Better than I had hoped for..

I'm so happy with this pot, It's well made, I don't have problems with it sticking, but I put just a small amount of oil in it before cooking, and I never cook on high heat, it's a perfect size for my family of four.

This is a beautiful pot, and I appreciate the clear lid and the demarcations of content on the inside. However, nowhere in the Amazon description does it say that the pot should not be used on high heat ( listed in the product brochure). I used it to boil potatoes for mashing, set it on heat that was barely above medium. Took forever to heat to boiling point. Then, after use, there were slight marks on that pot’s base and inside. Most of the inside came off with barkeepers friend, but still some discoloration on the pot base after one use! I’m sure if I contact the company, they will fault me for the slightly beyond medium temperature I used. So, if you’re good with waiting for the pot to heat up, then this is a nice pot, but be advised that you have to baby this pot!

This is a good pot in this price range. I own many other types of pots of different qualities and price points and this one is probably in the middle range of quality. The bottom is a good solid bottom base as it is tri-ply. However, you can tell that the sides and handle don't seem as "heavy" or thick quality as the rest of the pot. I can tell the different from my other stainless pots from other brands. The top lid is a flat shape vs. the other slightly dome shaped lid. I did not find any issue with it, but it's just an aesthetics thing I noticed. Nonetheless it is a solid tempered glass lid that is nice and sturdy. The pot has two water pouring spouts on the top rim for ease of pouring water. When boiling water, I did notice that the steam will come out through those spouts when the water is boiling. I've also tried using this as a steamer by putting the bamboo steamers on top of it and it works. The steam does come out of the spouts as well when the water is simmering. So just note to not put any hands near those spouts as steam does come out from there and could burn yourself. The inside of the pot holds a good amount of water and even includes measurement markings on the inside. It was easy to clean the pot. I just used a non scratching sponge with warm water and some dish soap In the in care instructions you can put this in the dishwasher, but it says it will last longer being hand washed and to only cook this pot to no higher than medium heat.

The box was a bit beaten up during shipping, but it was sturdy enough that the item inside remained completely unaffected. The quality of the pan is very impressive, it looks modern and feels well-made. I didn’t expect such refined details. Time will tell how well it performs, but for the prime days price, it's a great deal.
