernails I use base coat, lexan gel, hard gel, and top coat along with a white gel for a French manicure finish. For my toes I only use base coat, coloured gel and top coat. I have used the gels directly onto my own nails as well as with nail tips and silk repair tape.I was worried at seeing comments of people’s nails getting hot but realise it’s because they haven’t followed the instructions. Different gels cure for different lengths of time and the website clearly states that nails will get hot if going over these times. The product pages have some information as well as the how to guides under the blog section.As others have said, thin layers are best. The coloured gels are very translucent initially but the second and third layers create a solid colour so don’t panic. The no wipe top gel is thick whereas the top gel which requires wiping is thinner so I’ll be sticking with that one.I haven’t had problems with the gels lifting or cracking on my fingernails. They seem to lift more so on my toenails but that’s often after a soak in the bath. I also know my technique isn’t as good on my toenails as the gels can sometimes run over the nail edge. Definitely something to work on!The only negative for me is that the coloured gels look completely different in reality versus online. I’ve started to mix them together to get the shades I want which isn’t ideal but is better than throwing them away.

I got bashful I am a huge burgundy girl so this is what you should know about this shade of burgundy. It is warm toned and a wee bit on the orange to brown side very autumn and slightly more desaturated than the image. I’ve included direct sunlight and normal images. The quality of the polish itself is very good

This is a beautiful colour - good price for size of bottle so I consider it value for money . Little odour , easy to use and apply - it dries and cures well under uv lamp . It does help to strengthen and grow nails by deterring chewing or protecting from breakage . The one negative about this product is that the liquid is a little bit less thick than others so it takes some getting used to applying it without runs in the nail and it takes more layers to build colour , however this is a minor issue.

Bluesky autumn mini setLeaving a review as I couldn’t find one with all the colours shown in one place.These are the usual long wearing, vibrant quality you expect from Bluesky. I would say they’re true to the colour seen online, lovely autumn colours, the green is a little thin and needs three coats rather than two.Cured under UV/LED for 90 seconds each coat. I used OPI top and base coats but I find the Bluesky ones just as good. Use a primer too, makes all the difference in longevity.Highly recommend, and I use Halo and OPI besides this brand, Bluesky is a good one and up there with the best.

I buy so many bluesky polishes, that I dont usually leave reviews for them but when I tried this colour for the first time, I just couldn't resist!Its often difficult to chose a shade online, especially from bluesky as the colour inside is not always true to what's shown on the outside of the bottle, I purchased this as I thought it would be a really nice shade for the summer - autumn transition. To me, this shade of coral pink sums up summer beautifully. It is not like the photo here. It's a stunning light pink coral and rather bright.Actually, it's so much better than pictured! I would have bought it sooner if I had known, it would not have hung around in my basket for so long, that is for sure!! :o)If you've not used bluesky before, I can really recommend it. I was a little wary to start with as it's priced so much cheaper than CND shellac, usually you get what you pay for but in this instance, I've found this not to be the case!!Now, Im not so great at doing my nails, I try to put a good amount of effort into nail preparation and take my time while painting them, being as careful as I can (You can probably see in my photo my level of nail painting skills!!) and even with my ability (or lack of) generally I find these gel colours last around 2 weeks.I like to use 3 coats so it's a little thicker.This depends of course, 2 weeks is if I resist picking at them when bored/stressed, if I remember to wear my gloves while doing the washing up and do nothing too hands on. Sometimes after two weeks I can get away with filing the ends, buffing off the shine and the ridge at the bottom and quickly go back over them again too alongside filling in the re-growth, to make them last another further week or so.

I'm a DIY gel nail girl. My applicatiom isn't perfect and I feared I was going to damage my cuticles as I had to do my nails regularly because I had chipping etc.Well not with this Bluesky gel polish. It applied nicely and needed two coats. The brush was nice and easy to control around the cuticle area and it cured well.Now, 4 weeks on the polish is still in tact and shows no sign of lifting. There is a bit of dulling to the top coat and I feel the colour has faded around my cuticle area but I have been applying oil to rescue my crispy cuticles from my own novice process and general wear and tear from washing up without gloves etcThe colour is a nice dark purple/almost black depending on how many layers.I will definitely be buying Bluesky polish again.

Très belle couleur, longue tenue et belle texture, je recommande pour cette couleur mais le résultat n’est pas le même dans toute les couleurs !

Normalissimo smalto gel, ben pigmentato e si stende senza problemi.

Das ist mal wieder ein typisches Beispiel von Shellac, dass die Farbe nicht das geringste mit der Abbildung zu tun hat.

War sehr schnell da ! Ist aber eher orange, mir gefällt es ! Habe Naturnägel und es hält sehr gut

Tolle Farbe! 1 Punkt Abzug wegen der längeren Lieferzeit ! Die anderen Farben waren wesentlich schneller da. Aber sonst alles super!
