CarpetXpert HairPro Carpet & Built-in Stain Cleaner, 2 Tools EX251BRN

My Bissell carpet cleaner just broke so I bought this during prime days. I have a long haired cat who mainly occupies the downstairs of my house which is all carpet. He on occasion hacks up hairballs and what not or will run his butt along the carpet if his you-know-what is in his fur. Sometimes my 1yr old will spill the cats water or the cats wet cat food has splattered for whatever reason. So I always have a shampooer in my house and have always shampooed my carpets in general. So far It’s done very well the few times I’ve used it. Its cleaned any stains up even old ones I couldn’t get up in the past. I haven’t had to pretreat, where with my bissel I would have to. It’s very light and easy to maneuver around. My last two carpet cleaners,Hoover and Bissell, were bulky My favorite is the hose/spot cleaner attachment is all there and ready to go. My last two were separate, so you had to go get the hose and hook it up and take it off, which was not convenient imo. I also like that it has a dry only option so you can really make sure your carpet is dry. Which brings me to the suction, it’s strong. My Bissel was not as good. I like the hair collector basket in the dirty water canister. It’s easy to remove the canisters for tossing out the dirty water, and cleaning it, or refilling cleaner canister. It is sort of loud, not any louder than the other carpet cleaners I’ve had but I don’t really care about that personally. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase it’s, kind of expensive but it works exceptionally well. I feel it’s worth it with the results I’ve gotten and ease of use. Plus it will last along time.

This is by far the most light weight and easiest to use machine I've had. It cleans really well too! The suction is fantastic. There is no leakage. It's a stylish machine with beautiful colors. Not that that really matters since it spends most days waiting to get out of the closet. I do wish the cord was longer though. I also wish the dirty water bucket had more capacity.

Shark CarpetXpert Hair Pro - This is the most well designed carpet shampooer I have ever used. Aside from that, it performs incredibly well! I love the Shark vacuums and decided to give them a try for a shampooer. It had been several months since my carpet was last cleaned and we also took in a rescue dog that was not house trained shorty after it arrived. This machine received daily use for several weeks. I shampooed my entire house and nearly every piece of furniture sometimes more than once. It removed 10+ year old stains, residual smell of pet pig and pet rat urine (iykyk), chicken coop muck and mud, grease and softball sized amounts of embedded fur. I don’t think I’ve ever been so impressed! We are seriously hard on our carpet. We live on a farm with live stock, pets and kids. I’ve bought nearly every brand of shampooer out there. All of the major brands and most popular models. This machine absolutely blew them out of the water! Our carpet is 15 years old and looks BRAND NEW! The only possible downside for some might be the smaller tank. I have a shoulder injury and don’t mind the lighter weight of this one. It cleans so well that I don’t even mind emptying the tank more frequently. My carpet is fully dry in 1-2 hours! I can’t even explain how nice it is that you can easily clean every single part of this machine. 5 stars! Highly recommend! Bravo to the people that designed this one!

Best cleaner I've ever had! Carpet looks brand new. My only complaint would be that the tank is small and requires emptying more frequently, however, that does also make the overall machine lighter and easier to carry/ move from floor to floor.

Performance is great. The best part is cleaning / emptying when finished, it’s so easy to clean and get ride if all the muck. There are no areas that trap nasty wet hair that can then stink because you can’t rinse that tight little spot. We purchased this to replace another model after 12 years of use but it always remained dirty in the reservoir - this model does not have that issue. The only improvement that could be made is maybe a heater but we just use warm water and it cleans with no issues.

TLDR: for new homeowners and clean freaks — you want clean carpets? get this one. only slight annoyance for some may be the smaller tank, although I personally do not mind it. after using it for the first time today to do a whole upstairs deep clean, this carpet cleaner is definitely among my greatest adult purchases! lol. great enough to make a review asap. feels clean, smells great, and I love that it’s pet safe. instruction booklet explains usage well for those that need. not only does it generally clean well, but the stain remover does exactly what it says. I tried it on one stain that had been there for possibly a year. I was expecting to need to go over it a few times, but after simply following directions and going over it only ONCE, it was immediately gone! I was actually shocked that I just stopped right after, with my mouth agape, as the machine kept running lol. as for the water tank, it is on the smaller side than what others may prefer. personally for me however, it’s perfect. I prefer portability, so that I don’t have to heavily lug around a carpet cleaner and just clean as I go; I think having a smaller tank makes sense for that. also, on the bright side — since the water tank is smaller, cleaning up the dirty water feels less gross (i.e. not having a huge load of dirty water to take care of all at once; I can get rid of the water with confidence, without worrying about heavy lifting and accidental splashing).

Disappointed with theCarpetXpert. Small tanks, and suspect cleaning ability. However, I have to give 4 stars because, in the end, the carpet was clean. I can't reccomend, not for price.

I bought this because my super expensive (brand-name-not-to-be-mentioned) carpet cleaner decided that its sprayers were not going to work anymore. I am actually happy that I was put in a position were I needed to by this. It is light weight, very easy to use, and it really, really cleans a carpet! …and the solution/take-up solution compartments are intelligently placed (unlike my super-expensive Bi***ll). Buy this! You will love it!

We’ve had nothing but great experiences with Shark products, and this carpet cleaner is no exception. It works really well, is easy to use, lightweight, and feels well designed. My girlfriend loves how simple it is to use, and we’re both very happy with how well it cleans. After using several Shark products over the years, they’ve become one of our go-to brands.

The machine a pretty heavy but it does not affect the impression of great cleaning and suction for me

Got it during Prime for a $100.00 off . We have only used it on an area rug but it did a great job easy to use and clean.

1. Spray H2O2 for stains and agitated with "dry only" mode or hand tool. 2. Next, fill your clean water tank using any carpet shampoo concentrate (but you should add less concentrate for Hoover, etc). 3. At a quick walking pace, vaccum the entire room without caring about overlapping your lines. Get the detergent everywhere. 4. Fill your clean water tank with only water and vaccum your carpet at a slow walking pace and overlapping lines. 5. Repeat step 4 once or twice. 6. Monitor your waste water tank. If you aren't happy with how dirty your waster water tank is then go back to step 2. 7. Use "Dry Only", vaccum dry your carpet to acceptable levels of moisture. 8. Accelerate the drying process with fans.

I can't believe how bad this thing is. I used it once when it was new, cleaned it, and put it away. A few months later I pulled it out for round two, and apparently one use was all it had in it. Now it dumps down a swimming pool's worth of water and picks up maybe a splash. You push it forward thinking you're cleaning a carpet, then pull it back wondering if you just watered the living room. The suction is so weak the carpet ends up soaked. Calling it "Quick Dry" is like calling a garden hose a dehumidifier. I checked the tanks, the seals, and the hoses. I cleaned and reassembled everything and gave it every chance to prove I was the problem. Nope. For this much money, I expected an appliance, not a troubleshooting hobby. A carpet cleaner should clean carpets more than once. That doesn't seem like a lot to ask. If you want a machine that actually pulls up what it puts down, keep looking. One star, because Amazon won't let me pick a tiny drawing of a dumpster.
