Wonderskin Lip Stain – Long Lasting, Waterproof, Lip Tint Peel Off Masque

Nice lipstain. Looks very natural on the lips. You have to exfoliate your lips before you use it. The colour lasts all day! The only issue I had was with the shade which I expected to be more orange but on my lips it turned out purpleish.

I don’t know whether I just got a faulty one but this just doesn’t work for me at all - just leaves me with a strange patch in the middle of my lips. Gutted as it wasn’t cheap

Lovely lip stain. I have bought several of these and they work really well.Apply a thick blue later onto your lips and leave for 5 mins then just wipe off and your lips are a lovely pink colour. It is obviously somewhat matt so you need to apply a gloss/gel over if you want a glossy appearance but the colour does last for ages once done.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share because I think this product is quite expensive for what you actually get. I followed the prep advice from other reviews I exfoliated my lips and applied a barrier of Vaseline a few hours beforehand to keep them hydrated. I have on the shade “Hush,” expecting a natural nude tone, but it came out much richer and more red than I’d anticipated. It also clung to the dry areas on my bottom lip, which made the finish look uneven.I already have a nice shade of a natural lip but wanted to try a more nude brownish shade as my lips are pink.Smells nice left a little stinging feeling which I expected from other reviews.BeforeAfterWith lip oil

I LOVE this shade (Hush). It has a lovely warm undertone and, on my fairly neutral skin tone, it looks surprisingly natural – almost like a slightly more interesting nude.In the photo I've added, I'm wearing two layers of the same lip stain, which is how I tend to apply it most days, followed by a hydrating lip balm over the top. I really like the result and find it very easy to wear as an everyday colour.One thing you can probably also see in my photo, though, is that the stain doesn't necessarily develop completely evenly if your lips have any dryness or uneven texture. Different areas can end up taking the colour slightly differently. It's not a massive issue for me (clearly, considering how often I wear it!), but it's worth knowing if you're expecting a completely uniform finish.The tint IS genuinely long-lasting in my experience, although I wouldn't call it completely meal-proof. The middle section of my lips tends to lose colour when I eat, while the stain around the outside stays put, so I normally either reapply afterwards or go over the centre with a coloured lip balm.With that said, even with those little annoyances, I keep reaching for it because the colour is just SO good. Warm, natural-looking and flattering without being boring. :)

This is my honest review. I had such high expectations of this lip stain. Love a lippy but I don’t like or have the time to continuously apply lipstick throughout the day so I thought these would be perfect. I went all out, purchased 5 stains over the period of 2 weeks also the clear gloss and a lip pencil from Amazon and Wonderskin itself. Whimsical, Hush, Lovely, Adore and Xoxo. The clear gloss and Saddle colour lip pencil. Not a cheap outlay!I followed the instructions to the letter and watched Wonderskin tutorials. My lips have no dryness and I had no other products on before use. They are easy to apply but you do need to take your time. I applied them properly (at different times!) little bit of tingling from all of them on application and I felt they were a little bit drying too. The colours are all lovely that’s the only bonus. Left on as per instruction then wiped off lightly with a damp cotton pad, some of the colour does come off. It doesn’t smudge once applied and dry and leaves a Matt finish unless you apply the Wonderskin clear gloss on top.Every single colour bar one Hush I tried probably lasted 2 hours max. The colour just disappeared from the middle of my lips and I was left with colouring on the outside of my lips. It disappeared even quicker if eating or had a hot drink. It then just made my lips look weird!I honestly was so disappointed with this product but reading other reviews on other social media platforms etc I’m not the only one to experience this issue yet Wonderskin seem to only show the positive side of this product.They are not cheap, do not last as advertised and are not value for money. I gave every colour a fair chance too but it happened every time.The lip pencil Saddle was fine went on really nicely and did last. The colours are lovely on initial application but the longevity of this product is very poor for what they cost. I wouldn’t purchase any of them again. Very expensive disappointing mistake.

I never ever leave reviews and especially negative ones if I dont like something ill send it back without a review. I know I bought this and I did see reviews on it but I did not expect this to happen. First time using it my lips and they were burning, took it off and it looked fine, no issues later on when I took my make up I kept scrubbing my lips thinking it was makeup my lips are completely marked or looks like they've reacted to this product. I dont have sensitive skin ive had lip stains before and no reaction but the picture will speak for itself.

Love this product! It’s so easy to use and creates the perfect nude-brown lip look for everyday wear. It lasts all day and only fades slightly by the end.I did notice that when my lips were dry or cracked, it could emphasize those areas a bit and create some visible lines. No product is perfect, but this one is still amazing despite that small drawback.

Love this stuff! The key is to make sure your lips are well hydrated, exfoliate if you have dry patches. The pics are my lips before (with moisturizer balm on which I wiped off well before applying ) second pic is Hush application, packed on well, over lined so you can see the amount of staining beyond the lip line, third pic is after 5 minutes, wiped clean, last pic is with a lip gloss over it. I find it lasts well, even through drinking, but eating definitely fades it if you do a lot of mouth wiping. Super happy and will be buying more colors!Edit- just added Whimsical with chapstick over it, the last pic.. my new fav!
