Like some of the other dried veggies I now use for cooking, these have been very tasty and easy to use, and not just in cooking. I've found that instead of trying to keep some fresh carrots around to chop for various salads, etc., these work great, especially if hydrated overnight in the fridge. They plump up just like chopped fresh carrots and taste just as well, too. To go with the meal I was preparing, instead of hydrating in water, I use white wine and this turned out to make the salad even better - even according to all the guests. Try it.

Using these in chicken soup - they are great, rehydrate pretty quickly and don't dissolve at all when cooked. They are pretty small when hydrated, more like flakes than cubes, so they won't add much in terms of actual mass. As an add in they are really easy to use and are a great addition.

Taste is great. I made so many dishes with these. The texture is a bit hard if you want to make carrot powder, but easy to use otherwise. Good quality, and ok price. Seems like they last forever so the shelf life is good.

I don't cook a lot but when making things like pinto beans & ham hocks, I'm definitely not running to the store to buy carrots 😅. For something I didn't even know existed, they worked well!

This Carrot Dice is really little, more like flakes but definitely usable but in a different way then why i bought them! They are convenient, easy to use ie put into a stew or a cake. The size of package is convenient and has a good amount but again, the dice is more like a shred so keep that in mind if your purchase.
