​I recently purchased this rangefinder shown in image.png, and I am extremely impressed with its performance. It is compact, feels great in the hand, and is very easy to use on the course. The magnetic mount is a fantastic feature that makes it so convenient to attach to my cart, and having a rechargeable Li-on battery is a huge plus since I don’t have to worry about constantly replacing batteries. It provides accurate distances consistently, which has really helped my game. If you are looking for a reliable and high-quality rangefinder, I highly recommend this one!

Five stars! The target acquisition is super quick, and the yardage is spot on every time. On top of that, the compact size makes it so easy to handle on the course. Definitely worth buying!

I am incredibly impressed with this rangefinder. It hits every mark perfectly: Selectable Slope Function: The ability to easily toggle the slope functionality on and off is fantastic. It gives you accurate, adjusted yardages when you want them, but lets you quickly turn it off to keep things completely tournament-legal. Steady & Clear: The anti-shake image stabilization is a massive plus for those of us with shaky hands. The display itself is bright and crystal clear. Spot-On Flag Lock: Flagpole locking is a key element in a quality rangefinder, and Acer absolutely does not miss on this feature. It locks on quickly and confidently. Strong Magnet: The built-in magnet is remarkably strong and stable. It holds tight to the cart frame, even when you get a little overzealous driving through rougher terrain. Great Extras: The included carrying case is a very nice touch for storage. Plus, having a rechargeable battery saves me from the headache of constantly trying to find specific replacement batteries when I'm ready to play. Bought this because of the total number of reviews and the 5 star reviews along with price, name recognition, and features. Played 18 holes today with my son and compared it with his Bushnell A1 from various distances. Every laser was within 1 yard of the Bushnell. It was fast, clear, and easy to use. The stability control was a nice feature. I highly recommend this range finder. Very impressed with the quality of the product and the magnet was nice and strong. Easily a great rangefinder for under $100.

REVISION TO PRIOR REVIEW: At first this rangefinder worked fine and locked on to the pin and gave me an accurate yardage. But after about 10 rounds it's started to glitch out. Today I played a round with it and actually stopped using it after a few holes. It just wouldn't lock on to the pin and when it did I got five different yardages on five different attempts. Maybe the battery is getting low and that's the reason? I'll put in a fresh battery and see if it recovers its previous form. If it does, five stars because of the price. If it stays glitchy, I'll ding another star. Prior review below: All I want is a reliable rangefinder that locks on to the pin consistently and is capable of finding other targets (for layups, penalty clearances etc.). I really don't find myself needing all the other bells and whistles. This piece does the job and at under $100 is totally worth it. I played a round yesterday with it and it worked every time.

I just purchased the Acer Golf Rangefinder (SW-RF1000) and so far I’m very impressed! It arrived quickly, is well built, comes with a carry case, charging cable and lens cloth, and is very straightforward and easy to use! It’s well-designed, and small enough to be easy to hold comfortably. It seems to be very accurate as far as I can tell, and the optical quality of the display is very good. It has different modes of operation that are easy to cycle through (e.g. with/without the slope feature, flag lock, straight line, speed detection etc.). It also has a built-in magnetic strip on the side for attaching to a golf cart, as well as an adjustable +/- focus on the actual viewfinder to help focus the view clearly. If you’re in the market for a high-quality golf rangefinder, from a well-known and trusted brand, for under $100, I would highly recommend this!

Love the small but powerful range finder. Very impressed with its overall quality especially with a relatively low price point. The carrying case helps to keep it from getting damaged. Focus feature easy to use.

Looks good, lightweight, and picks up big objects like trees, people, hills and bunkers - however it DOES NOT pick up the flag, so basically useless for golf.

Super accurate

Instantly usable out of the box, this rangefinder performs exactly as expected for golfing. Outdoors, the display is perfectly readable and the flag-lock vibration feature works reliably. Nonetheless, it’s the distance readings that impress most by staying completely consistent. Liking the battery life so far, I also find the magnetic mount a convenient feature for a golf cart. Yielding great results for its intended purpose, it represents reasonable value. Delivering solid performance overall, it is easy to operate with minimal setup required. Indeed, the optics are sharp. Distance tracking is quite accurate. It functions well on the course. Totally adequate for everyday use. For the casual golfer, it does the trick. Overall, it’s a fine purchase. Really, it just works. The unit is lightweight. Handling it is a breeze. Every feature operates smoothly. Measurements come up quickly. On target every time. Nothing feels cheap about the build. Everything is well-designed. Your yardage is always clear. Buying this was a practical choice. All in all, it performs fine. Considering the features, it's good. Keeping it in my bag for now.

This thing is legit. Right out of the box, the build quality feels solid — nice rubberized grip, compact but sturdy, and it has a premium feel that I wasn’t expecting at this price point. The optics are clear and bright, even in less-than-perfect lighting. I tested it out at the range and on a few hikes, and the laser locks on targets fast and accurately every single time. I was getting consistent readings out to several hundred yards with no issues. It’s super easy to use too — one button operation basically. The display is crisp and easy to read, and it has all the modes you’d want (including scan mode). Battery life seems excellent so far; I’ve used it multiple times and it’s still going strong.
