Do i use this for a Harley Sporster?

Yes, I prefer it over the oil harley uses in gear box. Thicker and smooths out shifts. IMO

Can I use this in an open differential in my car? It calls for sae 75-140.

If it’s the same weight as what your car call for I would assume, or send a message to Lucas oil and they could clarify wether or not it’s recommended

The gear oil has very little, if any color. I use Lucas products in all my vehicles, (Harleys, SUV, and pickup). Outstanding product.
