This stuff is seriously amazing! Let me preface that a bit with a somewhat long story... Once upon a time... just kidding... I have an 8yo Catahoula (big farm dog), named Daniel Dog, and two months ago he started coughing. It was a dry, hacking, non productive cough. I made him an appointment at his Vet, and then started Googling what it could be. DON'T EVER DO THAT! I immediately became upset and worried for the next 24 hours. The Vet could not find anything wrong with him... like at all! So several hundred dollars later, I was given a "well, let's see if this medicine helps" and was sent on my way with 3 very expensive prescriptions. They didn't do squat! So, back to the Vet we went. They still didn't find anything and were completely stumped! So they gave us some doggy robitussin, and wished us well. (My Vet is awesome by the way! Like seriously, great!) As we were nearing the end of our most recent prescription of doggy robitussin, I decided to see if it was any cheaper on here (Amazon). This prouct (HomeoPet Cough) came up in my suggestions at the bottom. I clicked it and read everything on the page, even the reviews before deciding to try it. (Yes, every single one of them!) It looked safe, and it was way cheaper than his cough medicine. So, I figured what they heck... whats $10 more dollars. I was still a bit skeptical, but I was willing to try it for the sake of my puppers. Daniel was downright miserable, and I hated it for him. I went ahead and paid the little extra to get it here a little faster, and it arrived the next day. Still a bit skeptical, I went back and re-read everything. After being put somewhat at ease, I pushed forward, and decided to go for it. Daniel, being the big dog he is, is not a fan of medicine. So this has been a daily struggle for us. Luckily enough, it also happened to be the same day that his Nexgard (monthly flea & tick pill) was due, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone since I did not want to fight him any harder than I had to at this point. I took the dropper, and made a puddle of the drops on the one side of his pill. It was maybe 8 drops... maybe 9... but definitely not 10! Then the struggle ensued! After I had successfully dosed my Daniel Dog with his medicines, I waited... not sure for what. He still coughed a bit that day, but not as much. The real miracle happened the next day.... HE DID NOT COUGH ONCE! Seriously, not a single hack! I was amazed, but still somewhat weary. At that point, I assumed it was like honey, and coated his throat somehow. I was happy, but made a mental note that it was probably just temporary... BUT IT WASN'T! I gave him this medicine on July 3rd and he has not coughed once since the 4th. Whatever this is, soothed his throat long enough for his ailments to disappear. I may still have to give him more later on, but I will gladly take forcing medicine into him every once in a while over every 4 hours (like clockwork)! Today, my Daniel Dog is a happy old man! He isn't coughing, and that makes taking his naps a whole lot easier for him.

Works great. This brand has several great items that I use every so often when my dog seems just a little under the weather. I use this for a few days and he's all better. No expensive vet bill. I truly love this brand.

I tried this for my dog when she had a mild cough, hoping it would help calm things down naturally. It’s easy to give, the dropper makes it simple to mix into water or food, and she didn’t seem to mind the taste at all. I like that it’s a homeopathic formula and safe for both dogs and cats. It did seem to ease her coughing a bit after a couple of days, especially at night. That said, it’s not a quick fix, the results were mild and gradual, and I wouldn’t rely on it alone for anything serious. The small bottle goes a long way, though, since you only use a few drops each time. Overall, it’s a nice gentle option for mild coughs or seasonal irritation, but I’d still check with a vet if symptoms stick around.

It took awhile but finally she is cough free!!! I had tried several other remedies but this is the one that worked. Started out with 8 drops in two cups of water twice a day for a while then as the cough improved she got the 8 drops at night. That’s when it was the worse. When it subsided I stopped using it. There has been no cough since!!! This supplement truly works!!!

Didn't work but dog had kennel cough so most likely wasn't able to help

My husband and I inherited an 11 year old beagle October of 2018 he came to us with quite a few health problems one being an untreated grade 5 heart murmur. We have watched him closely for signs of it causing problems. January 2022 he started coughing which wasn't unusual for him when we first got him due to his collar causing damage to his throat when he was being walked for years he pulled when we got him. We switched to a harness and his throat healed but some damage wasn't able to be fixed. He started coughing but not often and it didn't sound like he needed to get something out of his throat. He went to the vet in February and we started a heart med first one he's ever been on unfortunately. Shortly after going to the vet his cough became worse and he started gaging and hacking similar to kennel cough sounds. A dog with a heart murmur can't have cough medicine like healthy dogs can it can rapidly progress the heart into heart failure. After acouple sleepless nights we broke down and got him cough medicine it helped but not as much as we wanted. We tried 3 different kinds and none helped like we had hoped and we made the decision to give the heart medication a week to start helping him if he didn't get worse but if he did we would say our goodbyes along with our other dog who is almost 7 years old lab mix they are attached at the hip. The heart med starting helping but again not as much as we wanted and we didn't want him to suffer. At this point it's almost been a month since his cough got worse and I decided to Google cough medicine for dogs and this came up. I read the reviews and we decided to give it a try but we figured it wouldn't help much if at all but thankfully we were wrong! Rufus our beagle doesn't care for the smell of the medicine but I put alittle raw honey on a plastic spoon than add the drops. At first it was very difficult to get him to take the medication but he slowly started realizing that it helped him. He was already used to honey since I started that soon after he got the cough so he was more willing to take it. Now I get the honey and the drops and he's happily waiting for me to give it to him. He isn't used to his mouth being touched so pills is impossible unless he gets them in human food. These drops have given us more time with our old man and we truly couldn't be happier. We never imagined that he would make it past 6 months when we got him and we are coming up on 4 years since we got him. If we didn't have these drops we would have had to say goodbye to him they have saved his life. He gets it 3-4 times a day we dropped to once a day but he started coughing more so we went back up to 3-4 times a day and the cough is still there but it's dry no gaging and hacking much at all. He's learned if he gages and hacks he gets human food but we've stopped that and he's learning that he doesn't get it if he gags and hacks.

I have a 16 year-old Chihuahua that coughs continuously throughout the night and during the day. I decided to look up something that would help him not cough as much. And I found this product. I read reviews and it made me believe that I could help him. I gave him the recommended amount. Within less than 24 hours, he had a really bad seizure. I honestly thought he died. I honestly didn’t think it was a product so I gave it to him again. And then again it happened within the last 24 hours another really bad seizure. This was a lesson learned on my behalf that I can’t trust everybody and with their reviews. I also need to do more research to not put my own friend at risk. Just be mindful, about the stuff that you put in your best friend. I haven’t given him any product within the past few days, he still has a cough, but I rather have him have a cough, then see him struggle once again with another seizure.

Seems to help the symptoms

Worked very well for my dogs. I mix dosage in little water and gave it directly in mouth. Heavy coughing cleared after a few days and less phlegm discharge.

My dog started with kennel cough late Saturday afternoon. She was hacking and throwing frothy stuff. About half 12 I got up to see to her and give her some honey. I ordered this cough supplement and it was here about 2 pm Such a fast delivery. It has definitely given her some relief. She barely hacking now She is not 100% well but thay awful cough which really upset me is minimal. I can't say how much of a life saver this was Exceptional delivery box was a bit battered but who cares. I would give it 6 starts if I could.

I hoped this product would help the chronic coughing and hacking my Yorkie does due to a partially collapsing trachea, but didn't and after a few tries he fought when we tried to give it to him.

I have always used homeopathy so I wasn't too worried about trying this for my dog but I was surprised at how quickly it worked. After 3 hours of relentless coughing where nothing seemed to help I gave him 2 drops. He sneezed, went to bed and slept for 5 hours without coughing. We had neither of us slept since 2am that morning and this was late afternoon so the relief was enormous. I'm not expecting it to be a cure but it does bring relief from coughing. Honey is also helping. My dog is fully vaccinated and still got kennel cough so is now in quarantine, which the dog who gave it to him should have been. There is some nasty diseases out there and I plan to keep this product in my cupboard because you never know.

Helped reduce the coughing but didn’t eliminate it altogether. Probably will buy again. Very prompt service and delivery. Thank you
