I got this for my husband for an early Father's Day present. He loves it!! I had bought him the 8" blade recently for larger fish and he likes that, so I surprised him with this one for our smaller pan fish. We love the protective case for it and it was nice and sharp for a quick cleaning session.

Handle feels great in hand. Good balance. Sharp right out of the box. Very versatile version for the camper/fishing box. A little stiff for fillet knife. Plan to purchase the fillet version with a flex blade. True test will be how long it holds an edge. That is where most low cost knives fail. Update after I use it a while.

Great knife, nothing wrong with the knife itself, my only "complaint" and I hesitate to use that word is the sheath has no way to attach the knife to anything. There is no clip or belt loop on the sheath. The knife does have a lanyard hole which is handy but it would be nice to attach it somehow while you're out fishing. I bought this for trout fishing so I have to stick it in my chest pocket of my waders which is not a great spot or way to keep the knife. Other than this the knife itself is amazing! Very versatile three part blade, time will tell on the edge retention.

Super sharp filet knife. I haven't owned it very long yet so I can't attest to how long the sharpness lasts, but this knife arrived razor sharp. I purchased this to filet my own deer meat for freezing and it just slices through so easily, I'm very impressed. I also really like the grip, it feels nice and ergonomic and doesn't slip around in my hand and is easy to hold for a long time, its big enough that my hand doesn't cramp around it.

Great bait knife for saltwater fishing.

Looks great and functionally superior to others around same price. I have used this now on 4 trips - cuts well through braided line as well as frozen sardines.

Very good ergonomic handle. Blade have best shape possible, both sides useful. Easy to sharp. Nice blade cover , keep knife dry, stay on blade with out falling. Right size for fishing or kitchen. Also my wife favorite knife.
