Amazing quality at this price point! Rear cam may be a 1st gen Starvis, not sure...
I'm shocked at the quality at this price point. I paid $130. The software interface is top notch! They even included an icon on the playback screen to select between front and rear views when playing back a file! -so you don't need to manually search for the corresponding file for the opposing camera. Very nice attention to detail on the software interface! The front camera appears to be a 2nd generation Starvis, the rear cam appears to be a 1st generation Starvis. The angle of view on the rear cam is very wide, however the rear cam image does get cropped a little in full screen mode. This is regrettable because a wider image would show more of what is behind you and is safer than the slightly cropped view. Even with the slight crop the rear image is still very wide. The rear cam cropping is evident when switching between the shared side by side view vs full screen view. The front cam is not cropped when in full screen mode. At night rear camera has a lot of grain, but still has very good detail. This may seem like a flaw but I think they designed the image processing this way intentionally. The image processing is squeezing out the maximum possible detail in the dark areas of the image give all the visual information possible. Good job in my opinion! Speed and clock displays are small and not distracting from the camera picture. The bottom button conveniently turns off/on only the display screen, but keeps the unit in record mode. This is the ideal use for this button. Here's why: if you have a toggle switch to select power either from accessory position (to record only while key is on) and battery direct(to always record even when key is off). You can easily keep the unit powered up and in record while turning off the display with one button press. This creates a surveillance mode without having to by the additional hardwire kit. The physical display width allows me to use my sun visor normally. Other models are too wide and impede the sun visor. Everything works extremely well! I do wish they offered a 2nd gen Starvis rear cam though... I had a Pormido rear view dash cam for 6 years prior to the Jomise. The old Pormido was excellent. I used a SKDW SQ-12 rear view dash cam for 1 month, the cameras are better (both Starvis 2nd gen) but the software, image processing, and interface are terrible and buggy. -Avoid SKDW!

High quality over the rearview mirror dash cam
I was looking for a dual channel camera with great picture quality that could replace an older Taotronics dashcam I had suction cupped to windshield. I wanted something that didn't rely on suction cups (the heat kept causing my dashcam to fall off the windshield) to free up some windshield real-estate - Easy enough to install; The length of cable to reach the rear camera (mounted inside) is pretty generous. I had to hide quite a lot of it under the headliner to prevent any hanging - Great picture quality for both front and back cameras; very clear image both ways, and easily adjustable viewing angles - Interface is straightforward and easy to use; very simple swipe gestures to quickly display one or both cameras. Interface it review videos is also very clear - Really like the one touch button to turn off display and use camera as regular rearview mirror - GPS feature has, so far, displayed direction and speed pretty accurately - GPS dongle also has a generous length of cord and hide a substantial amount under the headliner with it mounted toward the top of my windshield A couple of things I noticed about this style of dash cam that anyone on the fence may want to consider: Using the rear camera as your rearview mirror can be a bit off-putting(I'm still getting used to it). Due to the wide angle I sometimes just find it easier to turn off the camera and use it as a regular mirror. When glancing at the camera while it's on, you'll still see the reflection in the screen, so it can be a bit jarring trying to quickly focus on what's behind you. The screen itself, while it can function as a standard mirror, isn't a proper mirror, so the reflection will have a darker tint. Not a big deal during the day, but you could argue its not the best use case a night. Also take note of the length of the camera vs the length of your car's rear view mirror. I didn't measure and have a bit of the mirror showing out from behind one end of the dashcam. Not a big deal as I don't notice it from my viewing angle, but worth noting if you're someone who might. Haven't had a negative experience with it yet. So far the only feature I wish it had was Wifi so that I might easily access recorded clips from my phone.

Good product except night vision blurred on rear camera
I returned it, I had ordered USB type C power adapter and piggy back to fuse box. You would think that should work but it doesn’t. I had contact tech support and they said it’s not all usb-c will work and they said they would send me one. I waited for two weeks and didn’t receive it. So I returned it. Beware that I couldn’t get the parking mode or accident locks working. I try to shake the car while it’s running or in parking and no locking at all. Update, the company is offering me a freebie of this product with USBC power HW kit. They would like me to give them a chance to try out again. Unfortunately I ordered different dashcam with power HW kit. I would said the product is good accepted there is no link for USBC power kits. Maybe that is why my dashcam never worked properly. The company sent me a new dashcam with hw kit. They want me to try it out. The hw kit fuse fittings does not come with different fuses types or piggyback connectors. I will order piggyback fuse connectors to try out parking mode later. I installed on my truck and the dashcam works great in day time. But the night vision is blurred. Not sure is this cause by only 1080 quality or tent window.

Revolutionary upgrade that transformed my driving experience completely!
This G814 11-inch 4K rear view mirror camera has been an absolute game-changer for my daily driving and peace of mind - the quality is exceptional with crisp 4K resolution that captures incredibly clear footage both front and rear, far superior to my old traditional dash cam setup, and the build quality feels premium and durable enough to handle daily use and temperature changes in my car. The functionality is phenomenal as the large 11-inch mirror display gives me a crystal-clear view of what's behind me without any blind spots, while simultaneously recording everything in stunning detail for insurance protection, and I love that it doesn't require WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity which means no connectivity issues or complicated app setup that always seems to fail when you need it most. It looks great with its sleek mirror design that seamlessly replaces my original rear view mirror without looking like an obvious aftermarket addition, and the intuitive touch controls make adjusting settings or reviewing footage incredibly simple even while driving. At this price point, it's amazing value considering you're getting both a premium backup camera system and a high-quality dash cam in one elegant package - this has already saved me from a potential accident when someone backed into a parking space I was approaching, and knowing I have 4K evidence of everything happening around my car gives me incredible confidence and protection that's worth far more than what I paid for this incredible piece of technology.

My 1st Dash cam, pretty good product (update)
Screen is good, the rear camera takes some getting used to. I had to scroll it down so I could see closer to the rear of my vehicle. Note, I have a backup camera, so I'm not using that feature. Not their fault, but the hardwire kit was a P.I.A. for my vehicle, the fuse panel is in an extra hard location to reach. I gave up for now, but need to install it to free up my lighter outlet for other purposes. Therefore I'm also not using the 24 hour parking monitor yet. (Update) I paid my mechanic to do it, it took them awhile as well, to figure out which fuses to use and do to the hard to get to location on my vehicle. Also, my vehicle used a different physical size fuse that what came with the hardwire kit, so they had to cut the end off and find an adapter. Note, my mechanic liked it so much, he bought one. Also, my Brother Inlaw bought one after seeing mine and my wife wanted one for her vehicle. (But with the 3rd interior camera for watching what is going on in the back seat.) Overall I like it. I did suggest some improvements. My mirror factory mirror is really thick, it has the Compass reading on the mirror and has the auto day/night feature. This caused issues with mounting. 1. The rubber straps should be replaced with velcro that tighten through a loop on the other side. This would allow for better fit on larger mirrors and also hold up better. I expect at some point the rubber ones will dry up and break. 2. The camera will record a max of 3 minutes, no matter how big of a memory card you have. I would like to see a lot longer recording time if the user upgrades the card. Example someone break checking you multiple times, road rage where someone is chasing you for several miles, etc. (Update) I've found this isn't a problem, it keeps a LOT of 3 minute videos, so you will still have the storage time and it will be incremented, instead of scrolling through 1 long video. I did notice I hit a pothole and I believe it Saved that as a crash event. I need to look at the card. Note, there is a sensitivity adjustment for how the impacts are recorded. Due to the updates, and figuring things out, I have changed this from 4 to 5 stars.

Good while it lasted
Purchased this camera last year and have had it for about 7-8 months and had it installed in my 2016 Toyota Highlander which has the rear view mirror with what I guess is a dimming feature?. When I had it installed, the width of the camera unit was just a tad bit short and I had to purchase a separate mount/adapter which pushed the camera unit out and away a bit from the rear view mirror to where I was able to slide the adjustable camera out a bit to get it to work. I also purchased the hardwire kit which was purchased through a differnt seller. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong kit so i had to return that one and wait for it. Just to get this installed It took about a little over a week because the need to order the mount/adapater and having to get a replacement for the correct hardwire kit. After having it installed, everything worked pretty well. The functionality, the touch screen response, the picture/video/audio quality, and image quality of the mirror from the unit when the camera is turned off was all good quality. The unit itself looked to be very sturdy and made well. One of the issues I experienced was that the unit seemed to be draining my battery somehow. This was true whether the unit was on standby mode (camera video/image on unit off but still on and recording) or being fully turned off. When having to fully turn it off, it essentially reset the unit and all your previous settings would need to be set. I'm sure this wasnt supposed to be that way and had a couple of my buddies who know car video and audio pretty well and they couldnt figure out why it was draining the battery. And I know that the camera is the cause of my battery being drained because when it was fully unplugged, my car battery wouldnt die after a day or two and not being used. Nevertheless, to play it safe, I would just shut the camera off and unplug the power and plug it back in and turn it back on when driving. Now, just the other day, out of nowhere the video footage started acting weird. There are lines that would come and go or would travel sideways across the screen that has no shown up. The camera was working just fine the day before and then the next morning this is what I am seeing. I know for a fact that I didnt hit it or use/touch it in any way that would cause this to happen. I checked the unit itself and found no signs of damage that could explain it. I tried turning it off and on still the same thing. Now the camera would just turn on and off randomly while driving. At this point, I have just unplugged it and am using it as a rearview mirror until I am able to get the OEM mirrir out of storage or until I am able to find a dependable replacement. I would say this is a good and cheap option if on a budget but would recommend purchasing something else that may be of higher cost but know that it is depenable. If you purcahsed this, I would recommend purchasing the insurance for it so you can easily replace it. I messed up and failed to purchase that insurance, thinking it would last longer than it did and now I'm paying the price :(

Very clear video and easy to install dash cam!!.
I installed the JOMISE T860+ mirror dash cam in my car and so far I’m really impressed with it. The front 4K camera quality is super clear, you can easily read license plates even when driving fast. The rear 2.5K camera also looks sharp and the 3X zoom feature is very useful when checking traffic behind. One thing I really liked is the detached front camera, it made the install much easier and faster. Took me around 10 minutes only. The mirror screen is big and bright, works great both day and night. Night vision and WDR actually help a lot, specially when driving in low light or rain. The 64GB card included is a nice bonus, didn’t have to buy extra memory. Parking assist lines are accurate and GPS tracking works fine, shows speed and location correctly.

Happy Happy Happy!
I can definitely recommend this G814 model from JOMISE. I've had it up and running for a couple of months. Nothing is perfect and we all wish a device would do this or that. But overall, I believe this unit covers the majority of features desired by users plus some others that we didn't even know we needed. And I found the price to be fair and competitive. I wanted just a few things from a dashcam -- a 4K resolution, a rear camera, a looping data card, and a unit that would attach to my current mirror. My previous dashcam attached to the windshield but the Texas summer heat fried it. So, I needed something that was away from the glass and a mirror replacement unit was ideal. I installed this in a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ. The rubber straps used to hold the dashcam in place weren't long enough for me. I was expecting one end to snap at any moment. I searched for longer straps online but couldn't find anything. Luckily, JOMISE provides us with four (4) total straps -- two shorter & two longer. So I simply used a little twist tie to join one of each. Violà -- success. I bought a 128GB SDMicro card since it was the maximum amount of storage allowed. I'm looping at 5-minute intervals but also want to store as much as possible at any given time. For awhile, I simply ran it using the charger cable. But with my charging ports, it required me to unplug it every time I wanted to turn it off. So, I soon opted to install the hardwire kit into my fuse panel. This was my plan all along anyway. The yellow and red wires both have fuses attached. Unfortunately, I didn't have open connection slots to use in my fuse panel. So I purchased piggyback add-a-fuse wire connections, cut the fuses off of the wiring provided by JOMISE, and eventually connected the wiring with crimped bullet connections. I'm not the most knowledgeable about such things but figured out how to do it properly with a handful of online searches and video tutorials. Now the dashcam turns on/off with my ignition. And I assume the 24 Parking Monitor is now active. I turned it on in the Settings but haven't had the opportunity to test it. I found it very helpful that the front camera can be physically moved around a bit in order to line up what you want recorded. As for the rear camera, it's also helpful that you can simply drag the view (in your mirror) up/down. The rear camera doesn't physically move of course and still records everything in one large video. But it allows you to see exactly the angle that you want to see. By the way, don't forget to remove the blue film covers that protect both the front and rear camera lenses during shipping etc. I forgot to take it off the front camera at first and everything was a muted blue color. Whoops. :) The video clarity on the device is really good. And I have no issues with the downloaded video either. By the way, it's not in the Settings but you can turn on/off the time/date stamp simply by touching it on the screen. At this time, I've opted to install the rear camera inside the back window. I didn't feel like running the wire through my tailgate in order to mount it outside ... not without first knowing that everything will work as I need it to. In the future I may run it outside but only because the rear camera view is very dark at night due to my factory window tint. Then again, I don't personally need to see too much out the back other than where cars are located (via headlights). And I'm not really sure how much it would improve with an external mount. One thing that isn't quite ideal is what you see in the mirror from the rear camera. Everything looks much farther away than it actually is; objects in mirror are definitely closer than they appear. It's quite an adjustment because while it looks like you have plenty of room between you and a vehicle behind you, you really need to check your side mirrors etc before changing lanes or you might cut someone off. I wish the rear view in the mirror had a zoom feature to accommodate for this but it doesn't. Supposedly that feature may be part of future products from JOMISE. There's also quite a bit of reflection in the mirror during the daytime. I'm pretty sure that's going to happen for any mirror device that shows video because it's not a normal mirror surface. So I've asked for an Anti-Glare Film cover from JOMISE. It's likely their B09PFVNXD5. Hopefully it'll help once I get it in place. Some folks like it and some don't. But I think it really just depends on whether or not you want to use the dashcam as an actual mirror or if you want to view the rear camera feed. Duh, the Anti-Glare Film is for those who want video. I've also heard it may be a little difficult to apply and that there aren't any instructions (in English at least). There may be some question as to which side is which; will have to wait and see. One other little thing I've noticed is that every once in awhile the image shown upon starting my vehicle is the front camera view instead of the rear (which I have as the default in Settings); a small glitch but the only way to get it corrected is to turn my vehicle off and back on. The GPS software (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jG0sML5IQNpj4lSMa79t6C9AsG_Nl2jm) available isn't the best but it does the job. I'm sure some people may find it useful. For me, it's really just an extra thing to play with if and when. But I'm glad to have it available. Personally, I haven't hooked up the GPS attachment for the dashcam simply because it's not something I feel I need and/or will use. But still, it's nice to have the option. What features would I like to see added? The only things that really come to mind are a WiFi app for video download/sharing and a rear camera zoom setting. But like I said, we can't have everything. And I'm okay with that. And finally, I found the customer service from JOMISE to be extremely accommodating if not downright generous! After reading questions and reviews from others, I contacted JOMISE by email after purchasing the dashcam and requested both the hardwire kit (B09MQN96L1) and the extra long 33ft rear camera cable (B095SLGVMM). Once I provided proof of purchase, they shipped them to me for free; no cost whatsoever. That's fantastic! I also requested and received a PDF version of the manual as it's a) easier to read and b) I like to keep digital files of such supporting documentation. Next up, they're going to send me the Anti-Glare Film cover. JOMISE -- I am a fan. Thank you!

Just what I wanted
Having recently been the victim of a 'crash for cash' incident, I knew that I needed something which would help to protect my insurance! This mirror dash cam is excellent quality and gives very clear daylight video feeds. To set up it takes next to no time and all you need to do is to install a SD card to record any issues. I wanted to hide the wiring so tucked them behind the trim... I had already got plastic panel tools so no scratching of my trim and easily fitted. There is an anti glare film available and I would advise getting it for the mirror as this can be a little disconcerting, however, having seen a friend's more expensive version of this product from another manufacturer, it appears that this is a common issue and not specific to this product so I have not held this against this product. Overall, very impressed and I look forward to downloading issues should they occur!

Okay, but not happy
It works fine, but front camera doesn't seems like 4K & Stavis 2 compared to my Xiaomi 70Mai dashcam with same Stavis 2. I found rear camera footage is actually better quality than front. Both camera footage looks like 1080p not 4K or 2.5K. Also there is no wifi or mobile phone connectivity to check file wirelessly. You have to remove TF card every time you need to check a footage like 10 years old dash cam. It works, but not really satisfied.

Customer Support *Updated*
The product is amazing and I can’t complain about anything. The rear camera can even see through my 5% tints (at night it’s difficult but I have very dark tints so not surprised about that), so i’m happy it can do that. I was glad to see that the reviews of their customer support was very good and that they always helped. My first email I got a response that confirmed the hardwire kit I bought is not compatible and they offered to refund my purchase of another hardwire kit that they recommended, they didn’t need to buy it for me but they did - all in all much better customer support than most companies. Sometimes the reply times vary, but regardless they were very helpful in the end!

Not a good rear view mirror
Good idea but not good as a rear view mirror especially if the sun is behind you shining on the camera I removed mine after three days unfortunately

Fantastic value for money
The best dash camera we ever bought, the function is excellent, the quality of pictures is clear. The camera capture both front and rear, which can both display on the screen or just the rear, also can adjust the angle of the view. The picture quality can goes up to 4k, which super clear and captured everything.
