One of my all-time favorite work-to-eat toys for dogs!
I absolutely love these toys! DURABILITY: I admit, I don't have power chewers in my home the way many terriers are power chewers. However, my Saint Bernard has pretty strong jaws so even though he doesn't intend to be a power chewer, it doesn't take much for him to damage most toys, especially ones like this that aren't quite intended for dogs his size. Nonetheless, I've had these toys for two years now - they have each been used hundreds of times (and been run through the dishwasher as many times) and are still in nearly-pristine shape. Amazing! EASE OF FILLING: These are generally much easier to stuff than Kongs, and I get that feedback from the dog training clients I recommend them to as well. There is a bigger opening for stuffing items in. While the relative ease of stuffing would seem like it would result in this toy being easier to empty for dogs, that is not necessarily the case. Depending on what you stuff this with, how tightly you stuff it, and whether or not you freeze it, you may find this lasts just as long as a Kong. By the time I ordered these, my dogs had already been Kong pros for years and liked the novel challenge a different work-to-eat toy presented. There were times that it would actually take my Mokie girl, a prodigy at WTE (work to eat) toys, longer to "destuff" than an actual Kong. VARIETY: I love the variety of things you can fit in this because of the larger opening. If you stick biscuits crosswise, they can be pretty hard for dogs to remove! You may also find other fillings (or any combination of fillings) appeal to your dogs. A few examples include: * canned dog food * raw dog food * healthy dinner leftovers * cottage cheese * unsweetened applesauce * peanut butter * fruits or steamed vegetables If your dog is not used to trying work to eat toys, you may want to let him have it a few times with "easy scores" hidden inside. As he gets better at the game and develops confidence and enthusiasm for trying to empty the Tux, you can make the game harder and more interesting by freezing it after stuffing! When you are ready to start freezing the Tux, you can mix any of the items from the list above with a bit of the dog's kibble (if your dog eats kibble). On cold days, you can also melt a bit of cheese in the bottom of the Tux! Just take a small bit of cheese, place it in the bottom of the Tux, place the Tux in a bowl or coffee mug so that it doesn't tip over, and microwave until the cheese is melted. WARNING: the cheese will be too hot for your dog to eat right away, so make sure you let it cool for a bit before offering it to him. Anyway, these toys are really awesome. Easy to use, easy to clean, fun to play with, easy to love! Great price for the quality and super durable. I love them!

Very sturdy
I never review things, but this deserves it!!! My golden retriever LOVES this toy. We put a milk bone in it & it occupies him for 30-60 minutes easily. Weโve had issues with him destroying everything to the point of obstruction. So far he hasnโt even put a dent in this.

Tough toy, a MUST for power chewers!
They were not lying when they said this toy was tough and for the most powerful chewers. My 110lb Berner is a gentle giant who loves to chew. She destroys toys and eats ropes in a record amount of time. Even giant Nylabones? Toast with this girl. I was sick of buying $20 toys claiming to be indestructible that she destroyed within a day. So, I set out to find some really tough toys from a great company who stands behind their product and offers a warranty or guarantee on their products. I stumbled upon West Paw and their toy did NOT disappoint. This toy is VERY hard and tough plastic. She can gnaw at it for hours and hours (and she does) and it looks pristine after every chew session. Well worth the pricetag. They also offer a great guarantee and you don't have to ship them back the ruined toy in order to get your replacement - which is awesome, because if I have to pay for the shipping to return it, why even both when I could just buy another toy? This is a big deal to me. I haven't had to get a replacement, and I don't foresee us needing one anytime in the near future, but it is great to know the option is there. BONUS: you can stuff treats or peanut butter inside! I like to put a few kibble in it, then fill it with chicken or beef broth (low-sodium!) and freeze it for a few hours. I swear this keeps her occupied for HOURS, plus it cools her off in the summer. No promises that it won't be messy, though! Would 100% recommend! Next toy I buy for her will definitely be another West Paw chew toy.

So far so good...
So far so good, we'll see what happens over time. That's probably most people have I've tried different supposedly indestructible chew toys and have had some last as little as two or three hours before showing serious wear. After a few days of really intense chewing for hours at a time this thing does not have a mark on it. Granted, my dog is a only a 70 lb boxer, but she has destroyed other things pretty easily. You can tell by the photos other people have posted that this item has pretty mixed reviews and while I can understand people being disappointed and irritated it does have a return warranty, so there really isn't a reason not to try it to see if it survives your doggy. I am giving it four stars instead of five because I'm not entirely satisfied with the little pocket where you put the treats. It's too big for anything but medium or large treats but then it's also kind of hard to get the larger treat out. I'm not really sure anyone has quite solved this problem, treat dispensing toys are kind of a dubious prospect. The other thing I like about this toy is its shape, which allows it to bounce irregularly if you throw it, and my dog gets very silly with it, pawing at it and bouncing it himself like a cat would. Anyway, give it a try and return it if it doesn't work out! Update: many weeks later and I am satisfied with how this toy has held up. The photos that I've attached are after many, many hours if single-minded, very dedicated chewing. You can see in one of the photos that it broke my dog :-). There are flecks of rubber missing but my dog has not been able to tear it to pieces or chew out large chunks like she has with every other so-called indestructible chew toy. I'm guessing I will have to buy a new one every three or four months, and that is okay.

This IS awesome! Fun, functional, bright, and perfect for my dog!
What a good find! {My chat BOT helper actually did research to help me find it! Handy} I ADORE this super cool, multipurpose dog toy...and so does my dog. Very durable, like heavy duty solid awesomeness that you can feel confident about -- even if you have a possible aggressive {rather, passionate and hard working?!} player and chewer. The bright citron color, my FAVE. Yes. The size and shape, perfect design. Yes. The material, texture, and durability, very well done and smart. Like a thick, smooth, sturdy but a bit flexible tough rubber. Another Yes. Then the design of the opening/pocket on underside, to put treats in and turn the fun toy into a yummy food or treat puzzle, the icing and cherry on top! It is so versatile...I've put all kinds of things in there so far: kibble, peanut butter, Kong spray food, jerky slabs {broken off and strategically put in there}, ice cubes {outside only}, some bully sticks or collagen sticks {if they wedge in there well}, wedge a nylabone in there and make a double/new toy combo, and then Blue Mountain Health Bars fit in there perfectly/snuggly.--a fave treat. This works great, easy to use, simple to keep clean, very safe to leave out all the time, and very fun to play with {with or without food in it} & for my dog to chew on {not even marks on it and I have a pretty passionate dog that likes to chew hard sometimes}. I bought this for our dog when she was around 3-4 months old, she loved it then. She is now 9months old and medium sized, around 42lbs, and still really loves it. Good for these ages so far and I'm sure will be a long time favorite staple around our house. Can't wait to try some of their other products. Thank you, happy dog and happy humans!

Durable
Love this! I put in dog food and water and then freeze them. Gives my pup some entertainment. Itโs the only toy he hasnโt eaten.

Not a winner for me
It's solid for sure but the space is far too big and very shallow for any treats I've found. I could fill it with nut butter or something and refrigerate and/or free it but, I don't want to. The mess it would make is beyond the value of the minimal effort he'd put in. I love that the company is in the US and uses recycled materials. 8 just don't love this product

Easy to fill , Easy to clean
I love these West Paws toys. Not only are they easy to fill, they are easy to clean. I buy two sizes. The small one for when I will be gone a short time and the large for when I will be gone longer. My dog loves these treats.

Excellent Activity Chew Toy
Picture above shows this West Paw toy after 3 months of DAILY chewing. I can see there are many months left in this unit. It really keeps my 1 year old beagle "Doug" busy and not worrying about me when I'm busy myself with chores around the house. I was spending a lot on beef bones, which of course he loves but are really expensive here. I could have many of these Zogoflex with what I've already spent on bones. So it was worth every penny. I tried different fillings, but Doug could get them out too quickly as they would bust apart, commercial biscuits, etc.. I've settled on simmered beef heart that is about 1/4 inch thick x 1 and 1/4 inch square. I jam that into the hole and he is at it for hours at a time. Beef heart is cheap in most grocery stores and it's lean and good for your dog. I cook up a bunch of heart cut, cut it into squares and keep them in the freezer. Thaw a few out at a time that last a day or two of chewing. Cool toy/device .. somebody was thinking!! I'm going to pick up another one of these units soon.

Indestructible!
I didn't think there was a dog toy that my Doberman couldn't destroy, until I found this brand. He's got three different ones now and loves to pack them around. It's actually made him stop destroying other toys. Who knew??
