51mm Bottomless Portafilter for DeLonghi ECP/BCO/EC Series (2 Ears), 304 Stainless Steel Naked Handle with Double Shot Basket for Channeling Diagnosis & Crema Upgrade

The portafilter comes with a very nice wooden handle that feels great in the hand. The weight and chrome finish look and feel high-quality. The basket does its job well. I’ve never used specialized baskets, so I can't make a direct comparison, but I can say I’ve never had issues with channeling when using the correct grind settings for my machine. It fits better than the stock filter that comes with the De'Longhi ECP 3420. Given the price, it’s a solid buy.

Works perfectly with my delonghi stilosa machine. The material is very high quality, and the bottom has nice fine holes which don’t allow grounds to fall through. Pair it with basically any 51 mm tamper and you have perfect shots. Since the material is a nice steel, the grounds slide right out and all you really need to do is clean them with a paper towel. Very easy to use and very easy to clean

Seems to work as intended. I'm still working on getting proper shots pulled but I think the major of my issue is needing a better grinder and some user error. Initially it felt a little tight when using but I was adding too much coffee and it is much smoother after a few uses

Pretty solid portafilter. I read in previous comments that the brand name was placed very conspicuously on the handle, but it seems they took heed and decided to put the brand much smaller on the neck above the handle, so good on them for taking feedback into account. I've been using it for about 8 months and it's been working well for the most part. It works well with the basket it comes with but when I switched to an IMS basket, it can get stuck in the group head (DeLonghi ECP) when you take the portafilter off, which is just a minor inconvenience. Overall a good value when used in its entirety!

Bought this for our $100 DeLonghi espresso machine and have been shocked at the impact and improvement. We have been brewing espresso with the stock portafilter and pressurized basket for about 4 years. We played around with a finer grind size and can’t believe how much better the output is from this portafilter vs the stock one. Other reviews on here about messy cleanup and watery discharge seem like user error is possible. I also should note, we also chose to spend money on a premium grinder—which I strongly recommend, but its not required. You do need a decent grinder for espresso. We were considering purchasing an “upgraded” espresso machine, but now…we are going to enjoy the impact of this $30 portafilter and the delicious espresso it produces.

Amazing quality. Full stainless steel with removable hardwood handle. Huge upgrade from the original cast aluminum one that came with my machine. 100% recommend this bottomless portafilter.

Fits perfectly. The only reason for taking away one star is that you have to watch because it will come loose and turn. Knowing this I just make sure I hold the basket so it doesn't spill over if the handles becomes lose. Other than that it's nicely made it's got a nice weight and the handle is ergonomic.

Bon design bonne qualité et bonne taille 51mm. Mais mon café est trop liquide même avec des grains lavazza crema... j'ai essayé plusieurs qualités de moulures rien n'y fait, le porte filtre original Delonghi donne de meilleurs résultats.
