My teen and elementary school aged daughters both struggled with underarm odor. I have all girls and my other 2 don’t have that problem. But I feel really bad that they have to deal with this and it was starting to make them feel uncomfortable. We went to their pediatrician and did the requirements she asked and unfortunately, it didn’t really help much. They shower every day and use sensitive ivory brand soap. we have tried numerous different deodorants. We have tried body wipes. I have tried essential oil wipes that are gentle enough to use underneath the arm and non-irritating. While they all did help a little bit, we still weren’t getting to the root of the issue and nothing was helping quite the way we had hoped. So I started doing a lot of research and I came across people having really good luck with using glycolic acid for their under arms. I went back to their pediatrician and asked if this would be safe for them to use and their doctor said it would be fine. And this product has truly been magical. It completely takes the odor away. Obviously, you still must shower and use a good body soap and scrub under your arms well and they said that sometimes the hair underneath our arms can help harbor bacteria, or the scent secreted from those glands. So we still remove the hair and I still shower and scrub really well using a good sensitive soap. But after they get out of the shower or before they go to school in the morning, they just apply about two sprays per under arm and allow it to air dry. And then they just go in with a basic “secret” brand dry spray deodorant. They truly don’t even need the secret dry spray deodorant. But the glycolic spray does not have a scent. And they are girly girls so they love to have a scent. So they just lightly layer a little bit on top once the glycolic spray has dried. And it truly has worked wonders! The spray does not irritate my much older teenager, nor does it irritate my elementary school aged child. It doesn’t burn or irritate the skin. I don’t know what the sorcery is behind how it manages to take away really strong under arm odor, but it does a fantastic job. We are so thankful we found this brand and we will continue to be customers!
