Fits perfectly and seems to perform just as well as the Ryobi battery in my chainsaw and 1/2 the price of the Ryobi battery. Update May 2026: this battery now fails to charge. The Ryobi charger signals a fault. The battery had been delivering reduced run time for a few months prior to failing. This appears typical behavior for lithium ion batteries that don't last forever. It lasted about as long as the Ryobi branded batteries and was significantly less expensive so overall a win.

Needed to replace a battery for some yard equipment. Fit all the Ryobi yard tools I have and works well. Only used it once so not sure of the durability.

I purchased and used it last September 2023 for a couple months. Went to plug it into the lawnmower March 2024, and it did not work, wouldn’t charge and no lights came on. I made sure the charger was working with another Ryobi battery, and it did. Contacted the seller, and they contacted me the same day and asked for a video, for warranty purposes. Was making the video, and the battery came back to life, so I let it charge overnight. The next day, the lights came back on, so I plugged it into the lawnmower, and it worked like a charm. Hopefully it will continue to work this summer. If it wasn’t for the scare of not working, I’d give it 5 stars. It lasts as long as expected, and provides the right amount of power.

0 stars..longevity does not exist. Doesn’t charge very well 2 or 3 cycles and nothing. This was the replacement for the original that performed the same way. Buyer beware unless you like returning products multiple times.

Works well with my Ryobi lawnmower! If you don’t want to spend $200 or more, this option is great for me. The only issue is that the release button is pretty stiff. The weight is excellent, and the size fits perfectly. The battery capacity is a bit lower than the original, but I just charge it when it runs out, so it’s not a big deal. Installation is easy, just like the original. I was skeptical at first, but overall, I’m happy with the product. There are plenty of aftermarket options out there, some better and some worse, but it all comes down to performance for me.
