My poodle dog had a mat of hair on the tip of her tail that she would not let me touch. She ended up biting at it and pulling the mat out with her teeth, which lead to a sore that she wouldn’t keep from licking. I tried so many remedies and spent so much money and nothing worked until I used this spray. I used it 3 to 4 times daily and after it dried would apply a liquid bandage spray. She did not want me to touch her tail, so creams and ointments were hard to apply. She tolerated the spray well. Within 3 days she quit licking her tail and it healed completely.

Excellent and very effective product. Dog got a skin infection/hot spot really nasty on base of tail, from getting in dirty river water. It was oozing red painful and dog was very agitated. Of course it was on a weekend when regular vet closed. Ordered this on overnight delivery; sprayed it on and dog seemed to be immediately soothed by it. She allowed me to spray it generously all over the area, I repeated several times thru the day and by the end of day the spot was greatly improved and looking so much better. Used in combination with an ointment but I think this spray was the main factor in resolving the issue. I kept on spraying the area 2-3x per day for about 5 days and then occasionally after that if she was trying to itch it, and the spot healed up completely with no need for abx or vet visit. 10/10 will always keep this on hand.

I wish I had this 3 days ago but better late than never. Immediate relief and the hot spot went from bright red with broken skin and pus to a pale gray. She seems so much happier since i sprayed this on 3 times today. This product works. Her cone comes tomorrow. She’s 9 and this is her first hotspot.

My dog has seasonal allergies and after a cross country move we were in between vets and could not get an apoquel prescription which is her usual for a hot spot in her "arm pit" area. In addition to allergy chews, i brought this spray and have used it 3-4 times per day and after several days noticed she isn't scratching. The spot still looks bad but I know itll take longer to heal. Deff a good product but you do need to be patient and consistant with it.

Hot spot area is clearing but after using the spray on the inner thigh for 3 days dog started refusing to let me spray the area. Have tried tricking him while sleeping but I only can get one spray before he gets aggressive like it is hurting him. Something about the spraying bothers him. I do not see any evidence of allergic reaction and I tried it on my own skin and can tell there is nothing there that would sting.

My big boy German shepherd was repeatedly licking & chewing irritated skin on the underside of his leg. He really hates going to the vet, so I first checked out Amazon dog products & found this hot spot spray. I've found that Amazon dog owners' 5-star reviews can be trusted!! I followed instructions & trimmed away matted fur near the red, sore area. Then I liberally sprayed the entire irritated spot. My good boy lay still while I was doing this, so I knew the spray didn't sting his tender skin. Last, I took him outside for a walk so the spray could be absorbed and dry, without him smelling & licking it. I repeated this sequence for 2 more days ... By day 3, I was amazed that my dog's skin was completely healed & redness was gone. Excellent product which I highly recommend!!

This is good stuff. I’ve tried other hot spot sprays for my dog and this works well and also doesn’t seem to hurt him. Sprayer works well, easy to use. Slight pleasant smell.

It seems to have worked pretty quickly. My dog was getting itchy red spots and they appear to have healed within a a few days
