I'm drilling 240 5/8" holes in 1/2" plate and this thing is a beast. The height adjustments are awesome. The built in oiler system could use some improvements but that's the only thing I can complain about..

A great drill for the price. I could not be happier with the product. This is not a precise machinist drill. There are some reviews that it wobbles. This drill worked well for me with straight true holes. It is a commercial grade that works well for construction and rough fabrication. I use mine for steel outboard stands. It drills nice and easy to use.

Bought it love it but has some issues. T h e bits that are with it are not the strongest so I recommend getting better quality. The coolant tank leaks and did not come with the hose luckily I had some as a technician. The drill bit attachment does slip and causes small bit to climb up in the chuck but still drills, Yes I tighten it even with a small cheater pipe and slipped a bit still. Highly recommend the tool just get better bits. The controls are awsome and work great. Magnet is super strong. Can lift up if applying to much pressure but that is user error on my part. Worth the money and then some

I was hesitant on this mag drill. I typically spend the money for American made tools but decided to take the plunge into the world of Vevor with the way things currently are…. I’m impressed. This thing held its own for 90 holes in 1/2” Carbon steel. The magnet held firm on a 24” piece of pipe. If you’ve needed a mag drill, don’t hesitate on this one. It did what I needed.

Money well spent, great drill

I start with five stars... Heavy, really heavy. Very solid construction and powerful drill. Good speed range for my use. Price was nice, maybe not as good as from some other Chinese web order companies, but at least you get a warmer fuzzy with Amazon in case the order goes sideways somehow or somewhere. So, the good news is that this thing rocks when set up on steel and while it is upright. The heaviness of this thing works against it when drilling in any other position. The so-so news (and one star gone) is that the magnet, as strong as it is, just is not a strong as we'd wish when this thing is drilling sideways. I've had to drill (with an annular cutter) a number of 1-1/8" holes in mild steel columns and most worked out OK, but on a few columns (all square tubing columns are identical), the drill base's magnet didn't hold as well and the drill skipped. Maybe a slight non-flatness on the surface I had to drill on caused this? Maybe it was on the welded (although flat) side of the steel? Not sure. Just a little more strength would've saved me a headache or two. (I have not tested drilling upside down. And I hope I never have to!) Last comment and the not-so-good news, after the first two holes were drilled, halfway through the third hole, the drill stopped functioning. Magnet held fine. I was tempted to ship back, but I needed to finish the job. So I proceeded to open this thing up and, lo and behold, found loose screws and wiring screw nuts (yikes!) inside the casing. On inspection I found the (really cheap, but otherwise functional) speed controller circuit board hanging loose. I naturally reapplied and retightening these screws and ALL the other screws that held the speed controller board and the wires, double-checking the wiring, then closing up the case and testing all functions: All was well. But I shouldn't have had to do any of this on a BRAND NEW device. So, yeah, a second star removed. Not good QC. (And please don't try to blame it on the overseas' trip. If that was true, everything we buy would require this sort of repair.)

Seems to work good. Bogs down slightly. Variable speed isn't very necessary, doesn't work so great on lower speeds. Thought it would help. Really doesn't, along with the reverse. But drill works great. Even sideways. Clean metal, thick metal. It won't budge. Some rusty or thin steel, if you go slow it will work. But if you push too hard it will dislodge the magnet. The magnet did not get warm at all, I had it on for minutes at a time drilling holes in a large beam. Used the supplied cutters. Did about 24 holes today. Still going.

il prodotto secondo me è ottimo ad eccezione del mandrino che gira storto ed è quindi da sostituire. Nel mio caso ho misurato uno scarto di 1 decimo di millimetro che è più che accettabile a questo prezzo mentre il mandrino ha uno scarto di circa 8 decimi di millimetro ma si vede anche ad occhio che gira male. spedizione rapida quindi top.

Utilisé pour du perçage en pleine tôle de 2 mm pour des trous de 8mm l électro aimant fait le job il faut quand même dégraisser la surface Bricoleur averti je recommande ce type de perceuse maintenant à voir avec des plus gros diamètre sur une section de tôle de plus épaisse

Ich habe dank dieser Maschine eine Stahlkonstruktion für mein Haus in Eigenregie herstellen können und habe Unsummen gespart. Es handelt sich um HEB220, HEB280, HEM120 und 20mm Platten aus S235. Alles mit M24 zusammengeschraubt und dafür Dutzende D25 Löcher gebohrt. Die Maschine ist einfach nur geil und rentiert sich nach wenigen Tagen. Sie ist solide gebaut und hat selbst dezente Fehlbedienung ohne Schäden überstanden (bohren in der Hohlkehle mit erheblichen Querkräften). Absolute Weiterempfehlung und Warnung an Fein&Co.

Maschine habe ich gestern erhalten soweit alles ok. Der mitgelieferte Adapter passt allerdings nicht zum gelieferten Bohrfutter. Eine Reklamation in schriftlicher Form kann ich nicht finden, es besteht von Seiten Amazon nur die Möglichkeit der Rücklieferung die unnötig Kosten verursacht schade. Bitte überprüfen ob es noch mehr Maschinen betrifft die falsch zusammengestellt wurden. Nachtrag: Kundenservice hat mein Problem zu meiner Zufriedenheit gelöst.
