BioLogic's Scanmask Beneficial Nematodes, Steinernema feltiae Sf Nematodes for Natural Insect Pest Control (50 Million)

Been using this for a few years now for backyard fleas; very effective- and it’s annihilated the Japanese beetles too. IMPORTANT- I found I must make sure to order it in the spring when temperatures are under 80 F, and apply immediately to soil that’s already a little wet.

I have had very good results using this product to control rootworms in my organic garden. BioLogic does a great job of packaging the product carefully with long-lasting cold packs and insulation to keep the nematodes viable. The instructions for use are important, but no more difficult than for chemical treatments, and this product has the great advantage of being non-toxic to humans and pets. Take care that the product is used in a way that keeps the nematodes alive - keep them refrigerated prior to application, apply in the evening or on a cloudy day, and water the soil before and after applying. It is certainly not difficult, and well worth taking the time to do correctly. I have had far fewer problems with rootworms in years when I've used this product. And when I've had questions, I have received quick and knowledgeable responses from the folks at BioLogic. Highly recommended.

I used this product due to the problem we have with the pine beetles in Colorado. I think it has really helped. I will try this process again this coming summer just to make sure.

I applied this product over 30 days ago and had zero results so far. In fact I have an increase in fungus gnats in both my lawn and garden. Furthermore the company reached out to me to tell me that fungus gnats or lawn Nats don’t exist or are not a problem which is completely false. There is a plethora of information about the Gnats. I also found about five dozen grub worms in one of my garden beds that these didn’t help with at all… I don’t see the benefit in this one bit… Buyer beware.

We had a couple of summers where every time we went outside, we came in with fleas on our socks. We didn't even have any animals that went outside and our cat got fleas! My husband found these nematodes and we started using them. The first year, we noticed a difference in a very short time so we have been ordering them every year to apply at the start of summer and no flea issues since. Would recommend if you don't want to put chemicals on your yard.

My nematodes arrived on ice and I promptly refrigerated them per instructions. 12 hours later I went to use them, but before doing so I put them under the microscope only to find most are dead. I’m very disappointed. Update: Though the seller is not convinced they were dead, they offered to replace them and gave me directions for better viewing them. They have even gone so far as to offer me a smartphone microscope to use instead of my traditional one. I’m pleased with my interactions with the seller. I will update information about the viability of nematodes after receiving them Friday

I use these in my back yard to control fleas and I have had no flea problem for years even though I have squirrels, possums, raccoons, and who knows what else going through the yard. I use them in the front to control fire ants. I only spray the edges of the front yard, because that's where fire ants start. Within a week of spraying I have no more fire ants. They pack these really well, so even sitting in a UPS truck in the Texas heat all day they arrive cool. The frozen pack they add was not completely thawed when I got them, and it was in the high 90s in Texas. '

Years ago, I once had a yard flourishing in insects and root knot nematodes. For the past 4 years I have used the beneficial nematodes with great success, even the pesky root knot nematodes have disappeared. This company does a great job in packaging, making sure b the nematodes will arrive cold and alive. As another commenter said, "I will always purchase from this company" because of the packaging.
