Cat Litter Box - Tan

My 3 cats have used this for 5days. They use it easily. I even caught a kitten trying to sleep in it. I like that I can roll to clean the litter. Scooping seems to go through a lot of litter. Hopefully this way won't be so much. The only down side, it's a little hard to get the basket out of its slot. It seems to be a really tight fit. I'm just going to take a razor blade and trim the housing a little. Ok so I've now had this for a little more than a month. Cats still are using. 9nly down side. It seems to keep the urine smell right there I spin/empty this about 3 times a day. So I drilled 8 holes in center back to help diffuse this. We*all see if this helps. I still like.

First, this thing is ridiculously hard to put together - the screw holes don't line up as they should! Next, this litter box is supposed to make cleaning out clumps of waste super easy. It does not. The drawer makes a huge mess each time you pull it out to clean. Waste gets stuck to the bottom and sticks to the outside as you slide it out. A lot of clean litter also stays in the drawer (I do use clumping litter!). Lastly, and the deciding factor for returning this litter box, the ammonia smell in this litter box accumulates quickly and I fear it's way too high for cats. I bought this for two kittens I just adopted. The first week they were both using this litter box, but the second week I'd gotten a second cheap open flat litter box. The kittens stopped using this spinner litter box. I think they used it twice in the second week. I went to dump out all the litter to clean it and try different litter in it and when I lifted the box to dump out all the litter that smell hit me! It was sooo strong. No wonder my kittens didn't want anything to do with it. Our vet told us that sometimes the covered litter boxes can trap in the ammonia smell - I think that's what happens with this one because the opening isn't very big. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

Love the idea of the product but we found it makes a mess every time you pull out the tray to dump- litter everywhere- trying to figure out how to fix this issue since I can’t afford to discard and buy something else. I bought it back in Sept for a Christmas present for my daughter’s family. My son in law has health and mobility issues and just knew this would make his life easier. It’s been too long to return. Would love to figure out how to remedy the problem. It’s made very well and works fine- just the mess!!!!!! I’ve contacted the seller and they have responded and I hope I can get this worked out. May have to break out the Duct tape. LOL!!!

Yeeeea... not the greatest product in the world: It's made well, no cheap parts but the capacity is definitely too small even for my two 3 mo old kittens. The spinner takes only a small to medium amount of litter, if you fill too much, the spinner will not turn easily anymore, and the litter would not go through the sieve but fall around it. With the allotted amount of litter however, the soiled litter sticks to the bottom/sides of the spinner and giant clumps builds up, so you have to take the scraper to the spinner every single time that you clean it (2-3 times per day for me). On a positive node, it's easier to scrape a rounded floor than a straight litterbox with corners, however, getting into the opening to scrape the spinner is no fun! Now to the messy part, it's simple, the sieve is as long as the depth of the litter spinner. So if you pull it out it dribbles wet litter/ small pieces through the sieve onto your floor before you even get the later part out. I place a plastic bag onto the floor in front of the spinner but regular plastic bags are not nearly long enough and I don't feel like wasting 2-3 regular garbage bags per day instead.So, great idea but it needs to be much bigger and the sieve needs to have a bottom tray or something.

We love love love the Litter Spinner. I prefer that our cat boxes have a cover but hate taking them apart to scoop. This solves both dilemmas! We ordered one first to try it out and ended up ordering a second and replaced both of our ordinary cat boxes. So glad that we did!Set up was easy with a screwdriver and provided instructions. The cats took to the boxes right away and we've had no trouble with them not using the boxes.They are made of durable plastic and we've had no trouble with the front and back halves separating (as was mentioned in a previous review). One thing that I would caution is to not overfill with litter - ie don't use more than is recommended by the manufacturer. If there is too much litter it will spill over the front of the basket (still in the box) and the basket will not catch all the clumps.Overall we have been very pleased. It makes scooping the box less of a chore and the cats are happier because the boxes stay cleaner! FYI - we also keep a Litter Locker close to each Litter Spinner to make the job even easier.

This is literally the worst product I've ever purchased. For some reason the design has a seam in the middle which runs the entire way around the barrel, so to clean it you'll need to disassemble it and to use it you'll need to have a potty pad under it, the urine leaks out immediately, there is no rubber gasket inside the seam, not that I'm sure that would help. Absolutely horrid to clean, the litter gets stuck every where and you make a huge mess removing the little mesh basket that fills up when you rotate the barrel. The thing is not coated with anything on the inside so everything just sticks to it. It is also miniscule.
