All are super 2 problems are there. 1.it takes 10min recording for 1gb in max quality 2.It needs Ntfs pendrive all hardisks and pendrives are HDD But I got a solution for this problem install the app in laptop “Hp disk format tool” we can the hard disk or pendrive in Ntfs format Anyway it I like it it is good product

Excellent quality recording. It is unable to play video recorded in other recorders. Live display is being switched off and on at the time of starting of recording and at the time stopping. Editing is easy after experience.Ramesh Das

Revised review :The Pros still stand, but my objection lies against the very short life of this device. After the first one died within 18 months, I thought this may be just bad luck! Since I was satisfied with the recording quality, I shelled out another (nearly) 12 thousand rupees to buy a second one. This one died within weeks after the expiry of the 1 year warranty period, not that there is any service station in my city. So, if you have money to burn, go ahead buy a piece every year or year and a half and continue to burn ~Rs. 12K each time. But I have had enough!Pros:Good recording quality. Recorded video looks almost identical to the source. I am happy with it.Cons:1) After the set is turned on from its standby mode, it takes a while to setup itself while the TV display goes blank two or three times during that period. Therefore, one has to be alert to turn on the EasyRecorder well ahead of the program one wants to record. Since the input signal (HD set top box for me) continues to be displayed normally on the TV with simply the mains power on, it is easy to forget to actually turn on the EasyRecorder from its standby mode before one can start recording.2) In India, signals from "HD" cable or Dish is invariably 0nly1080i on the so-called HD channels and not 1080p. EasyRecoder doesn't seem to record such signals in its original resolution (1080i) but as 720p, although visually the video doesn't look any worse.3) Even when the input signal has 5.1 surround sound, videos recorded by EasyRecorder are simply stereo.4) Last, but in no way the least, the price set is way too high. Should have been below Rs.10k. Between 8k and 9k would have been reasonable.My recommendation? If you can live with the cons listed above, you should definitely buy it. It is a really useful device.

CAN CAPTURE UP TO 1080. IF INPUT IS MORE THEN 1080, WILL NOT CAPTURE.SHOULD HAVE SOFTWARE UPDATE TO AUTOMATICALLY DOWN GRADE FROM HIGHER RESOLUTION TO 1080 RATHER NOT SUPPORTING IT.

This product doesnt support my surgical stryker camera HD 1188. It says the resolution is not supported. So please guide me now what to do with this product?

The hard drive in my Bell PVR died and I couldn't get another drive to work with it, so I got one of these and it works great. I use a cheap component to HDMI converter from the PVR to the EzRecorder though. I did get an HDMI splitter, but didn't bother trying it yet cuz it's not my main TV, and it looks fine the way it is. Anyway, this thing works great, and is the only unit I saw that would allow you to record and play back, all from the little box and an external drive. It came with a usb stick, but it didn't work worth a damn to record to, so maybe it was just for updating the unit, but I didn't bother trying to do any firmware updates or anything, it just worked outa the box all simple like. Now I can toss my external drive on a PC and backup recordings I wanna keep, and if I blow another drive, who cares! Shipped fast and works perfect outa the box for me.

Yo lo utilizo para grabar desde sistema de cable y me funcionó a la perfección. Graba a 1920x1080p. Lo único que se puede ajustar es la compresión del archivo y el tamaño del mismo de acuerdo a la calidad de la imagen. Para mí es suficiente.

Der AverMedia EZRecorder 130Angeschafft wurde der "HDMI" Rekorder um auch mal eine Rechner Unabhängige Aufzeichnung eines HDMI Streams zu haben.Geschützte HDMI Signale kann das Gerät nicht aufnehmen, da muss man sich schon mit einem China HDMI Splitter behelfen - was in Deutschland nicht erlaubt ist.Das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei. Man steckt das HDMI Signal ohne Kopierschutz in den HDMI Eingang, den HDMI Ausgang führt man zum TV. Weiterhin braucht das Gerät noch Strom - fertig.Aufzeichnen tut der Rekorder auf einer externen Festplatte die zwingend in NTFS formatiert sein muss. Had this arrived yesterday, very easy to setup didn't even need the manual. Attached a 1tb hard drive to it, I recorded for over 2 hour's continuously with no play back issues. Very impressed with this capture device, would highly recommend
