I ordered the small one because I often take food home when eating out and this so much easier to handle than the flimsy take away foam containers which leak or break in transit. This is made sturdy as expected with a product from Hamburg. The dividers are removable which is great as I do not need them. The container comes with a handy sack with drawstrings made from pure cotton. There is also a replacement gasket for the lid. I cannot imagine wearing out the original but we are ready in case it does wear out. The small one will carry a couple of sandwiches stacked or one thick sammy. The steel is thick enough to be sturdy but not overly heavy. This could easily fit in a tote bag, large purse, back pack, brief case. I highly recommend this container.

Excellent quality and great materials! Traveled to the Grand Canyon and these worked great in the cooler, and were water tight. No plastic!

We love this box. We use it as the breakfast box for our 4.5 year old in kindergarten. It looks small but the volume is actually larger than his previous bento kids box which is much heavier and bulkier. It took him a few days to get used to opening and closing, but now he has no issues with it. It’s very sturdy, well made and just feels like a great product. We enjoyed using it in the past few months and ordered another one for our younger child. We clean it regularly in the dishwasher and it cleans perfectly without any smells sticking to it like plastic. It’s definitely not cheap but it’s well worth the price. It’s exactly what I wanted. A well made, low maintenance box that is great for both kindergarten and packing snacks or lunch for a trip.

I've been loving this. I got a compliment at work the first day I put it in the fridge for how nice it looks, and I totally agree. It's leak proof enough I took soup to work, and I walk and then take the bus, so you KNOW I put it through the paces. That thing was turned upside down and sideways before I got off my block. As for it's durability, it's not delicate. If you drop it off the roof it will probably dent, but it's not broken just from regular use. The clasps are strong. The little dividers are nice too. Lets me keep my veg separate from my fruit. There can be a little bit of taste spill over since they're easily adjustable and slide over with ease, but for just keeping things from mixing together they work great. Easy to wash too, which I really appreciate. Altogether, super happy with this purchase.

The issue with quality I found is that at first glance it appears to be good quality German steel because it is a German company, but with my results and looking further into product details, it is made in China and not what you would expect. Initial Impressions: The design looked sleek, and the idea of a leak-proof, durable stainless steel container was appealing for my daily commute to work. The sealing seemed secure, and the compartmentalized approach to meal storage was exactly what I was looking for in a lunch box. I assumed the German branding meant top-tier craftsmanship, but discovering it’s manufactured in China left me questioning the materials and build. Durability Issues: After just one use—washing it by hand before and after—I noticed visible wear on the stainless steel surface. This was incredibly disappointing, as I expected much more from a product meant to withstand daily use. The wear wasn’t just cosmetic; it suggested a lack of quality in the steel or the manufacturing process, especially given the mismatch between the company’s origin and where it’s actually made. Structural Concerns: Perhaps even more concerning was the state of the welding for the side clamps. These are supposed to keep the lunch box securely closed, but after a single day, the welds were already showing signs of bending and loosening. This not only affects the overall integrity of the lunch box but also raises significant doubts about its longevity and safety for food storage, especially if the clamps fail to hold during transport. Conclusion: I was genuinely excited about this product for its potential as an eco-friendly, durable meal storage solution. However, the reality after one day of use was far from satisfactory. The visible wear on the stainless steel, the compromised welding on the side clamps, and the realization that it’s not the German-made quality I expected make this lunch box a regrettable purchase. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, Unfortunately I had to return it.

This snack/light lunch box is fantastic. I spent a lot of time researching options because I specifically wanted stainless steel instead of plastic, and this one exceeded my expectations. The quality is outstanding. It feels durable, well-made, and built to last. One of the standout features is the seal. The rubber gasket creates an excellent seal that keeps food securely inside, and I appreciate that they even include a replacement gasket. That's a small detail, but it shows attention to quality and longevity. It's perfect for snacks, smaller lunches, and everyday use. Nothing leaks out, and it travels well in a backpack or lunch bag. One thing to be aware of: The internal divider is removable and adjustable, which is a great feature for cleaning/flexibility. However, the divider is not watertight. Liquids can move from one side of the divider to the other, so it's not ideal if you're packing something juicy like watermelon next to dry snacks such as pretzels or crackers. That minor limitation aside, this is easily the best stainless steel snack box I've found. If you're looking for a high-quality, plastic-free option with a great seal and excellent construction, I highly recommend it. I own three.

Certainly quality made stainless steel storage box. Seems very durable. I really like the gasket/ seal for the lid and the internal-removable food separators. What I struggle with is the $33.00 price tag. Seemingly not much different from other Bento boxes. Maybe a thicker metal, maybe the food separators; not sure. I really like the product, just not sure if the price fits the value. But it’s a keeper.

Definitely get the bigger size 47 oz. The 27 oz is pretty small and looks more like a 16 oz. Nonetheless, it's very wellade, secure and strong. Also covers very well, I recommend.

La lunch box è esattamente come descritta. La box è ben realizzata, con materiale che appare di buona qualità. Comodissima la possibilità di lavare tutto in lavastoviglie, semplificando la pulizia. La guarnizione ha una tenuta perfetta: nessuna perdita, neanche riempiendo la box con acqua e capovolgendola. Comoda la sacca in cotone. Gli inserti per la realizzazione di scomparti sono comodi, anche se non restano saldamente al loro posto; avere delle scanalature per inserire gli inserti avrebbe reso il loro posizionamento più stabile. Ovviamente, per come sono realizzati, evitano il contatto dei cibi negli scomparti, ma non l'eventuale mescolamento di oli/sughi. Come chiaramente indicato, non è un contenitore termico, quindi non è adatto per chi ha necessità di tenere il cibo in caldo. Essendo in metallo, il contenitore non può andare nel microonde.

Feel like cheap quality vs cost money.

I am satisfied with this purchase. The price of the lunch box is probably too high, but on the other hand it will last hopefully longer than traditional plastic boxes.
