Love it
There is too much to go over, so i'm going to simplify it -- Pros - Great performance, runs BeamNG drive on medium at a steady 130fps with jumps to 220 (45fps on ultra) - Handles editing videos pretty well - Frame rate is nice and smooth - Keyboard feels great and lights up - Acer's Nitro sense is perfect for managing fans to keep it nice and cool - Frosted screen, keeps the glare down (which i really love) - Screen resolution: its 1080P, that being said it actually looks pretty good, but im also not in this for looks, im here for frame rate - RAM: 32GBs, i use around 22 with intense gaming, and ill probably never need 32, but its nice for whenever a game decides to stutter and needs a buffer in ram - CPU: Ryzen 5 7535HS handles really well, aspecially paired with the RTX 4050 (underated IMO) -- Cons - Battery, terrible, gets you from the couch to the living room, like serously its bad. i get maybe two hours of watching youtube, and nothing else. I knew when buying a gaming laptop it would have bad life, but this sad. so it stays permenantly plugged in. I also recommend making sure its fully charged before gaming, because performace mode wont kick on till 40%, and right as it hit 40% i started a BeamNG sesh, and it dropped to 32% after an hour of gaming.... while plugged in :( it wont drop when its fully charged tho - brightness, not the easiest to see during the day, but its alright -- Side note - Super GPU heavy games is where this struggles a bit. After playing Drive Beyond Horizons (as of May 2025, just being released in March, 2025) it did handle it, but the fans had a hard time keeping up and it would throttle itself sometimes (ended up buying a latop cooler to help with this) - The battery, yes i'm back on this, but for the good this time, it actually charges really fast, like 45 mins from dead to charged - This thing is actually really good, however i would wait till it goes on sale (which i did)

Great laptop series!
Great laptop series, especially for the price. I have purchased two now, one being the 17 inch version. The performance of these are great for gaming (at least at the time of purchase). At the time of this review, even the one I purchased in 2022 still performs at a high level. Battery life is what you make it based on what you're using it for.

Budget laptop
Nice inexpensive gaming laptop that is also quick and responsive for my home needs. Very happy with it. Also came with an adapter for extra USB and other connections.

Auto shutoff issue
Randomly decides to shut off and hard to figure out a way to turn back one when this happens. You may have to hold the power button for 30+ seconds and sit the laptop. Power options do not fix this. Bios update needed but doubt it will ever be made
