MeacoDry Arete® One 10L Warm Pebble Dual Dehumidifier & HEPA Air Purifier

I've been using my dehumidifier for about a year now, and it's been fantastic quality. It collects water so nicely, and it really makes drying clothes so much easier. Honestly, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's made a noticeable difference in my home. The capacity is great, and it's not too noisy either. I can definitely recommend this if you're looking for a reliable unit. It's been a game-changer for dampness. Definitely a worthwhile investment!

We bought this when our black+decker dehumidifier broke and we've used it all year round for 2/3 years. It is one of the best purchases we have ever made.It is really easy to set up comes with wheels to put on however if you have carpets you can leave them off. There is a handle which helps with manoeuvrability if you can't roll on hard floors. There is an air filter on the back which you dont notice when your in the room but notice when you clean it with your hoover. It is quite large in size and large in capacity at 10L and isn't the best looking so will need a dedicated storage space however as stated can be rolled or picked up.There are multiple functions, clothes drying which runs until clothes would be dry. This is the function we use the most and can dry a load of washing in up to 6 hours quicker if the heating is on. As this works better when it is hot. Another function is humudity where you can set the humidity you would like it to be and it will get to that number. Finally there is night mode where it sporadically comes on throughout the night - it is so quite compared to our old dehumidifier you will barely notice it. To get rid of the water there a large pull out tray that you take out the machine and you can pour it down the sink, toilet, bath, shower, plants you name it. I have not used this feature but you can connect with a hose and feed the humid water elsewhere (not entirely sure how this works). They also offer a fantastic warranty period on the product.Overall great product and great craftsmanship, if I needed another I would buy it in a heartbeat.

This 10L model is the smallest of the range suitable for smaller homes or bungalows. Well made and designed and very effective even after only one days use. Helps reduce condensation on windows overnight when cold outside. My only comment would be that it is a bit noisier than expected, whilst not a problem during the day not sure I would want it running all night I would probably find it disturbing. There is a night function which is quieter but for me not quiet enough! I run it for several hours each day and it works very well but not overnight and still effective. After a few hours the air in the home seems fresher and easier to breath. It certainly reduces the moisture in the air and very effective. Highly recommended but just be aware of the fan noise.

We replaced our previous 1l dehumidifier with this one and couldn’t be happier! It looks sleek, is compact, and very easy to operate. Within a short time of running it, we noticed a significant drop in humidity in both our bedroom and hallway (it has a built in humidity sensor but we also have an external sensor). A problem we’d struggled with for a long time was heavy condensation on the windows and this has been virtually eliminated.It’s also made a huge difference when drying washing indoors, which now dries much more quickly. The sleep mode is a great feature, allowing us to run it quietly overnight without disturbance (although it isn’t completely silent, it’s similar noise having a fan running).Overall, this dehumidifier has made a noticeable improvement to our home environment and we’d highly recommend it!

Had it a couple of months. It does a good job. Wish it was quieter but for the price you know what you are getting.It's decent. I'd recommend.It's not WiFi, but you can set at 55 and it does a nice job, keeping the bedroom ambient, on and off. As for running costs, I don't look at the smart meters any more as it's more stressful than it's worth.

Can dry up 100 cubic meters with no hassles. Especially cleared my studio out of wood lices, silverfishes, damp flies and even spiders. HEPA H13 filter can even filter out foul odours as well as the spores and fine dust. There are plenty of new HEPA filter replacements available, and can last up to 3 months for each filter. In The last heat wave, it was a life saver when drying laundries inside, minus the pollens settles in our laundries at air drying. And also chills the studio if you directly blow the dry air into your laundry.

I found that whenever I got onto my Elliptical Cross Trainer for an hour or two, my windows would get steamed up. This had led to paintwork damage and mould developing, and would lead to the woodwork being damaged if I didn't do anything about it.So the search was on for a dehumidifier! I would have loved one with some kind of HomeKit or Alexa compatibility but I needed a reliable one. I have everything automated so that when I start an elliptical exercise on my watch then the lights turn off and the Sky Mini Box turns on etc.In the end, I decided on the MeacoDry Arete One 10L. And I couldn't be happier. Meaco are known for Dehumidifiers. This model isn't 'Smart' though, so I use it with a Smart Plug, and now it turns on whenever I start an Elliptical on my watch. Works fine!I understand from research that it is better not to turn off the Dehumidifier immediately after my workout with a routine; the MeacoDry Arete One is designed to just stay on. It likes to run every 30 minutes to measure the humidity, and then run on until it reduces the humidity to the level you set. Once it is at its target humidity, it turns on every 30 mins or so, checks the humidity and if it is happy, then it turns off shortly after.That would then be the best time to power off the Meaco, when it is in a check mode and it isn't processing moisture. In practice, I leave it on a couple of hours or so after my workout and then I power it off from the Smart Plug.In Use:It's relatively quiet. I don't hear it above the huff and puff of me on the Elliptical. If it's on and I'm watching the TV, I'll need to turn the volume up 3 notches. I find that it is on a par with the fan in my room.Efficiency:It's very efficient. Before I bought it, I would work out on the elliptical and after an hour or so, my bay windows are covered in damp. Yay! I was working out, man. Now, I have to have a really intense workout to see any damp on my windows. And then by the end of my workout, I usually don't see any damp. If I notice any damp at all when I've finished my workout, the Meaco clears it within 30 mins or so.I'm on an exercise crusade at this time and I workout for at least two hours a day, and I tend to have to empty the Meaco about once a week. I've had this machine for about two months now and I can't even begin to imagine where all that damp would have gone!A highly recommended machine. I might just need another one for the loft; the on-suite bathroom does get steamed up despite the extractor fan being on.

Bought this a couple of weeks back and so far very impressed with it.I have had to empty it about 5/6 times already ( just me , not included my wife ). It works really well. Although I don't believe the Humidity levels are correct on the device ( it fluctuates too much for it to be accurate ) it still does a pretty good job at taking the humidity out of the room.We use it when we dry the laundry and do the ironing ( family of 5 with 3 teenagers... ) and the laundry dry within 24 hours or overnight ( combined with the central heating ).It does make a noise when on , and it CAN be distracting when there is no other noise in the room. But it's not that bad. It's like having a fan on . I wouldn't run it in a bedroom at night if you like a quiet room to sleep.I guess it will also depend on the type of floor you put it on. Ours is on a wooden floor so the noise would be higher than a concrete floor due to vibrations.Nonetheless it is a very good device so far. Works as intended and even more in our case as we thought it wouldn't do much but it actually does.I'd say for those who want to use it for laundry drying , that it would help when you are in between 2 seasons and it's not cold enough for the central heating to kick in all day, and the weather is too cold/wet to dry outside.Would definitely recommend this dehumidifier so far.Hope it will last us long enough without issues...Did I mention it was also guaranteed for 5 years? No ? Well it is...;-)

L'oggetto è piccolo e compatto.Non è così silenzioso, a mio parere, come descritto.Funziona in modo egregio.

Conforme à la description en ce qui concerne la capacité de deshumidification, il est plutôt efficace. Le design est aussi réussi et les plastiques sont de qualité. Reste que globalement il est extrêmement bruyant (65-70Db en fonctionnement) et par ailleurs le mode nuit ne change absolument rien au bruit contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, juste les témoins lumineux qui s'éteignent ainsi que l'affichage du taux détecté, aucun intérêt. À tout prendre je choisirai une référence plus silencieuse la prochaine fois. Cela reste un produit correct.
