Went back to this one because I was so pleased how it worked. I even ordered one for a friend. I love the TEXTURE of the wand. Easy to grip. Works a treat to whip up matcha or if I'm doing a matcha smoothie, I whip up a little in a cup with a little warm water and THEN add to smoothie because it makes it so....smooth :-)__________________________________________________Never used a frother before and here is my experience:PRICE - I got this as it was 12.99 on sale. My suggestion is if you are also a first time frother :-), this is an inexpensive way to try one.BATTERIES! - loved it CAME with batteries, which I think will last awhile, as I only use this for seconds a day.VERSATILE - Not just good for lattes, but really so many things. Even scrambled eggs, JUST MAKE SURE you have a DEEP bowl that is only about a THIRD full of eggs or it will be EVERYWHERE!POWER - this little sucker has some WHIRLING power! More about that in a minute.FROTH - does a good froth, but now for a couple of tips for first timers.Put in the tsp or however much matcha you use, then add your warm water or milk and then put the frother in. I added the powder AFTER the liquid and got a little cloud of green matcha! Next I added some liquid stevia (obviously a preference) and then almond milk. WOW. I only filled it up just a bit past half full of the cup and it started spraying! Next time, I will add less milk first!BOTTOMLINE: Inexpensive (even at regular price), seems a good quality, comes with batteries and has POWER. Great for lattes and I'm sure to mix other drinks.

Update: 2 yrs later, it's still going on the original batteries and I'm still using the first one I bought. It will froth just about anything. I bought them for $10 each. But even at the price they are now, $15, it's still the best deal you'll find, IF the quality is still there.I purchased 3. This is AWESOME.I have one from several years ago, not this brand. Needed another. Saw the price [6.71], bought 3.Open the box, comes WITH batteries.The reason for not 5 stars is the on button is on the top, side. It's awkward. Been using for 10 days, still awkward.But baby, this FROTHS.The inside diameter is the same as my other one, but the curves of the wires and how far they are set apart and how big they are, is what makes it froth or not. the motor is _powerful_.This puppy froths, hot or cold half and half. Hot is better because the heat releases the sweetness in the milk and the froth tastes better. If you want a frother, buy this. You won't be disappointed.It will also whip heavy whipping cream to the creme fraiche consistency. WOOT!

This frother is becoming my most used small appliance. I add Collagen powder to my coffee. Froth that into hot coffee and again after I add cream. The result is a creamy coffee bliss !Living in Las Vegas, dehydration is a way of life. I have been adding electrolytes to my water to help stay hydrated. I use Ultimate, Liquid IV or Drip Drop. All need to be stirred and still doesn’t fully dissolve. I add to my water and give a few seconds and it mixes it really well. Then some ice and another few seconds and it’s delicious and nice and cold.I’ve scrambled eggs and made pudding. Anything needing a little help mixing will be better because of this.Great frother. I had two others that didn’t compare. This has nice power to do the job

I bought this frother two years ago. The blending capability worked well for mixing matcha, teas, hot chocolate, etc. I used it almost daily and changed the batteries 4 or 5 times in that timeframe. The plastic on the handle began to rip off after a year and a half. Unfortunately, it just died. Still a good product and lasted long enough for the price I paid. I just upgraded to a more expensive frother due to my regular use.

Update a year later. This little thing is used at least once a day and I've never had a moment's trouble from it. I'm updating this review because a few months ago I accidentally dropped this into a pan that was soaking in the sink and it was completely submerged in water for over 30 minutes.I took it out, dried it off, took the batteries out, and let it dry for a couple days. When I put the batteries back in, it worked fine and it still working fine 3 months later.Earlier reviews: To the people I've seen the reviews where people say this has no power, I am posting this video. I mean keep in mind this is not meant to juice vegetables, it is meant to froth milk or mix protein shakes, etc. This video is a package of gravy mix and milk and you can see how well and easily it mixes it. Absolutely no lumps. I use this everyday to mix my favorite protein shakes and it works perfectly.

Update: it’s been almost 2 years, working and frothing from home now. Switched to oat milk and froths perfectly! It’s also great for a bit of whipped cream when you want to go fancy. I saw a review here where the person complained about it getting rusty. Seriously? How? After use I stick in some soapy water, turn it on, rinse off, then on again in the air, give it a little wipe from the dish towel, and store upright in the drawer. It looks as good as first bought so not sure what that person’s doing wrong.This thing is awesome! It whips up milk to a nice frothy consistency, helping you look like the smartest person at the office. Coworkers oohing and aawing at your brilliant purchase, giving yourself a milk mustache, the envy of all who didn't think of it first. It's inexpensive, easy to use, easy to clean--a no brainer. As one reviewer pointed out, heated milk does not want to froth as well so stick with a little bit of cold milk (you don't need a lot) and you're golden!

Update; November 20, 2021, Still going Strong! Still used daily. Switched to using rechargeable batteries. Stills works Great!This is a handy little tool, been using it since early Nov. 2019, (about 9 months). Used at least three times a day for frothing the creamer and cinnamon in my coffee and for sons chocolate milk, (stirs more thoroughly and quicker than a spoon!) . It is not the best for thick liquids (say like gravy) but it has survived my using it for that! Fruit Pulp tends to get caught in the mixer head, but the pulp is removable. Just installed the third set of batteries today, (late July) because it wasn't mixing as strongly lately, and now, back to FULL POWER! Speaking of which, the original batteries lasted about a full 5 months. The Duracells I installed in early April only lasted about 4 months, not sure if I just used it more or what, but the OEM batteries worked very well. Hopefully the mixer keeps on going, it seems like it is just as strong as when new. Things to NOTE: If the liquid is within ~1/2"-3/4" of the cup lip, it will spin the liquid over the edge, so watch and Pulse it. Don't dip the mixer rod down into the liquid, so far that liquid goes up into the handle rod opening. Only submerge/wash the mixer rod, not the handle, it isn't water proof. Rinse with clean water, spin in the air and it dries itself. The mixer head will touch the counter if laid on its side, so lay on a surface that can get dripped on. It would be helpful if it had a slight support on one side of the handle, to hold the mixer end up off of the counter. Don't put it in your hair, tangles really badly, (humor). Based on my experience with this one unit, it is a handy, useful device to have on hand. I rarely write any reviews, I paid for the unit fully. Enjoy Life, but, keep you and yours safe!
