Pratley Standard Waterproof Epoxy Putty - Do It Yourself

Over a year ago one of the only products used by florists as an adhesive for pin frogs w.as this green putty that was discontinued. Since i have been searching for a reliable replacement and finally found this! Keep in mind though that it will be permanently secured into whatever vessel you choose.

Purchased for a very specific reason, but found myself using it for a bunch of different repairs around the house. Definitely a great items to keep on hand at home or in the tool box. I used to mend broken things that need some extra support, use as a filler, or to mold into a different shapes needed to repair a broken item. My only comment is that the product says that it is "white" and its more of an off-white bordering on gray. But it's something I'll continue to keep on hand, take with me camping, or anywhere I might need to MacGyver something.

Although product works as advertised, was disappointed that it dries grey and not white.

This stuff is like magic really!! The only downside for myself was finding a good glove to use while handling this stuff....a tight fitting hospital glove was best

Used it to repair large cracks in the steering wheel of my vintage truck. Easy to work with if you follow directions. It gets very very hard. I do recommend wearing light latex or rubber gloves when working with it. It was easy to file and sand after it hardened and it took paint well. It saved me $50 off what some companies sell as a steering wheel repair kit. Amazing stuff, I'll find more uses for this.

Sets up good in a reasonable time. Sands nicely. Filled some drilled holes in steel. Smoothed out nicely with a damp finger. After paint could not see holes. Have used for many years and last forever. Only needed a little, so this will last me a while.

This product works easily without the pre-mixing - that I was prepared for. A little goes a long way. There are two version: the standard one for larger fills. It is not as white as the other. The other works better as there is no need for paint. I did paint over it, but only because there was other paint needed around it.

This product is easy to use. Molds easily in your hands and adheres well. Let it dry and I can then sand it a couple of days later and paint it. Have been using it for several years now. A must have on hand product.
