We LOVE our Marimos!
We love our Marimos! They arrived in a plastic container with no water, but they had a couple of little "friends" in there too! The big Marimos were definitely soft-ball sized and had very little brown on them. They fluffed out even bigger after they had been in water a couple of days. The little free ones were about the size of a Quarter and were also healthy. I highly recommend this seller. If I ever have occasion to order these again I will re-order from the same place. Excellent quality at a great price point. I was in Pet Smart yesterday and they had tiny Marimos (The size of the two free ones I got) at the same price as one of the big ones here. kind of like a memory foam mattress
While this came in an extremely fast way, bright green and the size that was promised (plus two addition little guys) - there was no water left in the container that held them so I fear these little guys were no longer living once I put them in the tank. The giant one still is floating at the top after three days of being in the tank (normally they sink within a couple hours) which might also indicate no life left in him :/ Thank you for your quick delivery but you may want to add more water to the container next time so they have a chance to survive the trip. P.S. For others who may purchase these little guys, you can tell if they are still living by their "bounce back" if pressed gently - they are supposed to spring back, kind of like a memory foam mattress.

Make sure to order from this Vendor, Aquatic Arts!- they are not all the 'same'
Just received my second order from Aquatic Arts - Soooooooooooo Excellent/Best .. Etc! They really do have the best Marimo Moss balls.. Now, this is the third time ordering a moss ball for my betta. The last time I inadvertently ordered from another amazon vendor and knew immediately that I had made a mistake, as the moss ball came packaged in a plastic bag & was dried out - not to mention it turned grayish in color after a month. Whereas with Aquatic Arts Moss ball (s) - they send it along with an extra one, I call Jr.) In a container. Like my first order from AA, they arrived very green and very healthy looking.. Also, with the exception of my last order that came from another vendor, if you give the moss ball a good 'rinse' through every once in a while, it will keep its green and remain very healthy looking.

Lovin' my Marimo New Plant Pets
This Super Giant Marimo is so cool and so Awesome! Its just as described by seller and by customer reviews! It arrived very quickly, and was packed really well in a rigid plastic container with bit of water to keep it moist. Included with this giant marimo is two marble sized marimo. After soaking and cleaning them, it became huge like a baseball and ping pong balls. Cleaning was really easy because the balls were fairly dense and quite clean. Instructions on how to prep the marimo are included. Very healthy, vibrant and green and no brown spots. I am really happy with my new plant pets! Hope my Marimo lasts a lifetime!

I bought 2 orders of moss balls from this seller and both orders were excellent. It has been about a month and they are all doing well. Both orders came with a couple extra smaller balls, so I received 6 balls total. This order had the softball sized one in it, and it is huge! It fluffed up after being in the water a couple days to probably bigger than a softball. I had fun making homes for them all, I just used old jars around the house and rocks from the garden and a little aquarium pebbles for color

Really large for a Moss Ball
I LOVE THESE MOSS BALLS!Would have given 5 stars but this ball has a brown patch on it.Hopefully it will be completely green in another month.Floating around the tank.Keeping my fingers crossed.Super fast shipping too.

Magnificent Marimo!!
This is a big, beautiful, healthy marimo that is sure to become my betta’s bestie! Aquatic Arts was super quick to ship and packed the marimo with care. Order from them!UPDATE: i just placed my 2nd order with AA about a year later. These marimo didn’t arrive in such vibrant shape. The balls seem much less dense and have brown spots. They don’t seem sad enough to complain to AA about yet. I will wait to see if I can reinvigorate them. Took off a star.

Perfect!
I ordered one of these, and ended up with a GIANT marimo, plus two smaller ones. :) I'm not at all unhappy about getting some extra, though! I just can't even express how great these are, almost every other marimo I've bought online have had breed seams, nearly splitting in half, brown spots and such... But these are absolutely perfect. They were shipped in a small plastic cup, no water but there was plenty of humidity (condensation on the inside) to keep them happy for a few days, so don't be alarmed if they show up without water! :PAnyway, I'm definitely going to buy again in the future! :)
