So far so good for my IBS-D
I had a precancerous tumor removed from my intestine 3 years ago and my digestive has been a disaster ever since. I’ve worked with my Gastroenterologist extensively but he wanted to put me on meds that would only treat one or two of the many terrible symptoms I had; gas, bloating, stomach cramps, overactive digestive tract and no meal ever being settled or properly digested in my system. It was to the point where I was afraid to eat. I started with peppermint pills (ibgard) but got minimal results. Someone suggested this product to me. I decided to try the liquid drops so I could ease into it slowly to make sure I didn’t have an allergic or negative reaction to it. I put about an ounce of coconut milk in a glass, drop in the Iberogast and then top it off with about another ounce or so of water to dilute the taste of it. It smells bitter herbal but the coconut milk makes sure I don’t taste it. I started with 5 drops, then 10. I am now using 15-20 for a full meal and 5-10 for a snack. I am still taking peppermint pills along with it but they’re more expensive and would like to stop those. My experience has only been 10 days but I have had nothing but a positive trending response in my gut. Every day I feel more comfortable eating anything I want without fear of being in pain. This was a game changer for me. As someone that likes to travel, I had so much anxiety about what I could eat and where and how many times I might have to run to the bathroom and where the nearest bathroom would be. With Iberogast, I don’t think I’ll have to worry about that anymore.

Takes a few weeks to be effective but works
After finally getting a diagnosis of gastroparesis my GI doc recommended trying Iberogast. I've been taking it for a month now and am feeling quite a bit better. Cured? No. A whole lot better? You bet. You won't get immediate results so don't expect it to work like an antacid helps to knock down a heartburn attack. Be patient. I admit that the flavor is pretty awful - I'd describe it as spoiled bourbon. But it's down in a quick swallow. Using it before each meal works well but at 60 drops every day it gets pricey. Overall, this has made a big difference in the way I feel and process the food I eat.

Good Product, Helps Control Gastric Issues
This stuff really works. I've been using it for a while now and I have found that it has helped me to control my acid reflux as well, or better, than some OTC products. I take a dose in the morning and in the evening and it has helped me out. It has an herbal taste, not unpleasant, and I find it works well in just water. I also take it on occasion if I ate an extra spicy meal and getting some...impacts from that. Helps to tamp that down. Overall, I'd recommend it if you are dealing with acid issues or some mild gastric urps and such. It's not going to solve all the problems, but if you are looking for an herbal assist for your stomach issues, give it a go.
