MSI MPG A850GS PCIE5, Fully Modular Gaming 850W Power Supply, 80+ Gold is an absolute beast of a power supply. Packaging was excellent, and everything arrived in perfect condition. Installation was straightforward thanks to the fully modular design, which made cable management much cleaner than previous power supplies I've used. The build quality feels premium, and the included dual 12V-2x6 cables are a nice bonus for high-end GPUs. Knowing it's ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 ready gives me confidence that this PSU will handle future upgrades without any issues. The unit runs extremely quiet, and the 80+ Titanium efficiency is a great feature for reducing wasted power and heat. MSI also backs this power supply with a 12-year warranty, which speaks volumes about their confidence in the product's reliability. If you're building a high-performance gaming or workstation PC and want a top-tier PSU that should last for many years, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

Drawing an average of 450 watts, I can not hear any noise from the fans. The cables are durable and easy to install into your motherboard, it is not your common red and yellow wires, the wires are insulated with some sort of sleeve. So, far the PSU has not presented any issues, as expected from MSI.

Solid product. Only tip, when connecting everything connect it disconnect it and reconnect it. And make sure you press it in very hard. It works well and is surprisingly very quiet

The MPG A850GS provides enough power for the 9800X30 and RX9070 XT build that I have, with some room to grow. Overall I really like the size of the power supply it's been a while since I have purchased a PC power supply and was kind of surprised by how compact the unit is. It's fully modular and provides more than enough cables for nearly any build. The unit is quiet even with the fan on, it also offers a silent operation mode if you need that. So far I do not detect any type of coil whine or anything that would impede it's operation. I am extremely happy with how this unit performs and functions. It was super easy to install and it feels quality built. The durability should last for years. The warranty is top notch too!

I have an A850GS powering a Ryzen 7600X3D and an RTX5080. It has been handling my system flawlessly as for as I can tell. It is PCIE 5.0 ready so it comes with the 12VHPWR cable included with a designated spot on the PSU. This is great because the 5080 came with an 2-1 adapter cable with I had preferred not to use if possible. Speaking of cables they could have added an additional PCIe cable but not an issue. Each of the wires are individually sleeved and have combs on the to look appealing. Downside to the wires are that they are a little ridged and not very flexible. In my use case I do not use the quiet mode but the PSU is still silent to me and sits rights on my desk which is a plus. Good PSU would recommend.

Great product, very good and from a reputable brand. It worked flawlessly; like all power supplies, the 24-pin connector is a bit stiff, but otherwise excellent. I recommend it for high-end builds.

Ce que je préfère avec la MSI MPG A850GS PCIE5, c’est son fonctionnement très silencieux et sa qualité de fabrication. L’alimentation est entièrement modulaire, ce qui facilite énormément la gestion des câbles et permet d’obtenir un montage propre avec une meilleure circulation de l’air dans le boîtier. Les câbles gainés donnent également une finition soignée à l’ensemble. J’ai choisi cette alimentation parce qu’elle est compatible avec les dernières normes ATX 3.1 et PCIe 5.1, ce qui en fait un excellent choix pour une configuration moderne équipée d’une carte graphique récente. Sa certification 80 Plus Gold et sa garantie de 10 ans m’ont aussi donné confiance quant à sa fiabilité sur le long terme. Elle répond parfaitement à mes besoins et dépasse même mes attentes. Les 850 W offrent une bonne marge pour les composants actuels ainsi que pour de futures mises à niveau, tout en maintenant une excellente stabilité de l’alimentation. À mes yeux, ses principaux points forts sont son excellente efficacité énergétique, son fonctionnement discret, sa conception entièrement modulaire, ses câbles de qualité et sa compatibilité avec les technologies les plus récentes. Le seul petit point à améliorer serait d’inclure davantage d’attaches ou d’accessoires pour le rangement des câbles. Dans l’ensemble, c’est une alimentation fiable, performante et de grande qualité que je recommande sans hésitation.
