What is the difference between the fv-05-11vks2 and the fv-05-11vk2?

Anyone’s fan making a lot more noise and running rougher than it should? Any suggestions?

Can this be installed on a new construction vaulted ceiling?

The unit is designed in such a way that it should accommodate some slant in it's mounted position. The biggest concern is the proper operation of the backdraft flap as it relies on gravity to close when the fan is not running. I do not know if an off angle on the fan shaft would be a problem with uneven and accelerated wear on the bearing.

We just turned on the new fv-0511vks2 and it takes about 4-5 seconds to turn on. is that normal? lowest setting?

Yes, it's normal. Takes about 4 minutes and then it starts! Runs so quiet and takes care of shower steam quickly!!!
