Should you buy - AbsolutelyShould you fit the fan on your own - May be or preferably call a good electrician. Remember, you need to disconnect the previous regulator from this BLDC fan.Does it last long - May not be as the normal (induction motor) fans work. This is a PCB (electronic - Chip based) based device and need to be handled well and then it could last longer. The normal fans also degrade in functionality over time.Does the fan rattle or create sound - Absolutely not if fitted well.Remote Functions - Best part is it has timer and you could use it to save electricity. (One use case - Want to get up early and leave bed for jogging, fan can be a big problem. Set a timer and make sure that fan stops half an hour before you want to get up and the inertia of getting from bed will be lower)Expensive - Slightly but comes with convenience.Airflow - Absolutely amazingExtended Warranty - I did buy as this is a PCB based device and extra Rs. 400 would give me peace of mind for 2 years. This is optional.Looks - Rich and premium. I preferred white / Ivory as all the fans at home are white.Lastly, remember that the pin provided by Havells is inserted in the screws (applies to all fans) while installing. Else it might fall down.

​I purchased this Havells BLDC Fan in Oct'25 expecting reliability and prompt customer support, but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.​The fan developed an issue within 7 months and I logged an official complaint with Havells customer care on August 7th. Since then, it has been over 10 days of non-stop follow-ups with absolutely ZERO ground-level resolution.​Here is how Havells handles customer support:​Broken Promises: Technicians call, promise to visit within an hour or on a specific date, and then simply don't show up.​Ignored Communication: Technicians collect your address and photos on WhatsApp and then stop answering calls completely.​Useless Escalations: I escalated the issue to customer care multiple times and even spoke directly with the Escalation Desk, where I was explicitly promised a resolution within 24 hours. Days passed, and nothing happened - even the Grievance Officer's intervention failed to produce a technician visit.​As someone who uses multiple Havells products (including an air fryer and electric kettle), I am deeply disappointed by their complete apathy toward existing customers. A good product is meaningless if the brand abandons you the moment it needs service.​Verdict: Do not buy if you expect reliable customer service or warranty support after purchase.

The speed is great and airflow is great. Has been a month since use didn't show any problem. Remote is also is great but the mode signs don't match as their work are. The problem was just the logos on remote nothing else

Very good fan i am regret bcz i want to order one more fan but price was hike

The fan is very wobbly and unstable when running at low and high speeds both.The soundless claim is very false as this makes as much sound as a non BLDC fan when running.

The fan stopped working, and what followed was an even worse experience with Havells' customer support.The most shocking part was the disrespectful behaviour of the customer service team. When elderly family members contacted customer support to enquire about the warranty and seek assistance, the agents were laughing instead of helping them. Watching senior citizens be treated with such disregard and disrespect was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. Customers contact support expecting solutions and basic courtesy, not to be mocked while trying to resolve a genuine issue.To make matters worse, we have been waiting for replacement parts for several months with no resolution. The mechanic assigned to the case doesn't even know when the required parts will be available. There has been no clear communication, no accountability, and no sense of urgency from Havells despite repeated follow-ups.A faulty product can sometimes be forgiven if a company stands behind it and supports its customers. Unfortunately, the combination of a non-working fan, months of delays, and the disrespectful treatment of elderly customers has made this one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had.Completely waste of money. Avoid if you value reliable after-sales support and respectful customer service.
