I originally bought the 1 lb tub after having it recommended for sensitive skin, as I have very sensitive skin that is both acne-prone and eczema-prone so I am extremely cautious about the products I use, I was worried this lotion would be too oily, thick, or greasy and result in acne flares. I was completely wrong. Thankfully, this formula has been very gentle and hasn’t caused any irritation. I purchased my first jar in January 2025 and I’m honestly shocked that I’m only just now buying a refill over a year later — and my original jar still isn’t completely empty. A little truly goes a long way. One thing I really appreciate is the short ingredient list and the fact that it’s completely fragrance free, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin. Even though the cream looks thick and white in the jar, it absorbs surprisingly well into the skin. It leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated and nourished without leaving behind a greasy residue or white cast. The only downside is that the tub packaging can feel a little less hygienic than a pump. They do sell a pump version, but when restocking I’d rather not pay extra for the pump each time. I ended up just saving the pump from my first jar and swapping it onto the refill, which works perfectly. Overall, this has become a staple in my skincare routine. If you struggle with dry or sensitive skin and are hesitant about thicker creams, this one is definitely worth trying.

Can use this on both my face and body. Worth the money. Doesn't irritate my sensitive, eczema-prone skin. My sister uses this as well.

Fragrance free , lightweight and gentle on my baby’s eczema skin. I like the fact that it has minimal ingredients and gives minimal irritations (mostly caused by heat). It does moisturize but i find that i have to reapply quite often to keep baby’s skin hydrated. After trying this , I decided to purchase the baby version which I also find suitable for my baby’s skin

Recommended by my dermatologist when by back was severely dry, I have put it on Subscription and put it on my back after every shower. The problem has not returned!

I have incredibly sensitive skin that usually reacts to everything, but this is one of the few lotions that actually calms things down without causing a breakout or stinging. It’s definitely a thicker cream, but it absorbs surprisingly well and doesn't leave that greasy, heavy film behind. I love that it’s fragrance-free and dye-free—it just feels very "clean" and medical-grade. My hands have been feeling so much better after just a few days of using it, especially with all the extra hand-washing lately. If you struggle with eczema or just really dry, irritated skin, this is a total lifesaver that actually does what it claims.

I have been using Vanicream products for several years since my dermatologist recommended them. PROS: -works well for my sensitive skin. -Does not contain aloe (which I am allergic to) -Comes in a tub. I try to never buy pumps- it’s so difficult to get the cream out fully so those are a waste of money for me. CONS: -The cream is a little oily. - Pretty expensive.

Vanicream was recommended to our family by a dermatologist. The primary issue - we all have varying dryness needs. One person has psoriasis; two have a sort of skin sensitivity that leaves them dry and itchy. Vanicream handles all of us! No more ashy knees and elbows, no more itchy shins, no more sensation of "my skin is so dry it feels tight". We use it all over, face to toes. When applied thick, you can see white streaks; think - sunblock. Massage it in and it disappears. For the face at night, we use a thicker layer, but it absorbs. The consistency is always a thicker, heavier lotion. The squeeze tube is a thinner one. This is thick and extraordinarily high quality. I can't recommend it enough - even if you just get seasonal dryness, this stuff takes care of it. It's worth every penny!

I’ve been using this lotion for several years & it has made my skin so soft. I really love that it’s fragrance free as well. It is a thicker lotion, which is really nice. Sometimes I buy the pump version & sometimes I don’t. I like having a plain lid to swap out with to take to work when it gets lower & doesn’t pump out anymore.

Yeah, I'm converted. This is such a huge jar and I can instantly feel the impact on my sensitive skin, especially after starting tretinoin. If things continue as they do I will use this cream indefinitely. It feels very heavy and greasy going on but within five or so minutes my skin has absorbed it and turned soft and calm. Really impressed overall with the this product.

Very hydrating. Not too thick. Easy to apply. Best moisturizer
