Game changer - my ASD 5yo son was constant chewing toys, clothes etc as a way to regulate at home and in his class. Tried these out and winner winner - firstly, lots of stunning colours for him to choose from each day to fit his outfits (he likes to match), so he loved the choice and great value for money. Enough to put a few in his school bag and send to his grandmas house so he has use of them there too. Secondly, they do weaken and break down over time, which I’ve seen others complain about, but so will anything if you chew it long enough. The shape is thick and sturdy with nicely textured bumps around the bottom he really likes, and they have a good mid to firm bite that lasts well also things considered for the nature of the item. Necklace part is easily adjustable - just pull through and tie the knot a little further up the string and cut to size, and has a quick and safe “breakaway” feature if pulled to remove safely which is a godsend if you’re a worry wart like me.

Great for mild-moderate chewing. Haven't been ruined yet, like some others we've tried previously. Not sure how well they'd hold up with heavy/constant chewing. These help with a child who chews their clothes a lot, bites, or chews fingers etc. Safety clasp on the necklace so they come off if pulled too hard. Nice colours. Overall, very happy with these so far.

Very soft, each one lasted less than hour but boys are heavy chewers, even the less chewing child destroyed his quickly, but they are older children so suggest for under 10s and lighter chewers.

This is a lovely purchase my boy has autism and adhd he chews his drawstrings so this was recommended by the school to chew. The colours are nice varied and the product is not too big and comes with as a necklace so hopefully will not get lost.

I had to put 3 in one and shorten the rope and applied to my toddlers stroller (not neck), it kept him occupied for a bit.

Thought they were good to start with but after a month or so, one has split and so needs to be thrown away. They should be indestructible.

Bought these for my three children, who have used them a lot since being bought. One even takes hers to school with her. Easily hidden under clothes if a child feels uncomfortable having it on show

These chew necklaces were helpful for my son, who tends to chew on his shirt when he gets overwhelmed or needs sensory input. They did serve their purpose at first and helped redirect that habit, which was really nice to see. The colors are bright and kid-friendly, and he was interested in using them right away. However, the material was a bit too hard for him at first, and he didn’t take to the texture as easily as expected. Another concern was durability — he was able to chew through the hole where the string goes, and the pieces eventually came off the cord. Because of that, I didn’t feel comfortable continuing to use them due to the potential choking hazard, so we had to stop using them. They may work better for other children depending on chewing strength and sensory needs, but in our experience, they weren’t safe enough for continued use.
