Ridiculously convenient
I love these things so much. I have giant over-ear cans from Sony that I love for their noise cancelling, but have always had issues with their lack of portability. Earbuds tend to either fall out or hurt my ears. Noise cancelling is great when you're stationary, but have always caused issues for me when I'm on the move - the lack of situational awareness annoys me. These ear cuffs solve that issue. My ear canal isn't isolated, I can hear my surroundings but ALSO hear my music/calls. I use them for conference calls all the time. They're fantastic. I can be in a store shopping and be on a call without being "that jerk" being loud because I can still hear myself AND my surroundings and know if I'm being a nuisance. Comfort-wise they're great - I tend to forget I have them on. Audio quality is quite nice, though not as nice as you would get with more premium options. For non-sealed calls/music they're surprisingly good, especially for the low cost. Battery life is also excellent. My ears can get a tiny bit sore if I wear them a lot for multiple days running, but they're still better than cans/buds. I just move them up or down a bit and then it's fine. They're snug but they don't pinch, YMMV depending on your ear shape/thickness. I've never used them anywhere near their maximum volume. That being said, if someone is on top of you they can hear your music/call depending on your volume, but they have to be really trying. If I ever end up losing and/or breaking these, I'm buying a replacement pair immediately.

Normal guy with honest review. BUY THEM.
I spent at least 10 hours looking for And watching videos about in the ear and over-the-ear earbuds. I got these as a Christmas present to myself and I couldn't be happier. All the videos were true, I purchased them for $99 before Christmas and they are excellent! It's the first pair of over-the-ear earbuds I've ever owned and I love them. I've always owned the noise canceling in ear earbuds but after hours of listening, they're so uncomfortable. But obviously that's a difference between the two. I like them because I can hear everything around me at a lower volume, situational awareness, yet they're loud enough to drown out outside noise depending on what you're doing. They're so comfortable I literally don't even feel them on my ears. Emphasis, on my ears. Additionally, they will never fall off no matter what you're doing, unless you're boxing or wrestling. The sound is great, the app is great and the comfort is perfect. They connect to two devices at once and while you're watching one and then switch to the other it changes flawlessly and goes back flawlessly. IE, TV to phone. Based on my OCD research, they are perfect for what I need them for. Hearing outside noise when I want to and being loud enough when I'm outside. I almost forgot, the call clarity is perfect. I can hear everyone. And when I tell them I have these new earbuds in they tell me they can hear me perfectly, indoors and outside. Like I said, I reviewed so many for hours and decided on these. I'm so glad I did. 5 stars all the way. Not one negative thing about them. Oh, And the battery life lasts forever. I've had them in my ears for over 7 hours and they still held up. The app will tell you how much battery life remains and how much battery is left in your charging case. And I think if you drop them in the case for 15 or 30 minutes you get another 3 hours of use. I'm guessing 30 minutes in the case, they're fully charged. Anker, who I thought was only battery chargers owns soundcore. I still have one of their battery chargers from 10 years ago and it's working like the day bought it. I really hope this long review convinces you to buy what I was hoping for. Which is exactly what wanted and got. And I wish more normal people like me would post like I just did, to let people know honestly what they should buy without being sent one for free and then BSing everyone. Wait until they're on sale for $99 again.

Far exceeded my expectations
I had been looking for new earbuds with some sort of 'be aware' mode on them - I have two pairs of galaxy bud pro 2 and while they do have this function, it only works with both earbuds in. I have pretty severe hearing loss in my left ear due to meniere's disease, and I want to be able to wear a single earbud at work sometimes, but if I have an earbud in the right my hearing is bad enough that I can't make out much with just my left ear. So I was on the lookout for some cheap-ish earbuds just for work, that would do this with only one earbud in use. I had gotten plenty of answers and was about to shell out close to 300 for a nice pair that I'd end up using everywhere, but then someone on a forum said 'honestly since I've gotten my open ear buds I have never used the safety / be aware mode on any of my others'. I said I'd scrolled past this type of bud before but had honestly just skipped right past - with how they're made and it just being a tiny speaker in your ear, that everyone around you would be able to hear what you're playing and at that point I might as well just play audio out of my watch or something. I'm SO glad I looked into it further and bought these. I'm sort of a sound quality snob, I have owned everything from jlab to Sennheiser and when I say the sound coming out of these is fantastic for the size of the hardware and the fact that its not direction in / enclosed over your ear, I'm not exaggerating. I bought them mostly for audiobooks, but I've had music on them too and have no complaints. They are so comfortable that I quite literally forget I have them on - yesterday towards the end of my shift I was digging around in my pockets thinking 'oh great they fell out and i lost it already' until i turned my head and just barely felt that it was STILL ON MY EAR. 😭 the part that sits in your inner ear is so small and smooth, I have a conch piercing and have no issues wearing either a stud or a hoop along with these, which is usually a factor with other earbuds (one of the reasons I used my galaxy buds a lot of the time) and the back part doesn't mess with my 3 lobe piercings or the back of the conch. I can hear EVERYTHING. Everything. I couldnt be happier with this part - I can have them in and have the volume up pretty darn high, and can still SO easily make out the people around me. It's not muffled, I dont have to ask them to repeat themselves or try to combine lip reading with the half-sound I'm hearing. They autoconnect with no issue, they connect to multiple devices at once, the range before Bluetooth issues cut things up seems to be far greater than other buds I have, and the battery life gets me through an entire work week easily. At first I thought the battery life far exceeded whats advertised, but then realized that because I'm only using the one bud at a time the case isn't going through it's charge as quickly as normal - after a 32 hour work week though, the case is still at ~60%... Could not be happier. Would gladly spend the money again.

Great sound and comfortable to wear
Outstanding customer service. The best ear buds for me so far. Unfortunately after 7 months of 5 day a week use about 1-3 hours a day cycling they developed distortion in the right ear then both ears. I tried all the usual steps, cleaning, resetting, equalizer settings but even at low volume they sounded bad. I purchased with Amazon from the Anker store in October. I turned in a warranty request on Saturday Apr and received an email an hour later. I followed the trouble shooting steps they asked for and it it did not help and so replied back. A bit later they offered to send a full replacement but only in black. I wanted my original color and replied back. The next day they offered to send me my original color ear buds only no charging case which was great. The charging case was fine. They were delivered today and work fantastic. Great customer service with just a few emails. I have had about 6 different types of Anker ear buds in the last 10 years and all held up well. I am a bicycle commuter riding all year around in Colorado even in low 10 degree mornings. These are the best so far as I can wear both ear buds and still hear cars, people, etc. when riding. You can customize what the double and single tap control for left and right bud using their app and it saves those settings without having to keep the app open. I am using volume up, track advance and volume down track previous. The taps work even under head gear covering my ears! I wish I could do more than two or three taps like 4 taps so I could add a pause or mute. The only negative is when riding at high speeds the wind noise drowns out the music but that is to be expected as they are open ear. With head gear on over the ears in cool weather this is not an issue. I can wear my helmet and glasses with no ear buds hooks over the top of my ear. These do not come out when riding very good secure fit. I know they will fix the distortion issue as it seems common but I am very happy with these for cycling and in their app I changed to LDAC which sounds even better.

These headphones are as annoying as they are great
I purchased the Soundcore open ear buds because my ears are too small for in ear style earbuds and I wanted to try this style. I've been using these almost every day for the last 6 months. In general, I would say they are a solid purchase but there are several major annoyances that prevent me from rating them higher. Pros: I genuinely like the sound. I'm a casual music listener so things like bass levels or more nuanced audio quality aren't things that affect my listening enjoyment. For what I use them for - phone calls, Spotify, social media videos - I think they're perfect. I feel like when I'm using them I'm getting a surround sound experience and I like that I don't get that isolated sensation that comes with traditional bud style headphones that are noise cancelling. Battery life has been excellent and after 6 months of using almost every day for 1-4 hours a day they still work like new. Cons: My biggest gripe is the connectivity, or more specifically the ability to disconnect. They connect to my phone just fine. Getting them to disconnect when I'm done is so frustrating. When I finish with them and put them back in their holder, more often than not they remain connected to my phone. They will register as being in the carrier and charging, but the bluetooth will stay connected and continually override my phone audio. Cleaning the sensors, un-pairing and then re-pairing the device, manually switching to phone audio from bluetooth are all no-gos. It has gotten to the point where I'm ready to be that person walking around in public with my phone on speakerphone because I'm loathe to connect to these headphones again once I finally manage to get them to disconnect. My other complaint would be the weight and general ear comfort. When you seat them properly on your ear, they are comfortably. However, gravity is going to do its thing and as a result they slide down fairly quickly and the weight of them resting against my earlobe when this happens can be very uncomfortable. Yes, they can be repositioned but if you try to do that while talking on the phone you'll end up disconnecting the call and now my friends and family are just growing accustomed to being hung up on a few times each time we chat.

Great quality and GREAT customer service!
I have had these earbuds for over a year now and I could not love them more. They are the most comfortable open ear buds I have tried and they're very secure. I love that you can download the app and adjust the sounds settings and controls for them as well. ALSO they have a great 18 month warranty. One of my earbuds had begun to lose sound quality around 16 months in and I was unable to fix it on my own. Anker had me send them back to them and they replaced them for me without any issues. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality open ear earbud for a great price!

Life Imitates Art With This Design
I had high hopes for these earbud headphones, and they surprised me. Firstly, I got this because of the design. I was specifically looking for clip-on earphones that look like the communicators used in J.J. Abrams' television show 'Fringe'. In the 2008 show, an alternate reality uses a similar-looking earring-band headphone to talk to each other. I thought they were cool at the time and didn't think those things could be possible. Enter 2016, with the release of AirPods, and earbuds changed after that. While this doesn't look exactly like the TV show version (which had a band nearly twice the size), this Soundcore AeroClip is a reasonably realistic interpretation of the design. It clips around your earlobes, looks like a cool earring, and is open-eared so you can hear your surroundings and your music. I've seen similar versions that tried to make the ring portion smaller, but I like the thickness of this band along with the ring shape. The audio quality on this is astounding the first time you put it on. If you are home alone with little environmental noise, these things pack a punch. It's got solid bass and a good sound profile. This was very surprising. However, I live in New York City and ride subways a lot. On the subway, it's hard to hear your music unless you turn up the volume. So depending on where you have these on might cause you to have a different experience. It does not have noise cancellation because it is an open-ear design meant for you to hear your surroundings. In terms of customization, a Soundcore app will allow you to adjust the EQ to your preference, even though the default is solid. You can also adjust the tapping on each earpiece to do different things. Example: for me, the right earbud is tapped twice to pause music, and three times to skip to the next track; and the left side I set to tap three times to increase volume, and twice to decrease. This is all customizable to what makes sense to you. The app is also a way to upgrade any firmware in the future. Overall, I really like these headphones. It's got deep bass and customization. And I get to live my TV fantasy of owning future tech, which, when compared to 2008—we are in the future! Highly recommended.

I weat these more often than my buds now
I really like these - I mostly got them for paddling so I could hear the natural sounds around me, have conversations, etc. But now I only wear my in-ear buds if I want the noise-cancelling, or I want the more dynamic sound signature that only a plugged-up ear canal gives you. I'm picky about sound, and these have a very natural, if somewhat limited in dynamics, sound. It was easy to find a tuning (volume and EQ) that let me enjoy the music. I'm not constantly thinking, if only they had more treble, or if only the mids were better. I should say these are not audiophile; you are not going to hear the beater on the kick drum, or other details, but the overall presentation is natural and enjoyable I don't feel like I need to carry my case with these because there is nothing in my ear. I can carry on a normal conversation (with or without music playing). And they just don't bother your ears the way in-ears do, so they can just stay "attached" until I get back to where my case is. They feel secure enough that I can use them to play disc golf. All that said, in-ears do have their place and have a more engaging/punchy/dynamic sound. But again I'm very picky about sound, and if these had major faults in sound quality I'd be writing about it. I no longer worry about the quality of ambient mode with earbuds... I just wear these. And I tend to reach for these rather than my Bluetooth speaker for the workshop or yard work. I only took a star off for comfort. They do bother my ears a little bit after an hour or two, but this is a VERY minor complaint.

Pleasantly surprised
I wanted an open ear earbud for when I go jogging or cycling for safety reasons, so sound quality was not my priority nor was I expecting much as open ear earbuds are not known for great sound. Hence, I didn’t see the need to go for an expensive brand. However, I was quite surprised by the sound quality these buds produced, quite good and a great value for what they cost.

They do not block any outdoor sounds
Was purchased for my boyfriend as a gift, he did not like it and I had to return:( He said he hears everything and barely hears music. As for the microrphone quality - not better that any cheap earbuds, same sound everywhere.

Big thumbs up!
Mega pozytywne zaskoczenie!! Słuchawki są ultralekkie, ich komfort noszenia nieporównywalny do żadnych innych, a jakoś słuchania nie odbiega od słuchawek dokanałowych. Z całego serca polecam!
