I used to own the product this is similar to (the original when it first came out) and it was great, but unfortunately developed a weird noise issue and died for no apparent reason. I did not want to spend hundreds to replace it, most definitely did not want a subscription, and truthfully I primarily use it for its white noise feature to sleep, only occasionally for alarms. I was pleasantly surprised by this clock. It feels very lightweight and somewhat cheap to handle but I didn’t see any defects and it looks expensive. Being lightweight is probably a pro for some. I personally find it way more attractive than the clock it replaced. The speakers are also surprisingly decent quality (I tried and returned another similar clock that sounded awful) and I love the white noise. I also love that I was able to completely turn off the clock screen at all times, and it is dimmable is you wish to have the time displayed at all times. And even if it dies a year in, considering the price, I’d still be satisfied with its performance.

My daughter loves this She loves all the different sleep sounds The quality of the alarm clock is great It is a perfect size and has a decent weight to it (not lightweight or cheap feeling) She loves the sunrise feature on the alarm There is a little bit of a learning curve to get it to work properly but it is easy to use one you take the time to figure it out. All in all it is great and I'm so glad I got it for her!

My biggest issue with the clock is the lack of alarm choices. The alarm/sunrise is the biggest reason I wanted to get a clock like this but there are only 5 alarm choices. On top of that all of the peaceful ones involve birds. There is a really good one that starts off great but then the birds come in. It’s just not enough choice. The machine has 20 sounds- I wish they could use them all as alarms. Even worse I thought they did. If you ask the AI feature above the review section how many alarm sounds there are it says “ The HOUSBAY Sunrise Alarm Clock has 20 different soothing alarm sounds to wake you up gently”. If that was true I would have kept this item. It is smaller than other options I have looked at but it would have served its purpose.

I don't do reviews ever but this alarm clock is so wonderful I'm making an exception. We don't even use the sound machine. The light by itself wakes us up gently without an obnoxious beeping or buzzing jolting us awake. You can set it to start getting light gradually for 5 to 30 minutes before it reaches full brightness and it turns off automatically after 30 minutes. If you rise at the same time every day you just set it and forget it. It was easy to set up and there are many options to choose from. We sleep in a pitch black room so it is a pleasure to be awakened by this awesome Sunrise light.

Best alarm clock I’ve ever used. Good selection of white noise. I like that I can dim the time at night. Don’t like waking to loud noise, use the “wake to natural light” feature.

Received as a gift for Christmas, not even a month in and the colors already don’t work.

It's the right idea but so confusing to use. Really too bad that the functionality wasn't easier, feel as if I have to reference the manual every 3 days to remember all the variation of buttons that need pushing.

Just splurge and get the more expensive brand. No Bluetooth functionality. Hard to set up. Sounds are not high quality
