Absolutely Love This Product!
I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and I’m surprised by how well it works. The build quality feels solid, and it’s exactly as described on the listing. Setup was super straightforward. What I like most is how practical and reliable it is in daily use. It does the job smoothly and consistently, no issues or glitches so far. The size/weight is just right. Shipping was also fast, arriving well-packaged with no damages. Definitely great value for price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this e scooter.

Compact, Powerful & Worth Every Penny
This scooter has completely transformed my daily commute — it folds up in seconds, rides smoothly thanks to the dual suspension, and the 500W motor handles hills with ease. The app control is a fun bonus, and the build quality feels surprisingly solid for the price. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, portable e-scooter!

Smooth ride
It’s amazing and works great the suspension gives it a really smooth ride even going over bumps or pretty large bumps it eases it. And the speed is really fast and so far the scooter doesn’t lose battery that quick.

Nice for the Price - but the Price is LOW
First, this is a $150 scooter. In the very-wide world of scooters, this is not a good scooter. But in the world of sub-$200 scooters, this is a pretty nice one. So get that straight, it's $150 and for that you should not have expectations that it will perform like a $500-$1000 scooter. You should also not expect it to be as durable as a scooter costing 3-4x as much. Seriously, you beat on it, it dies, and NOW you're upset? I'm hard on my scooters, then I get rid of them or fix them if I have time. Plan accordingly. I tend to get 1-2 years of use out of scooters in this super-low price range. That's less than bus fare for the year (or two tanks of gas for the car). The real CON for this (and reason for four stars) is the drop in battery life in performance mode. The Maxshot is not as fast as my HiBoy (also an entry-level model), so "performance" is more like "regular" mode in the HiBoy. As an aside, this one's drum brakes are way slower than the HiBoy's e-brake alone (and then far-far slower than the HiBoy's combined e-brake and rear disc brake), but that's okay for my uses. What is not as acceptable is how quickly the battery drains in performance mode. I have to charge it more frequently than the HiBoy, which just adds a level of uncertainty when I'm out on a weekend trip (I can usually find an electrical outlet, but not always). The point is that the Maxshot is not as long-lasting as others in this price-point. Like the brake system, the folding latch system is also sub-standard. This design has become popular among the lower-end scooters, but it is not as secure as what you see in the HiBoy. The latch frequently pops out of its groove in the folded position, so when you lift it you have to be careful that it isn't going to pop off.

Documentation is so bad, you don't know what you ordered.
Maxshot has out of control documentstion. The specs have serious errors. Silly me, I thought my -Maxshot V10-14‘’Tires -10.4AH- would have front brakes because the spec said it has front braking and dual braking. I only realized this after assembling. If I had been wondering about it, it would have been obvious looking at the front wheel which lacked a disk although it had a place to bolt on on. The assembly needs much better diagrams. The user's book has lots of differences from the product. The QR code yourube video is better, but nothing that shows where you can get screwed up. I didn't realize the steering control pipe had a ridge that needed to line up, but thought the input was narrowed. Even when lined up it was difficult until slid in for a few inches. One of the front wheel axel spacing collars (one on each side) was 1/2 the length, 3mm, of the correct size 6mm that I could see in the video. Maybe I lost one of two 1/2 sized 3mm collars? It was suspicious that they had the 1/2 sized 3mm along with one 6mm colla. These don't go anywhere else, suggesting they ran out of the 6mm collars, and replaced it with 2 collars of 3mm which does work, but did they put a note in explaining? No. I thought that maybe I lost one of the two 3mm collars when I took the axel off with all the hardware on it. Even the guy in the video dropped them all over the floor. Another example of really terrible documentation. The same specification for Maxshot V10-14‘’Tires -10.4AH says the wheel size was 8.5". But the picture of the big cat had 14' wheels. Even Rufus had no way to check. The bracket to attach the cellphone holder to the handlebars was broken.. The English printing was so poot for the manual for the included lock was completely unreadable. They did have a readable description that lock was initially set to 0000, and how to change the lock which didn't work.

Great company! Stands by their product
OH MY GOODNESS! I bought this scooter for my hubby because he is tall and it stands taller than mine. I didn't give it to him until Christmas. We didn't ride them until a few months ago. At first it worked great, but about a month ago - I noticed the power was cutting off early, and acted like the battery was dead. It wouldn't turn back on. But, when I plugged it in to recharge it - it showed it was full of battery, and then it worked again. So, I contacted MAXSHOT and they are sending me a new battery. I should receive it today. Thank you Maxshot for standing behind your product. This review is for the company itself. Hopefully it fixes the scooter problem. It's too high a price for a non-essential item - so I appreciate the help. What a great person/company to work with- ready to help. Thank you.

Great for kids and adults
This electric scooter is a great option for commuting or just getting around town! It’s easy to set up and the folding design makes it super convenient to store or take with you. The motor has plenty of power for everyday use, and it handles smoothly—even on slightly uneven pavement. The speed is impressive, and the battery life holds up well for short commutes or errands without constantly needing a recharge. I also like the larger tire options, which make the ride feel more stable and comfortable compared to smaller scooters. The display is easy to read, and the overall build feels solid and reliable. Overall, a great value scooter that’s practical, fun to ride, and perfect for daily use!
