Boppy Uplift Nursing Pillow, Inclined Feeding Support for Reflux Symptoms

I bought this Boppy Uplift Nursing Pillow in the Pink Garden print for my wife, and we are both extremely happy with it. The floral design is beautiful, and the fabric is incredibly soft, cottony, and high quality. What impressed us most is how perfectly it supports the breastfeeding position my wife prefers. She likes the baby’s head slightly elevated with the legs a little lower on the same side, almost in a curled shrimp-like position. The pillow’s soft, spongy shape—thicker at the top and slimmer at the bottom—supports that position perfectly and makes latching much easier. My wife had been dealing with strong back pain during breastfeeding, and it completely disappeared the very first time she used this pillow. The waist belt provides excellent support and helps maintain a much better posture, taking pressure off her back, shoulders, and arms. She is also recovering from a C-section, so this pillow has been wonderful for keeping pressure off her stomach while still feeling secure and supportive. We are genuinely so happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to any family looking for extra comfort and support during feeding time.

A very nice firm sturdy nursing pillow. I like the fact that it’s raised on one side, making it more comfortable for baby and decreasing his spit up. I got it on sale so I am happy with the value. However, not sure I would’ve kept it if it was full price, because it’s annoying to have to flip it every time I switch him to the other side to nurse. The cover is very nice and easy to wash.

This pillow is great for newborns and would probably work very well for bottle feeding. However, once baby is about 2 feet long or 12 lb they start sliding off. Also, if breastfeeding, once their head is bigger the high angle and curved edges forces their face to point slightly downward. This worked well for me for about 2.5 months. I was hoping to get more use out of it though.

Overall 5 stars and has been a great addition to breastfeeding journey! Pros: This pillow is a must for babies dealing with reflux given the more elevated positioning for their heads. The fill is very firm to hold baby at the perfect height for breastfeeding. Also love that the strap keeps the pillow in place and doesn't slide all around. The cover is soft and easily machine washable- highly recommended grabbing an extra for wash days. Cons: The covers are not water proof, which is a problem if you have a happy spitter. Learned the hard way that breast milk can soak into the pillow fill and cause a bad odor. Scrubbed the pillow and air dried for days to try to remove the smell. Using mushie waterproof changing pad covers over the pillow to help avoid this moving forward. Also wish the strap was wider and maybe had some kind of back support. The thin strap does start to dig in during longer sessions.

Love this for nursing. Could not feed without this pillow. It’s our norm now. It does keep the head slightly elevated than the rest of the body. Which helps with reflux. Good quality. It’s a bit firm. I like the buckle to keep the pillow in place and hideaway pockets when you don’t need them. Including a handle type strap to carry it around

Without the long carry strap attached it’s difficult to actually get ahold of this dense pillow. The handles are hard to grab and it became too frustrating to use single handedly while holding an infant. I’ll give it away.

For the most part I love the pillow. It is firm, I can clip it on and move around whilst feeding, the best pillow for feeding in bed, that i have found. I do wish it was a little thinner. I have a short torso and this is my second baby so my breast are saggy and the pillow is a tad tall. I have to sit up 100% straight which can be annoying. I would give 5 stars if it was thinner, yet still firm. Maybe something the company could look into, for us mamas with shorter torsos.

I’m a petite person (5”1’) and this pillow is perfect to position the baby in the ideal spot. With the other pillows I’ve tried (boppy regular, mybrestfriend, Momcozy), I’ve needed to put pillows underneath to put the baby in the ideal spot, but this one is perfect. I also love the buckle as it keeps the pillow in place and I love that this pillow takes up less space than all the other ones I have tried. Two things to consider: 1. The pillow is heavy and when you stand up, it will slump down (as opposed to Momcozy and mybrestfriend that stay in place) 2. When breastfeeding and switching sides, you’ll either have to take the pillow off and flip it, or slide the pillow to the side (rotate it one quarter turn) to make sure the baby’s head is elevated to the other breast.

Great nursing pillow. Would recommend!
