I used it with my cocker spaniel Excellent results but prolonged use heats the blades which may disturb the dog Didn't try the nail compartment yet. You need to comb the hair first in case of long hair and use the longer combs then decrease till the desired hair length. The sound and the vibration didn't disturb the dog on the contrary she enjoyed the vibration as tickling especially on the lower back just above the tail.

Amazing clipper
Itโs really good! I have a medium-to-large dog, and grooming him used about 70% of the battery. Itโs not noisy at all. If you notice any unusual noise, you may just need to adjust or reattach the blade properly. I wish the trimmer had a larger guard comb for fluffy coats, but overall, it works well.

Great buy for first time groomer
This set has worked out amazingly well for my dogs. I am new to grooming but there are enough options to change the glides or trimming the hair in between your dogs paws, etc. and the sound is not intimidating. My dogs have done well with it and there are usually scared of everything.
