It worked out ok. I have a MacBook Pro and it works fine. I used this on my niece’s MacBook. It went fairly fast. I was satisfied with it. The only thing is that it got extremely hot. But nothing failed to work. It did the job ok. Size was good. Easy to use. Good value for money. Very portable. Good design. Compatible with Mac computers. Highly recommend!

One of the best pieces of kit I’ve ever picked up. The transfer speeds are unreal and the capacity is wonderful. It definitely generates heat in use and I worry a bit about long term viability, but fingers crossed. So glad I got this before the Storage Armageddon of price hikes caused by the AI bubble.

The SanDisk 2TB Extreme PRO Dual Drive USB is an absolute beast of a flash drive. It’s a bit bulkier than the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe, but with 2TB of storage and up to 1000MB/s speeds, the added size makes sense—and honestly, it’s still pocketable and sleek enough. See my photos for size comparison between the Luxe, this Extreme PRO, and a pen. Performance-wise, it really delivers. In my disk speed tests, it consistently hits around 800MB/s read/write, and real-world large file transfers confirm those numbers. It’s super fast, and noticeably runs cooler than the Luxe, which is a nice bonus during long copy sessions. While the Luxe is already a fantastic drive, this model feels like a step up across the board. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but when you consider that this little USB stick offers performance and storage on par with my Samsung T7 2TB SSD—at a similar price point—it’s pretty amazing. I got this at $149 during Springs Sale btw. Highly recommended if you want high-speed, high-capacity portable storage in a compact form. Totally happy with this purchase.

Right out of the package, this drive feels heavy duty, it is not light, it is built like a tank. When you spin the drive to select USB A or USB c side, it has a clicking lock mechanism that keeps it in place. It just feels good in your hands. It is lightning fast and when formatted as FAT32 works great for digital DJing with Rekordbox. Having a whole 1T thumb drive for under $100 (currently the sale price is an insane value), with both USB connectors makes this highly recommended. Seems like it will past the test of time. Only a few small negative things I could call out is it gets pretty warm when in use, the lack of connector covers (although pretty standard these days), and with how heavy it is, hoping it doesn't cause stress on usb ports if its not supported by sitting on table etc.

Works as described - transfer speed is really nice on both USB-C and USB 3. I'm getting 400 MB/s on my computer and realize theoretical speed and personal PC, etc. affects actual speed. Very nice to have both USB types for convenience but it is a bit bulky in size so on some laptops a bit difficult to use. Also, the packaging should clearly state this is SSD - had to research online quite a bit to confirm as I was about to return this. SSD is important.

Wow! The minute I got it out of the box and felt that you could tell the quality just right from there. It plugs in smoothly doesn’t drag, so very exact dimensions there. extremely fast, my test show that it is much faster than I bought from other brands. Definitely a must buy price as well worth it

While this is a little pricey, this Sandisk Extreme Pro works. For large file transfers, mostly 350 - 400 mb/s. This depends on your computer. No problems. Reliability so far. Does get a little warm. Better than all other drives I have brought over the years. Would recommend.

I bought this after upgrading my computer to the latest MacBook pro to use with my Pioneer XDJ-XZ DJ player. My current music library is 90 GB and growing. If I formatted the drive right now and rewrote my entire collection to the drive, it would take less than 10 minutes in rekordbox. That is absolutely amazing! I currently have it formatted in FAT32 for the best compatibility. So far my experience with this has been flawless, and the build quality is the best for any USB drive I've ever owned. For now, this is the champion of dual USB drives, and the only one I would recommend for any serious DJ.

Der SanDisk Pro Dual Drive 256 GB entspricht in keiner Weise den Erwartungen, die bei Amazon und im Internet beschrieben werden. Sehr umständlich in der Anwendung und Einstellung, sehr schlecht bei der Übertragung der Fotos. Mein iPhone 16 lässt problemlos ca. 5 Fotos pro Übertragungsprozess zu. Der über 100€ teure Preis ist nicht gerechtfertigt!
